Combat Compatability
Out of the builds so far, which ones would work well together and which would struggle to get along or have styles that would get in each other's way?
Nana's defensive preference would shine better when she has a ninjutsu or genjutsu specialist to pair with, distracting and fending off enemies to give them opportunities to land big hits. Conversely, I feel this would also make her more of a hindrance when paired with a taijutsumaxxer. If she were to try her usual stuff, she might just end up getting in the way.
If you take her summons into account, then as loathe as she is to use them, it would give her the flexibility to fill almost any role in a group.
Hoping to Learn
Hey, what are you hoping to learn from your teachers by the time you graduate?
From her sensei, she wants to improve on the foundations of subterfuge, stealth, and the art of the hustle that's she's started developing.
From the teachers, improving her swordplay and defensive style would be ideal. Actually, do they teach economics to ten year olds in this school? Learning new ways to make money is always a priority.
Age
9 years old.
First Day
How early does everyone's builds arrive for the first day of class?
Nana would be showing up with Momika, so whenever she would want to get there. If I had to guess with how lazy Momika is, they'd only be a couple minutes early to right on time. (This was later proven to be a correct assumption.) Nana would want to show up around half an hour early if she were on her own.
Teacher Questionnaire
What was the first thing your character does when they make it to the village?
After getting her and Momika's stuff settled in, Nana would want to explore around and learn the layout of the village. The locations of the marketplace, the clan homes, the gambling dens, and mentally marking down any other good places of potential profit so that she can report back to Momika later.
You may request another build of the same sex to become your roommate, otherwise it will be picked at random.
110% Nana would request Momika as her roommate. She may end up forcing her way into Momika's dorm regardless if she wasn't paired with her.
What does your character do in their downtime?
Helping her sensei most of the time, but when not, could be found by herself practicing being more talkative and trying to make her speech less rigid.
But also notably, she will be fishing with the old salty village fisherman at the docks. She's from a fishing village, she knows how to do that. It's a bit of income if she catches enough, and the cheapest meal in the world is a free meal!
What vibe does your character give off as a first impression?
Answer was supplanted with an introductory writefag.
Simple Introductions (Nana, Kosshi, a hint of Momika)
https://rentry.org/u63edrps
TLDR: Attached at the hip with Momika most of the time, and is very socially awkward when she isn't.
What is your character’s attitude within a classroom setting?
Is very quiet during class, never raising her hand even when she doesn't understand the content being taught. If she gets too lost, her mind will end up wandering and possibly result in her doodling in the margins of her papers. Would be a deer in headlights if called upon when she wasn't paying attention. Will attempt to answer questions in a confident manner and would end up very embarrassed if she got it wrong, burying her face in her arms. She would wait until after class to ask Momika about stuff she didn't understand.
What is chakra?
"The energy in you that lets you do your jutsus and other shinobi things."
Do you know of the 12 basic Hand Seals?
"Boar, ram, tiger... snake... um..."
What is a Nindō?
"..."
"...I dunno..."
What does it mean to be a Shinobi?
"They're the most skilled people so they can do the hardest work in the village."
Future Super Moves
You're still too green to have one yet, but what kind of special technique or super attack do you dream of being able to pull off in the future? When you imagine yourself as the big strong elite Jonin facing off against a horde of enemies or an equal foe, what do you pull out to put an end do the battle?
Nana doesn't have a very good grasp on what the average Jonin can actually do
Against a horde:
[Dual Blades of the Mountain Range]
Stabs her swords into the ground and makes a fissure that spans the battlefield as she drags up two giant earthen blades. Then it's just sweeping the hordes away with her giant weapons.
Against a solo combatant:
[100 Billion Ryo Explosion]
Stabs her sword into the villain's chest and turns them into a water balloon of money, making them burst into a grand money rain. Not at all influence by a need for money.
Correction to Initial Academic Scoring
Nana wouldn't bring it up with Myorin, but Momika probably would. Nana would need an oral exam as well or she'll do terribly. Not because she's as dumb as a rock, but because she doesn't know how to read very well yet. Grew up in a poor fishing village until less than a year ago and the only one who could teach her anything since then was Momika, who might not be the best on that front and definitely didn't have enough time to really drill literacy into her skull.
Maybe Nana's literacy level would be a factor to lower her score, but not being able to answer most of the questions because of it would probably go against the point of the aptitude test.
Others Paying Her Summons
Although can the Twelve Bastards charge people for other stuff, or would that just be added to Nana’s debt?
The idea was that they'd give Nana the money, and she'd pass it off to her summon.
