[19:42] A new dawn rises, right as the invasion has begun. For now, they are standing in a pristine forest, as the villagers still build the defenses in the nearby walls. The dew flows from the leaves, as the birds chirp in the wake of Spring. A moment of serenity before the approaching storm.
Gathered within the Forest, Svengalf stands within a glade. He looks upon the sky, basking upon the rays, thoughtful. He turns towards the crowd. A soft smile is expressed to everyone, with melancholy upon his gaze.
"People of Meranthe. I welcome you in this beautiful morning. Take your time to enjoy this moment. To witness Spring blooming under the rays of the sacred Fyr in the Cosmos."
A moment of silence follows, looking around. Cautious of any unwanted guests. But for now, the scouts didn't report any intruders yet.
"We will be facing a great enemy soon. Already, they are marching in the frozen wastes of Meranthe, and soon they will rake the rest of thecoast. This is the battle of our lives. Every contribution matters. Be it from your physical prowess, your powerful magics, your clever mind, your dexterous hands and even the kindness in your heart, every one of our actions will shape our future and the rest of Meranthe."
A determining nod follows these words.
"As much as I would like to inspire all of you through Hope as I usually do, this time, we will be facing a threat greater than ever. A threat that could even be existential to our kind, and the physical realm if it's not stopped.
And therefore… this is why we are all gathered around today : To seek allies, beyond the physical realm."
Svengalf then takes gardening tools. Kneeling on the dirt, he makes some small holes, and sow some seeds in a very particular shape. While doing it, he continues with his speech.
"To those who do not know yet, when Eternia was nothing but white, The Divine Dragons, Beasts, and Constantsdanced together to shape the essentials of our world. Aeldfyr, the Grey Dragon, set the Fyr that awake the Universe. But while the Universe was painted from the Colors, it lacked Life. Thus, Nyssa the Dragon of Wind and Alacritas the Constant of Life, fused their powers together to create currents of concentrated Vitae : the Lifestream. And from this stream, a source was needed.
This is how the seed of Yggdrassil was sown, to what will become the World Tree, the Tree of Convergence. And thus began the Renewal Cycle. Through Death, Rebirth was now possible as every souls return to Yggdrassil, be renewed, and flow once more within the World.
The Canopy of Yggdrassil was the nest of Aeldfyr in the early beginnings. The two enjoyed each other's presence, but Aeldfyr couldn't always be present there. Until, the first humans appeared, and lived through the forests that surrounded the World Tree.
And one day, a dramatic event happened that no one expected : the death of a stillborn. A first to happen, as normally, people could only die of their venerable ages, after years of experience and growth. And therefore, the death of such a young soul, made a confused spirit. Without any experience, personality and memories, such spirit was damned to wander aimlessly.
Yggdrassil noticed such soul, and felt pity for their condition. And as the World Tree leaned a branch to cradle them, their soul shifted of shape, becoming small enough to fit inside the blooming flowers within the leaves.
They had given a chance to live properly, under the motherly care of the World Tree
And living from these branches, the could notice the many Realms that existed. And there, they witnessed the goodwill of humanity, but also the malice of them. The misuse of the magic that harms their mother, the vile corruption and Sins from Hel, the murders and the destruction of these worlds and civilisations.
The children then addressed to the World Tree they are willing to help and mend her, promising their best to save the Nature in Eternia. And Yggdrassil allowed them to leave and explore these realms to follow their promise.
And thus, marks the tale of fairies' origins."
(Svengalf Sandsker)
[19:43] A solemn nods concludes his story. He finished sowings the different seeds in a circle. Watering the spots, he continues.
"Whimsical and pure hearted, fairies are the Guardians and of the Lifestream and Yggdrassil. Their powers are able to mend the Lifestream itself. Even with their small form, their powers surpass what the average magi can do.
Their powers could be a helpfull boon to protect us from the incoming evil. To bless the earth and cast away the corruption. To mend our hearts from fear and despair. "
He turns towards the people present, taking a more solemn expression.
"But fairies are also sensitive. Their empathy is unbound, able to feel the deepest of our emotions. Such power is a double edged blade, as positive and negative emotions greatly affect them. And at any trace of Evil, a fairy will take no doubt in chastising them."
He then turns towards the circle of seeds he sown.
"This is why I have gatheredyou all. I am sure, many of us wish to live and see another dawn like today. Protecting your people and helping them realize their dreams and fulfilling their lives. Or achieving what is not yet done. To bite on that treat you have been dreaming to try for so long, and much more.
