girl, interrupted: ★★★★☆
because i have a severe incapability to be niche and hipster about my taste i decided to just start with the movie everyone keeps talking about to me. i liked it enough. i think it's got some pretty good messaging, especially about the human experience and the way that susanna changes throughout the movie is very interesting to me. plus, i think that the overall story of the movie is relatively applicable to modern day teenagers regardless of whether or not they'd agree or not lol..