Jealousy
Would she feel jealous if Momika started talking to someone else for a while or is she just fine with not having Momika’s attention all the time?
Nana probably wouldn't be too jealous as long as she can reasonably believe that Momika is acting in the long con. Their whole student teacher connection was built on seeing Momika be charming and friendly with people in a way that got her money/favors/connections. It would take something different for Nana to get the idea of "does Sensei actually like this person?" and get the spark of jealousy she's never felt before. But Nana is very clingy in general, sticking by Momika's side whenever she can and being a little lackey to her.
Ninjutsu Class Questions
What does your build consider their best ninjutsu? Best is subjective to the person.
If asked, Nana would choose Earth Weapon. In her opinion, her summons don't feel enough like her own power for her to consider summoning them as her own ninjutsu.
Is your build willing to show it off to Dogen or do they want to hide it? If so, do they use anything else as a cover?
She wouldn't do it unless she was prompted do. Not because she was hiding it intentionally, wouldn't think she would need to. Just standing there until either Dogen or a classmate tells her, and she'd think "oh, that makes sense" and then do it.
How do they show it to Dogen (he's letting them decide), any details like if it's tiring, if they're clever or blunt with it, how they feel when he inevitably looks unimpressed, etc.
Nana has only ever used the jutsu on her own katanas, which she didn't bring with her to school (I imagine that Myorin had them using practice swords for their taijutsu test, and that made her think that she could keep her katanas in her dorm room). But she isn't the kind of girl to ask the teacher for help, so she'd attempt to form swords from earth to poor results because she'd be basically winging it. Crumbly, blunt things that look closer to clubs than swords. She'd be struggling to keep them solid and would be incredibly embarrassed at struggling so much at what she just called her "best ninjutsu". Dogen's unimpressed look would only make it worse for her, and the jutsu would fall apart, then she would to make an escape back to her or Momika's seat without being told she's dismissed.
Small Followup
Nana forgetting to ask for swords might work for the scene
It's in character for her! She doesn't raise her hand in class when she has questions, she doesn't think to ask for help from teachers, and so she wouldn't ask for swords to work on her jutsu. She'd have imagined that Dogen wanted her to make earth swords from scratch and would make a fool of herself trying to do an application of the jutsu she's never tried before.
Why She Doesn't Like Nekomaru
With Nana, I was trying to do that “me when I meet someone more autistic than me” reaction that we discussed.
Yeah, I figured as much. Me saying that she'd find Nekomaru annoying is because that's how I find she'd be feeling about the "more autistic" thing. Nekomaru's more obvious lack of social grace makes her unconsciously compare her own actions to his and she doesn't like how close it is even after working hard with Momika to work on that. It makes her not like Nekomaru and find him annoying because she's a child.
Future Elemental Natures and Techniques
Elementfriends, most of us seem to be singular, non-kekkei elements at the moment. Is anyone thinking of eventually branching out to another element, getting a kekkei, or just focusing on their existing one?
I'm planning on having her push off from dual sword user into a merchant summoner hybrid class type fighter, using money and gold for attacks and to amp her summons by overpaying them. I don't know if using money based jutsu would require a custom EKG or if I'll just flavor it with what I have now, but Nana being completely oblivious to a potential EKG in her blood and only using Earth until now fits her character.
What about techniques from other categories? Anything you're looking to learn from/practice with another character?
I said that Nana will move away from her sword focus, but it'd be nice to get advanced taijutsu from Myorin to work with it in the meantime so that she has a physical option when she goes merchant summoner. And of course, Nana will want to improve on her subterfuge and stealth from Momika.
I haven't planned out the future build at all, so I won't commit to more than that in case it's spreading myself too thin.
First Set of Roommate Questions
How does your dorm room look after you're done unpacking? Barring some rich kids, I can't imagine you've been able to bring everything you wanted with you on your long journey to Moon, so what are some stand out decorations? How do you think your room will look by the time you graduate and you've had time to personalize it with stuff from the village? How well do you split your space with your roommate(s)? Just a 50/50 or do you share some things with each other?
Thanks to the Enclosement Technique and Storage Sealing Scrolls, you'd be wrong. Nana can bring her and Momika's things with them along for the boat ride. Only real problem is figuring out what she would have gathered from her travels with Momika. If I had to guess, a lot of their furniture and various other supplies were stolen straight from any temporary living space they stayed in, so it'd be a lot of stuff you'd find in a feudal era inn. Momika anon is free to rebut me on this though. By the end, it'll likely have more stolen stuff with some actual personal touches like photos and strewn about studying materials.
Nana is fine sharing her portion of the room with Momika, effectively making it a 2:1 ratio if Momika doesn't want to split with Ayane any.