Share with us the kindness and the goodwill you feel to make Eternia a better place to live. Share the worries that fill your mind that could prevent you achieving such. Or even, share a small gift to the Keepers of Yggdrassil. Be it a song, an amusing story to entertain them, or anything a fairy could enjoy perhaps.
Fairies are attracted to Poppylusses scent, it is said, so perhaps by imbuing their seeds with your thoughts, their fragrance could transport our message."
He then lets the rest of the people attending interact with the circle he sown.
(Svengalf Sandsker)
[19:43] Kynodisme thinks, "...This has been an inspiring day. I should ask Camino if I can start a Bank of Meranthe..."
[19:48] {Item} You picked up Copperhoe. Dropped by Camino de Caewynn..
[19:48] {Item} You drop Copperhoe.
[19:50] Grey Aundeoth shows up late. Looks like he's wiping his eyes for some reason.
(Grey Aundeoth)
[19:52] Grey Aundeoth thinks, "What am I supposed to do exactly? I'm confused."
[19:53] Grey Aundeoth says in telepathy, ... what exactly am I supposed to do? I don't understand.
[19:54] Svengalf Sandsker's voice (to Grey Aundeoth): Meditate in front of a Poppylus seed, if you want to proove your goodwill to our guests. Or if you have any gifts that could attract fairies.
[19:54] Svengalf Sandsker's voice (to Grey Aundeoth): Could be an amusing story, a song, some fruits, flowers, and so on.
[19:54] Grey Aundeoth says in telepathy, Just... something funny I did?
[19:54] Svengalf Sandsker's voice (to Grey Aundeoth): If you have a story that could entertain the fairies, yes !
[19:54] Grey Aundeoth says in telepathy, Or a gift that could be used for good-hearted mischief?
[19:55] Grey Aundeoth says in telepathy, Give me ten minutes with an anvil and I will bring you something that should amuse them greatly. then.
[19:55] Svengalf Sandsker's voice (to Grey Aundeoth): Alright.
[19:55] Grey Aundeoth wipes his eyes and moves to go.
(Grey Aundeoth)
[19:55] Grey Aundeoth says, "I'll be right back with an offering"
[19:58] Mitra's expression stays as he listens, the words imparted bringing a soft smile to his words. To that, the Prithvi nods unto himself.. and as he begins to prepare his own part of the ritual, the Djinn has few thoughts to himself.
"Blessing the forests that surround Arcadia will be- ah, most hopeful." He declares. ".. But Poppylus is unlikely to do it on it's own. Allow me.." He begins.
His palm opens- and a small portal begins to open- a cloud exits, and one might begin to feel something beyond their wildest dreams contained within the cloud-
Mitra stares for a moment, and then reaches in to unveil a blessed Starstone, Chiron.
It brims with the ancient power of stars, and even further ancient magic- and slowly, his hold onto it deepens.
"A magical source unlike any other. A piece of a star's core, still burning bright and warm- it may give us the exact edge we need to find our unlikely allies," Mitra declared, words soft.
".. and to this, I have other objects of worth-"
Through other, smaller portals, they begin to arrive- a decrepit lantern that glows dim after decades of wear, one of the Lumin King's own blossoms to add to the field of Poppylus-
A condensed crystal of magic forged from Ilysander's own blood; an anomalous gemstone that bares a heavied bounty of mana.
They are placed- close to one another, yet far enough that they might not interfere with one another around Svengalf, while offering their own forms of aid to his ritual.
".. Please do continue. It is your invocation, of course!"
(Mitra Prithvi)
[19:59] Jaherr Valkynia thinks, " A chiron..."
[20:01] Kindness. Good will. For all the wont to wax poetics the royal might possess and bring to bear, he would remain silent... but not reserved entirely. Not a distant spectator - for all the words he could speak aloud, he would instead offer something that could mean a thousand each: Flowers.
A modest bouquet of such already held in clutch from the moment he had arrived. All of the flowers five in fourfold measure, from which at the leave of that invitation to offer unto the circle he steps forward and begins to pluck individual stems and sprigs out of the bunch. Placing them around in due mind to the cardinality of the seasons. Maxims of a sacred geometry adhered to - at least as much as can be whilst working around what is already sketched out by different standards.
(Camino de Caewynn)
[20:04] Kynodisme was content to just float there & watch Svengalf talking about Fairies, the hopes and dreams of the people, all the goodwill in the world,
all that stuff that makes the regular populace all warm and fuzzy inside.
For most Monsters, they were partially incompatible with these notions. They were wild animals. Territorial. Agoraphobic. Predatorial, even.
But Kynodisme historically only acted that way towards his fellow Monsters.
