thank you fish!!! i will decorate this url to be themed on the depths of the ocean.... for now i will ramble about the rhizophysa filiformis.

the rhizophysa filiformis is a type of siphonophore from the rhizophysidae family. they can be found at around 500m deep in the ocean. it looks like an alien ocean fairy!! they are bioluminescent and my favorite siphonophore of all time. another siphonophore in the rhizophysidae family is the flying spaghetti monster siphonophore (aka the bathyphysa conifera). it looks like its name, pretty bizarre!! i love you rhizophysidaes