Now that roommates are pretty much solidified, how do you act with them upon meeting each other? You're possibly stuck together for years, so do you try to be more accommodating than normal with them? Treat them with suspicion until you've clocked their personality? Ignore them completely?
With Momika, it's unchanged. With Ayane, it kind of depends on how Momika wants to treat the roommate relationship. If Nana's told that Ayane is a rich girl and that they're earning friendship to gain favors, then she'd be awkward around Ayane as she tries to figure out how to make the other girl into a "friend" like that. Probably try to give Ayane the little carved wooden doe. It would be funny that Ayane's straightforward friendly style would make Nana think that it's actually Ayane trying to get Nana to like her for the same reason Nana is and she'd become needlessly guarded and clammed up for a while.
Nana isn't made of stone, though. If Ayane kept up her attempts at being friendly, Nana would unintentionally start to feel safer with her. I don't know if Momika would like it or not, but Nana would start to actually like being around Ayane even without the pretext of trying to get favors from her.
Dealing With a Mugger
You were walking through the village alone, minding your own business. You cut through a side path and bam, you're being held up at knife point! He's just a petty thief, he has no chance at beating you. He's decided to rob you because you're young and dress weird. Unless you're a teacher, then he just thinks you look like an easy mark for whatever reason. Question is, how do you deal with this generic mob? And what do you do about him after you've handled him?
Before meeting Momika, Nana had been strong armed into giving up whatever meager earnings she had pretty often. It hasn't even been a year since that time in her life, so she's quite bitter about it still.
Earthen pillar rising up from the ground into his balls.
Then, Nana proceeds to rob him at sword point. Whatever money he has, his knife, his mask, his piece of paper, whatever she thinks is even somewhat valuable. Then she'd let him go, not bothering to bring him to any authorities or kill him.
Other Outfits
I want to know what everyone else's other outfits are too. Nobody goes to school in the same thing every day unless you're a fucking weirdo or an... anime character
Nana doesn't have any alt art as far as I know, so I can't go off of that. But she surely has more than a few outfits stowed away. I could see Momika having stolen something cute for Nana like a pink sakura petal kimono or a sundress to emphasize her young age to play up a certain act for some scams. Nana also has her last outfit from her time in her village, which would be pretty rough basic clothes like a canvas tunic and wool pants. Never wears it anymore because it's pretty uncomfortable, but it's her only keepsake from back then. Nana isn't particularly picky about her clothes or hairstyle (with Momika likely having picked out her outfits from the time when she first picked her up), but she does lean more towards darker tones because it's better for hiding and more layered outfits because she gets cold kind of easily. A near constant in her outfits would be a scarf because she likes how it feels and the convenience of being able to hide her face with it.
Second Set of Roommate Questions
How do you introduce yourself to your roommate? Do you try to get to know them? Any rules your character would lay out?
Nana has obviously already met Momika, but she's also briefly met Ayane during the first day of class, so introductions are unnecessary. Nana has been prepped by Momika to have the mindset of trying to befriend Ayane for favors and connections, so she would awkwardly attempt this at first. Thankfully, Momika is there so Nana can follow her lead without making a big fool of herself like she did with Kosshi.
How do you decorate your dorm? What’s the layout? What belongings did you bring with you? Do you buy anything in the market to bring to the dorm?
Being a couple of thieves, Nana and Momika have a lot of stolen furniture and decorations from inns during their travels they acquired and stored into Storage Sealing Scrolls. Chairs, lanterns, futons, desks, books, shelves, pillows, blankets, paper screens, and whatever else they could get away with snatching. They didn't have to be too subtle about what they were stealing if they were leaving town anyway. It's the main reason Nana learned the Enclosement Technique. Nana willingly shares her 1/3 of the room with Momika, helping Momika set it up her way. It's their shared furniture either way. The things that are uniquely Nana's would be some fishing tools and gear, and a few valuable items she's particularly proud of stealing. Momika probably praised her for it, so she keeps them around as mementos instead of immediately selling them. Something like a maneki-neko statue she had filched from a rich merchant without getting caught. Anything really valuable she'd keep sealed away to prevent it from being stolen. Nothing from the market, it's a waste of money! I'm assuming we get 3 beds for the 3 person room, and Nana would push hers close to Momika's.
If you do want to get closer to your roommate, what icebreakers do you try? If you dislike your roommate, what about living with them annoys your character?