"What was, will be."
A Time-proven invocation leaves Kynodisme as he decides to contribute something or another to Svengalf's ritual. The Cetus' tarnished-platinum wings will him to casually aileron-roll forward, and in his wake,
A notable spreading of Fairy Dust & ethereal, prismatic-luma grid sparkles float all around the first outcroppings of flowers and seeds and all kinds of assorted goodies that the others had brought along to offer.
"What will be, was."
Kynodisme internally reasoned that 'more fairy stuff is better' here. Trouble is, where'd he even reasonably get that much? This Monster isn't turning into a Fairy as the decades go by or something.
Is it?
(Kynodisme)
[20:05] Tell a story to the seeds of something amusing... Oh, Grey has something amusing to share alright. He crouches down in front of the seeds, speaking in a conspiratorial whisper.
"A while ago I went to Garret, asking if he wanted to engage in a little tomfoolery. A little joke, at Gwynny's urging, to see who we could get.
So, I got a good look at Garret, and made a cutout of him with a little illusion to make it look more realistic. It was pretty flawed, but people fell for it anyway. A lot of laughs were had seeing hardened veterans have a five minute conversation with a scrap of paper, only for the real Garret to walk by. Some people even started mistaking Garret himself for one.
Eventually, people got used to it, but I decided to take it a step further and started making them higher quality. Took Garret in for some real high quality observation, made him do all kinds of movements... And the newest one started getting people again too, even when they already knew about the cutouts.
A harmless little prank, and one that's still funny. I needed it, when things got bad. I think it gave a lot of people a spark of laughter in dire straits."
He chuckles a few times throughout the story, thinking back on people who got caught by a little jest.
"So... I brought one here. It's a bit late for anyone to fall for it now, I should've come early and set it up, but... I'm sure you all can be trusted with it."
(Grey Aundeoth)
[20:10] Regalus watched on, as he always had. In his ever failing health, he is no longer as active in attending these events as much as he likes... and yet, he does his best. The Librarian stands aloft, blind yet sees, with a book in orbit and quill on hand.
One must live in present, to prepare for the future, and preserve the past.
It is this solemn mission of his, through life and death, that he continues on breathing. It is this solemn mission of his that he shares.
Eventually, he caught Kynodisme uttering a number of familiar words, of which Regalus joins:
"The Past is ever Present in the Future.
What has been, still is, and will forever be."
The old man opened a timey wimey portal thing and nabbed something from within... is that a jar of Fairy Powder?
25 units of fairy powder?
There was a screaming at the other end of the time, one that is undoubtedly Regalus's voice in protest. Did Regalus just steal from Regalus from another timeline?
Maybe.
Regardless, Kynodisme's idea was stolen and replicated.
(Regalus)
[20:10] Imbuing something with a thought?
For Sterling? Easier done than said.
It's as easy as a wisp that falls from a flame, a cinder of a burning fire drifting in the wind. A deep breath, and then out, a firm determination, hard-set on a goal. After all- what else but a fine desire to allow the spirits to empathize with?
She plucks a feather from the wings, and blows on it like a dandelion.
Nothing comes free from it, of course, but it's a nice, sweet sight, a serene desire to see the barbs and barbules flutter under a close, tame, trained gust. A practiced breath, a steady hum, a righteous feeling from the gut.
"...ah, it's too much for one feather, really.
But I want so many people to come home safely. Some to not go at all.I want to come out the other side of this, better or worse. See change. Sow change.
As much as I wanted to be free of this, I have bonds, now. Chains. And I don't hate them, really."
A few impressions of memories are coiled up, but they are offered on the feather all the same.
Drifting along to meet the ritual with her hopes.
"I can't sing, but I have something else for you, too."
Remember how grape jam randomly appeared around Meranthe for a while? No? Just Aphros?
Sterling places a jar near the ritual. A memory of the sirenian ritual and contests in the Traverse flicker by, the 'Jelly'-Fish spirits from Uraheim and all.
"Jam.
Go forth--" a snicker steals their words for a moment, while they slink away, and pass a glance at Loramelian.
The thought of the rumor goes by.Did you hear? Loramelian, the old Oracle, dyes their hair with grape jam!A slightly louder snicker steals the rest of whatever her thought process was.
(Sterling Montelione)
[20:12] "Well." He said awkwardly, shifting on his feet. If anyone had to deal with emotions, it was most definitely him. He takes a deep breath, then outstretches both hands. A deep breath, before it was time to send out good vibes.
His eyes glint golden for a single moment, the horns sparking with energy. His stance falters as he looks upon the Chiron, a bit of drool exiting his lips. The starstone.
He shakes his head about, but even so, he had to add something to this equation. He was the most capable user of cosmic mana present besides fake Garret Richter, thusly, he approached the Chiron, electrifying energy at his fingers.
"Melodious." He approaches, moving Faux Richter, before holding his hands out towards the Chiron to interface. Even if it was not his to use, just seeing it was tantalizing! Oh well, he would do so to help out. Small amounts of the Chiron's energy weaved between his fingertips as he approached, ready to mold it and meld it for the purpose of the ritual.
"Heeeellooooo… Tell me indeed what shall be done for the wondrous Chiron!" He said with a wide grin, just happy to be of use here. "For it's energy is pure potential!"
(Kakku Alinteau)
[20:12] Regalus also seemed to throw in a flurry of fireflies. How quite alike they are to faeries indeed.
(Regalus)
[20:14] Loramelian has shown up empty-handed, unlike the others who come bearing rich gifts-
(Or, in Grey's case, at least funny ones.)
It is a wonder that the Faeborne is perhaps here at all, as worn as she look;s the mask and cowl cannot hide her world-weary slouch or the rumpling of her garments, so simple they border on severe.
But as Svengalf tells the origin story of fairies...
She straightens, slowly, a new alertness rendering her silently rapt.
This is a tale that somehow, for all her years and learning, she has never heard before. And as it unfolds...
A slim shoulder shrugs off her staff, plants the silver sapling before her with its whispering, rustling branches a restless murmur of pleasant just-audible sound. They still as her fingers curl in mid-air, finding positions on some invisible strings.
A harp, judging by the sound that soon follows-
A pure, chiming timbre that plucks out a pensive melody, a haunting beauty that is all the sweeter for the sadness that underlies it. Her rich, throaty contralto shapes the song she offers up with feeling so tender that it aches down to the depths of the soul.
Mana is poured freely, almost heedlessly into the song - from a great and massive well of mana that few mages on Meranthe can match. It causes the notes to swell and echo, carried through the forest effortlessly without ever losing their muted, poignant volume:
"So young you were, when came to grief
By chance, or Fate's intent=
But the Tree of Spirits counts each leaf,
And each deserves lament.
O little spirit, tumble-torn
By winds you cannot bear...
The Tree's kind heart will see you born,
A shimmer on the air.
A mote of faith, and hope, and mirth,
The seeds you would have sown-
Had you but been granted birth
In the garden you'd been grown.
But budding, now, you shall arise
A rarer blossom still;
Your passing shall bejewel the skies,
A portent of good will.
O little one, I wished you mine,
But I must thank the Tree;
'Tis sweet to know your light will shine
For all, if not for me."
The final line of the song is frayed, voice cracking under its own emotional weight- she turns away without a word as the last notes die, an offering clearly torn from the depths of her heart.
(Loramelian)
[20:15] Sterling Montelione thinks, "...your singing is always the best. I'm almost missing my ability to."
[20:15] Worries, and kindness, goodwill. Svengalf's words, playing in her mind.
Worries. She had too many to count. After seeing first hand the Eastern Front, fighting in it, seeing people fall. Everyone injured, the Citadel disappearing. Her hand tightened around Nix's.
"My m-mind, is always full of worries. But! I r-realized that there were many people helping me, and c-cheering me on, even when I'd done nothing but trouble them. Every time I h-hit a block in the road, I know others will help, and t-that if we work together..."
...she wasn't entirely sure where she was going with this. She shut her eye in embarrassment. She wasn't the best of talkers.
"...I'm simply grateful. I've been blessed, e-even despite all the challenges.
Here's some flowers."
Cielia walked up, and deposited a large bundle of saniskriti, to make a nice flower pile.
(Cielia Meanderwing)
[20:15] A Chiron is unveiled, and the Bargiel's attention is swiftly grabbed. There is a shimmer in her eyes while Svengalf's explanation on the role of fairies is made. A story about the Lifestream and its creation, the importance of the cycle and then... why having the aid of fairies would be beneficial for the upcoming invasions.
There is silence from Nix at first once the Sandsker tells the reason why he has gathered so many magi. Another case of having to share her kindness, hopes and goodwill? Not only that... but also worries.
… Worries... the knight remains silent momentarily.
Opening her mouth mere moments after, with Nix trying to speak but with nothing to come out — worried eyes turn to close. A solemn expression making the Bargiel look down, frowning at herself.
"Let Atrellya serve as proof that Meranthe needs to stand united, for the sake of peace and prosperity."