Nana would want to give Ayane one of the little carved wood statuettes she had made just for making friends. For Ayane, she'd opt to give her the wooden doe one with the same explanation that it's a good luck charm. Ayane being so straightforwardly friendly approach to making friends would actually make Nana rethink introductions. Nana would get worried that Ayane is trying to get into Nana and Momika's good graces for the same reason that Nana and Momika were with Ayane. It kind of goes against Nana not being a very distrustful person, but it's funny and a misunderstanding so I'll make an exception here. The misunderstanding would make Nana extra guarded against Ayane for a while, coming up with bad off the cuff excuses to quickly leave the room if she was alone with Ayane for whatever reason.
What would your character be like to live with? Are they tidy and organized or messy and sporadic? Are they quiet or would they receive noise complaints? How do you divvy up chores? Does your character cook or only get takeout? Do you try and get to know your neighbors or does your character leave them alone?
In my head, I imagine Ayane is a neat person, and Nana would also be with Momika being the only messy one. She'll obviously defer to Momika on how the room rules would be set up, but Nana would think that Ayane should handle her own chores and clean up after herself. Nana is Momika's lackey, though, so she's handling both of their chores and cleaning up Momika's messes for her, fully enabling Momika's lazy lifestyle. Nana doesn't know how to prepare many dishes, but she certainly knows how to handle fresh fish! I hope Ayane likes fish, because Nana catching fish would be a regular occurrence if Momika doesn't have any other plans for dinner. As for the neighbors, it mostly depends on who is close by. Again, she'd be following Momika's lead on those interactions, but she does genuinely want to know more about Kosshi and why she's so white and mysterious (and then there's her brother who will exist soon, so that adds to the mystery). Depending on how Momika feels about it, it might also lead to them scouting out the other potential connections, with Nana making her own probing examinations on how guarded their stuff is. She wouldn't steal anything from her classmates of course... but if the two of them suddenly needed to leave Moon for whatever reason, it doesn't hurt to know whose rooms to loot on the way out.
Is this the start of a new friendship or a bitter rivalry? Or both?
Despite her initial misunderstanding, Nana isn't a dirty blockheaded gravelbacked stonefooted gemmunching saltsucking BOULDER of a person, so Ayane would definitely wear her down with multiple attempts at friendship. It'd take a few days, but Nana would lower her guard and feel more comfortable and safer around Ayane. The pretext of wanting to cozy up with Ayane for selfish reasons would be in the back of her head, but she'd start to enjoy being around the other girl even without it. Friendship GET for Ayane.
Doing Ayane's Chores
Yeah, she'll do it because she's still wants to make Ayane like her (even though it'll be hard to justify that to herself during the misunderstanding part. At that point she'll do it because she thinks that Momika definitely has the upper hand in any kind of subterfuge exchanges and she doesn't want to mess it up for her sensei). She'll initially mentally complain to herself that Ayane should be cleaning up after herself, but it'll become routine for her by the time they get past the performative friendship part of their time together. She already does Momika's part of the chores, adding Ayane's chores wouldn't be too much of a burden.
Height
Niija's, how tall is your build?
She was definitely supposed to be real small in the build concept, and the writefags with her do corroborate that. I'll make her just a smidgeon shorter than Nekomaru since he's alreay really short as well. If that one anon's right and he's about 100cm, then I'll set Nana at 97cm.
Nindō
How many of the students are already dead set on their Nindo and which haven’t decided yet?
Nana still doesn't have a very good grasp on what "Nindō" means really. But I think hers currently is something like "I'll survive no matter what." Survival is the ultimate culmination of her motivation to being a shinobi as of now. Her greed and hoarding are born from a desperate desire to live.
Socials
Is there someone in your class that has caught your build's interest that isn't your roommate? Someone you'd want to know more about? Even if you're a broody teenager and don't plan on socializing, someone at least must have stuck in your mind more than the others. Maybe it's a teacher?
I'll split this into girls, boys, and teachers.
From the girls, Nana is interested in knowing more about Kosshi as I've shown before, even after her initial floundering in introductions. She has a very mysterious presence, and it intrigues little Nana. Other than her, Nana was interested in Natsume since she's the only girl even younger than Nana... but that interest evaporated the first time she heard Natsume talk.
From the boys, Motomu has to get a mention because of his connection to Kosshi, but it's to a lesser extent. Maybe if she saw him in a less noble light, she'd try to pester him a little about questions she wanted to ask Kosshi. Koda is also someone that has caught her interest because of his summons. She has no benchmark for what summons are supposed to be like, so she'd be really interested to know about that (and then subsequently get jealous when she sees how much easier Eeki and the other rats are to deal with in comparison to the Twelve Bastards. What do you mean they help you just because you ask???). Lastly, there's the curiosity of whether Iwao is really made of rock or if he's just wearing a weird suit. She'd get pretty annoyed with him after an attempted conversation and think it's gross he doesn't wear clothes.