Simple hopes are shared, before the knight of Astra returns to her usual silence while many others offer gifts in their own ways. Her mind's attention gets temporarily pulled away from the ritual, focusing instead on the trading of letters.
(Nix Bargiel)
[20:16] Loramelian unsurprisingly does not even NOTICE the jam. Ungrateful.
(Loramelian)
[20:17] Brynn Ahlstrom thinks, "Let all of this be enough, in the coming days."
[20:17] Loramelian thinks, "...Ah, Gods..."
[20:17] PM from (OOC)Grey Aundeoth: its so fucking funny dude, I've gotten so many people. I'm using it to dev golemancy, a war prep, and a consumeable later.
[20:19] Kynodisme thinks, "...All around you, the evening spring's light rains drip across the Realm of Delphina..."
[20:19] Kynodisme thinks, "...It drips through the eaves and the gutters, washing the muck away, refreshing the crops' sun-withered vines..."
[20:20] Kynodisme thinks, "....The spring thaw must be here. The snow from The Far North is melting..."
[20:21] The story of the Fairies.
Not one that Mei'Ria had heard before, though such origins were not wholly surprising given their physiology and connections to the spiritual.
Silently, did the owldrake observe and listen. This was, among all else, a well of knowledge and insight, on relations both spiritual, and cultural.
Mention of a dialogue between spiritual beings via the transmission of poppylus and imbued thoughts?
This made total sense, despite the uncommon technique.
As for empathy? A painful subject for one so emotionally inert. Yet, perhaps such was the perfect situation, so as to not over power their own senses? Mei'Ria mentally shrugged. This was not a field they were familiar with.
Instead, Mei'Ria would offer what they did know.
A mind of light and focus fell upon a handful of dormant seeds. A message contained within to be offered to those who dwelled upon the boughs of Yggdrasil.
Little ones, who find their home in the embrace of the world tree.
I offer you naught but mine own hearts touch.
It is a stale, thing, rarely roused save for in anger.
May you find such a stale and unfinished thing a curiosity. May one day, it feel as others do. The joys of life, the understanding of beauty, the love of another.
A tool is placed from beneath feathered wing, a hoe, one whos head was worn and weary. One that had plowed many fields, and one whos time for rest had come.
The mundane thing was placed upon the earth, something that had brought such life, returning to that which it had come from.
Did Mei'Ria not really understand many of the involved concepts? Perhaps, but they gave it their best try.
(Mei'Ria)
[20:22] An offering of thought?
The once-chronicler stood at a loss. He couldn’t sing, and even if he could, now was not the time. His mind was far too clouded, his spirit too weary. Hand on his chin, he pondered---something sentimental, perhaps?
Reaching into his satchel, he pulled out an old music disk, one he had listened to countless times. Lately, though, music held no meaning for him; his heart had long been overtaken by something darker.
Still, it was all he had. He offered the disk of Lady Melionette, hoping the siren’s voice would be enough to summon the spirits' favor and protection.
"I have no talent left, no gifts worth giving,"
he murmured, placing the disk carefully within the ritual circle.
"But perhaps these songs I once cherished will call forth those who might guard this forest."
With that, he left the disk of 'Something by Melionette Meandersong' at the heart of the circle, its promise lingering in the air.
Without another word, he stepped back, blending into the gathering of priests and wisemen, his offering given, his part played.
(Jaherr Valkynia)
[20:31] Yejide was still a bit shaken after witnessing the destruction of the citadel from afar, her eyes wary and open but her mouth would attempt to maintain a smile. The time she fears where coming upon the horizon, a scorching flame that was coming from the east that threatened to burn the west.
Yet still Yejide, despite her fear would continue to her duties as a songbird of Azalea's song. Duties that would lead her to the ritual she would find herself in, one of growth and commination with the spirits beyond the physical world, lead by someone she had only heard tales of before.
She didn't have a proper offering to grant to stoking the growth of the Poppylus, but she did have her voice, touched with the resonance granted by Azalea and awakened with the guidance of Mitra.
So that is what she would do, close her eyes, take a few deep breaths, expand her headwings at the top of her head, and began to hum. A melody of harmony would begin to form between her lips and the resonances within her circuits was pulled from it's dormancy. It would manifest around her hands and headwings as a golden wind that would begin to form and flow as if they where notes made manifested into a magical form.
"Her song of harmony carries upon the wind.
High up into a sonnet of air, down into the forest in a symphony of life.
A song that rises across the lifestream.
A song that shall ring for those who can renew us."
Yejide would sing, breaking her wordless melody before continuing and raising it's tone. The higher she sung the greater the golden wind flow through her until she raised her hands and allowed it to flow upon the gathering ritual, of starlit stones, blooming flowers, and redeemed relics.
Those close to the circle can feel their circuits briefly touched by the harmony of Azalea, faint echoes of but a few notes of a greater wordless melody that is emanated by the goddess.
Yejide would open her eyes once more as her melody began to trail off as the golden wind seeped into the ground of the ritual, both strengthen their mana as well as guiding any spiritual creatures that might be close by to it's location.
For was a song that could be heard across the lifestream, the song of a goddess, one that would be ended with a prayer.
"May our voices, may our offerings, may our joy be able to carry her song.
To have it go beyond the horizon.
To have it touch even the very roots of Yggdrassil itself."
(Yejide)
[20:38] Svengalf would then take the incense burner hidden behind a stump. While preparing the tool, the Elder watches over the people approaching the field. There is a smile given to them, as everyone provides a contribution in their way.
Towards Mitra, he basks upon the Chiron. An immense power was sensed from it. Supposedly a fragment of a star, Svengalf knew how stars were some sorts of visible gateways to the Lifestream, connecting to different realms.
So like the Fyr in their sky, perhaps this fragment could bask this circle with another Fyr to beckon on the fairies.
"This is wonderfull Mitra... So many shiny catalysts. Truly, a guiding light within the Darkness. Let us pray this ritual succeeds and helps."
Towards Camino, a smile of acknowledgement is displayed. A bouquet of seasonal flowers, along with Lumin Blossoms, the first time he discovers such. A nod follows, gratefull.
"Thank you Lord de Caewynn, such bouquet will surely put our guests in awe, should they respond to the call."
Towards Kynodisme and Regalus, he watches over them scattering the fairy dust to bless these grounds. Every scholar here would know how fairy dust have potent vitality properties. But how many of them would know what happens to the end of one fairy's lifespan ?
"Thank you kindly. Let us hope they had a wonderfull and peacefull life. Even in Death, Life regrowths anew."
To Grey, he looks towards the cutout from Garret. He was lifelike. And honestly, having seen one ''talking'' in front of Talguth, he was quite fooled too at first time. Surely, they could find a good use of this cutout.
"Thanks. This looks like a fun toy they could mess people around, hehe."
To Sterling, a nod is given, smiling to the small treat given. Sweetness that could be nectar for the fairies to sustain themselves.
"Thank you. Remember, it is the intention that matters, specially from kindness !"
To Kakku, he smiles.
"If you would like to pray with us, it is also fine ! Specially, if you can help connecting with the cosmic energies within the Lifestream with my help."
To Loramelian, there is a soft applause, nodding with grattiude.
"A wonderfull song, that shall resonate in their little hearts. And a song, that can inspire them and remind them their promise."
Towards Ciella, a smile, the reassuring kind, is adressed to her. A nod follows, with gratitude.
"Life can be hard indeed. But through hardships, we become stronger, and we can lift heavier weights after to carry our beloveds. Keep faith within yourself, friend, and you shall lift a mountain."
He senses the thoughts frin Mei'Ria and Nix. A silent nod is given, acknowleding their worries and hopes.
Towards Jaherr, a smile is given to his music, nodding.
"Your kindness and your care for others is a gift and a boon you can be proud of, Jaherr. Do not be hard with yourself !"
And finally, to Yejide. Another song, that comes from Harmony herself. Listening, a smile is drawn, apprefciating the lyrics. A song, that travels through the Lifestream, the spirits, and perhaps even reach for the Dreaming Azalea.
"Wonderfully sung, Yejide. Thank you greatly."
And thus... every donation was made.
It was time for Svengalf's to continue with the summoning...
(Svengalf Sandsker)
[20:38] {Item} You drop White Oil.
[20:43] Loramelian acknowledges Svengalf's words with a bow of her masked head, but nothing verbal, herself - and as the summoning begins? She turns to quietly slip away, fading into the shadows of the forest.
(Loramelian)
[20:56] Svengalf picks up the Incense burner. Litting it up, he does something unusual. While the lid is open, Svengalf takes a vial from a pocket : a vial that glistens in a pure, silver glow. Little people may have seen such product. But for the rare lucky ones ? It was the miraculous white oil.
Blended from different plants and most specially with aetherblossoms, this oil is able to accomplish healing miracles.
And like all oil, there is an unique property : to seep into the matter.
Therefore ? Svengalf pours the oil upon the earthy blend of incense, mixing together. Not only the preparation of incense is able to connect with the Divines by allowing a path between the Physical Realm and the Spirit Realm, but the burning fumes with the oil shall bless and impregnate the land with Aether itself.
Aether, from the Champion of Alacritas himself.
Svengalf raises in the air, litting the incense. A shroud of silver surrounds him, as emeraldine glows shine through the dawn. The circle shines, and glow. The seeds immediately sprout and blooms, making a circle of Poppylusses. Except for the center, where a cluster of Mushroom rises and growths.
The incantion is made, as Svengalf channels the different catalysts. From flowers, to the prayers, the songs, the gifts, the emotions shared, the Lifestream intensifies around them. And it streches, and flow across Svengalf, acting as a beacon of such.
"Lady Alacritas, Silver Constant of Life,
May you hear our call towards the World Tree Yggdrassil. The source of the Souls and the Living that follow the Renewal Cycle, and All-Mother of the Fairies.
Humanity as a whole is threatened by forces that shatter the world itself. Bearing the antique Sin and inheritors of Moros' ambitions, they march upon the Holy Land of Meranthe, sweeping through what our generations have built and maintained. Many lives try to contribute in this effort on their way. Either inspired by the Spear of Pylae fighiting the ennemy, or your Shield protecting the Meek, Meranthe gathers united once more.
Witness how despite our different origins, idealogies, and cultures, we are bound with one common goal : to survive, and protect our beloveds. Even if we may be imperfect, our flaws is what makes us human and care with each other.
I call upon your aid, to transmit our message to the World Tree. To ask for their help to protect this forest from Evil, and uplift their people. May our help reach them, as we stand also to protect your Voice, dreaming and vulnerable in her cocoon.
And for those who have assisted us in this day, and attended to this ritual, grant them your blessing and your love to accompagny them through this invasion.
And if our call fails, so be it. May at least, the fragrances of our gift imbue this forest with your holyness, and protect our souls from damnation should we fall."
And upon these words, Svengalf travels above the forest to spread the silver fumes of the incense to bless the land, as the circle shines with the circle grown.

[21:03] As Svengalf's speech ends, Grey looks across the offerings, and frowns a little.
Hopefully it'll be enough... he'd rather Arcadia, even in its state so unfamiliar not fall. Something there is precious.
If there is nothing else, the man in cauldron green turns to leave with a nod towards Svengalf.
(Grey Aundeoth)
[21:05] Svengalf Sandsker prays for Kynodisme.
[21:14] Mitra's hands hold onto the Chiron for a shorter time, and eventually, he begins to channel the essence of the magic itself into that of the Incense that Svengalf uses- an incense was a way to feel connected to the powers beyond, and a Chiron would serve as a perfect conduit to help channel that connection.
… Even if it feels like a waste; for the people of Arcadia, no price remain too great. The blessed starstone shimmers and teems with the radiance of the stars, ancient magic long before anyone present here-
He has never felt so blessed.
"Lady Azalea, hear our plea- in your dream, wherever you may be-
Pylae, constant of Hope, and the foundation of Arcadia's nation;
To the stars themselves and those beyond-
Hear our plea," Mitra calls. It's lingering, for fewer moments, and finally, the magic of the Chiron seems as though it begins to work- in tune with the Incense, with the ritual- the attuned magics of each sacred object profferd forth-
.. and it begins to deplete away, most certainly, palpable in the air as the gemstone's magic weaves through, the purpose yet to be unknown.
(Mitra Prithvi)
[21:27] And through the blessed incense and circle, Svengalf finishes to imbue the forest with the fragrances. It could take a moment to take a full effect. But for now ? It seems like travelling in the forest is more pleasant than usual, even at night.
The prayer was sent, harnessed from the donations, the circle, and the testimonies of the people participating. But for now... No answer was given. Svengalf wsa aware that such request was important and grave, And he could understand if such refusal was done. But for now, the Stream were silent of his echoes.
Svengalf lays foot on the ground, in front of the Circle.
He nods.
"Our pleas were sent, and now, we wait if a reply is made. At very least, the forest stands blessed.
Thank you, for everyone who have contributed in our ritual. It is greatly appreciated."
A wide, tired smile, is expressed. Indeed, he was way late awake than usual ! But he had a smile and was pleased to hold such ritual late, with how successfull it gathered colorfull people.
"That is all for today otherwise, for now. We will likely have to wait for the World Tree to answer our request first."
(Svengalf Sandsker)
[21:28] Mei'Ria offers a silent nod, before melting away into the forests shadows.

[21:45] Although Magnolia is not upon the same faithful wavelength, onto her nascent name, Lady Alacritas- she kneels her regardless in the wake of ceremony. Those energies of life. Silent words are offered in prayer.
For the horrors she saw not long ago.
For the daughter who's life had been nearly taken, amidst many who had lost family, friends, and all the like.
May Love Persevere
(Magnolia)
[21:46] Svengalf Sandsker says, "Thank you for attending, Magnolia."
[21:46] Magnolia says, "I apologize I came so late."
[21:46] Svengalf Sandsker exclaims, "It's okay !"
[21:47] Svengalf Sandsker exclaims, "I hope you still enjoyed the show !"
[21:47] Magnolia says, "It is a relief. . . a small thing I think I needed."
[21:47] Magnolia says, "No, not small."
[21:47] Svengalf Sandsker says, "I am glad then."
[21:47] Magnolia says, "But- Ah-Ahe..."
[21:48] Svengalf Sandsker asks, "No words can explain how big it is ?"
[21:48] Svengalf Sandsker giggles, amused, and touched to see her finding relief.
(Svengalf Sandsker)
[21:48] Magnolia says, "I don't know. I mean not to spread illness, but to watch an entire city, gone in a--- heartbeat."
[21:48] Magnolia says, "Upon a single spell."
[21:48] Svengalf Sandsker says, "Mmh.."
[21:49] Svengalf Sandsker says, "... It's concerning.."
[21:49] Svengalf Sandsker says, "I hope my family there is safe."
[21:49] Svengalf Sandsker says, "I should get some rest for now."
[21:49] Magnolia says, "The Lady Shogun did a marvelous job in preperation."
[21:50] Magnolia nods.
(Magnolia)
[21:50] Magnolia says, "I hope you rest well."
[21:50] Svengalf Sandsker says, "Thank you."
[21:50] Svengalf Sandsker says, "Before I leave."
[21:50] Svengalf Sandsker asks, "Would you like to feel her silver light to accompagny your day ?"
[21:50] Svengalf Sandsker says, "So you may find solace and love."
[21:50] Magnolia says, "I would like that."
[21:52] The lapine nods. He raises one hand, imbued with a silver glow. And with the ritual still freshly done, it takes little effort for Magnolia to feel once more the kind and loving, motherly embrace of an invisible presence, watching and caring behind her back.
"May you find relief and rest, after such battle. Enjoy the present moment, care for your beloveds while you can.
Walk Under her silver embrace, as she watches over her children."
(Svengalf Sandsker)
[21:52] Svengalf Sandsker prays for Magnolia.
[21:59] Ever was a prayer a wonderous relief. Substance, woven into the veins and essence of an individual. A loose, yet loving embrace that helps temper the emotions just the way an individual needs it. Caius- whom's expression come in pulses and waves of love. Alacritas, who's silvery embrace bestows the essence of life. A watchful gaze, like a mother upon their child in a way of beauty.
Magnolia drinks it in.
It dissuades that part of her, whom wished for naught more then to cry.
For- it was she, a mother herself, who had watched her own daughter nearly taken away. It reminds her of the joys of watching someone grow, the beauty of life.
A hand is raised briefly, matching Svengalf.
Then, it is lowered, her radiance surfacing in a soft, hopeful, and benevolent glow. One could, if they traced the nuances of this radiance, observe the essence that had been neatly woven in by Svengalf's prayer.
"Thank You.
Words of prayer, and the essence of them are ever a wonderful thing.
I wish all could know and experience, that they're loved. The world would be so much less a bleak place then."
The words are spoken with softly. She wears her ever tired smile upon her lips, yet oozing evermore with a warmth that has permeated for years now.
The bow of her head has her attention turn back to the center of the ritual, where she may no doubt remain for perhaps even hours yet- for meditations.
(Magnolia)
[22:02] Upon her words, Svengalf offers a small nod, and a smile to reassure her.
"Words of wisdom. Humanity needs all kindness possible to stay in solidarity with each other.
The pain you feel is understandable. And many more likely feel the same too. or worse.
Life can be hard, but these hardships are to be grasped, you can become stronger and afront them. And help those who struggle in the same path you took."
He rubs his eyes, washing away his tiredness.
"I should head to sleep now… Thank you for your time."
(Svengalf Sandsker)
[22:03] Magnolia nods to Svengalf again.
(Magnolia)
[22:03] Magnolia says, "You are right- ahe. May you rest well, Svengalf."
[22:04] Svengalf Sandsker says, "Thank you"
[22:04] Svengalf Sandsker exclaims, "Likewise !"
[22:04] Svengalf Sandsker offers a bow, before leaving.