For the teachers, it's definitely Fox. She's a jonin at 14, that's the kind of pace Nana wants (and really needs) to have if she wants a chance at paying off her massive debt. When Kisui challenges her and she gives him extra training, Nana will be VERY interested in seeing what that will entail. Even to the point that if she thinks she might be able to keep up with it herself (and asking Momika if she thinks it would be a good idea), she'd also ask Fox for the extra training. If she gets the chance, she'd want to ask what Fox's early career was like to glean insights on how to improve herself and avoid any upcoming pitfalls.
What is it like to talk to you? Are you animated? Monotone? Maybe you speak quickly? Or have a deep voice? Some kind of vocal tick?
There are two sides to talking to Nana, whether she's trying to social and when she isn't.
For the former, she tries to emulate Momika a lot, but isn't very good at it yet. She has to take long seconds of silence between each response to try to think about how she should be talking, what her facial expression should be, and body language, often each thing only being done sequentially instead of all at once. She tries hard on this, but it all comes across as pretty forced cheerfulness. Like she might say something out of nowhere during a conversation because she thinks she has to be an active part of it at almost all times. Having her attempts show poor results (like with Kosshi only getting more suspicious of her) causes Nana to get flustered/embarrassed and make less thoughtful decisions and often blurting out what's on her mind. She will slowly get better about this over time as she has her bad tendencies corrected and she becomes more used to being outgoing. When she's with Momika, Nana is a lot more confident with herself and is less stilted because she goes off of Momika's lead in the conversation and knows Momika is skilled enough to cover up any potential flubbing on Nana's end.
On the introverted side, when she's not trying to be social, Nana is short with her words and stays deadpan or even not engage in conversation. She could just not respond to people when she thinks that there doesn't need to be anything more added from her side. She's less vulnerable like this and doesn't get as embarrassed when she makes a social faux pas because she isn't trying to be charming. This side of her is rare because she does want to be naturally charming like Momika is. It probably only crops up when she's in a bad mood or just too mentally exhausted to put in the effort.
Give us a line or two of example dialogue to give everyone a feel on how your build typically talks to their classmates.
Social (without Momika):
"Ara? Sure, (name)-chan, you can copy my notes... for 1,000 ryo!" (awkward pause) (forces a stiff smile) (another awkward pause) (pats your arm roughly)
Unsocial:
"1,000 ryo. Give it back before class starts."
Homesickness
Getsugakure is great, sure. They'e a rich place with a lot to offer. But maybe they're missing that special something you're missing. You're a long way from home, so is there anything you really miss from your old home? A local dish? A game you used to play? A village tradition? A beautiful view you'd taken for granted? Your parents?
Nana was never the outgoing type, so she never really took part of her village's small traditions and festivals except to the extent she was forced to by her parents. Despite that, she'll be surprised to find out just how much she misses pretty much everything about her village, even the parts she never took part in. Of course, it's because she's just a little kid who got torn away from everything she used to know, but until now she's been in too much of a state of "I need to get money ASAP or I'll die too" to really stop and process her feelings on it. She had her good moments with Momika, and part of why she latched on so hard to the older girl is because she is steady, warm, and nurturing presence in Nana's life. But Nana will definitely start to get homesick now that they're no longer moving from place to place all the time.
Do you ever think about trying to replicate that in some way here in Getsu?
Getsu would be a great place to try to replicate her village traditions, given it's another island nation, but Nana could only try to replicate some things from memory badly since she barely took part in them in the first place. Like she might send out a small wooden boat out to sea during the start of spring to pray for calm seas in the upcoming months, but she wouldn't know what else to do besides that.
Sparring Day Questions
What was your answer for your homework: “What is your Nindō? Your Shinobi Way?”
Scrawled in poor penmanship: "Too get justiss for my villaje."
Which is mostly a lie, but she isn't going to tell anyone that besides Momika. Her debt and its consequences are currently a secret (by Momika's advice) because it's something that could be easily taken advantage of.
How does your character feel about battling this opponent?
Nana dislikes Nekomaru, but not to the point of "I finally get to silence this nuisance." If she starts to get the upper hand, she'll feel some satisfaction, though. If the fights go in the order listed, by this point she likely suspects this list of fights isn't really as random as claimed and gives Suzaku a suspicious look.
How does your character act in combat/banter?
At the beginning when performing the seal of confrontation, Nana will attempt awkward niceties in her own way. But in a fight where she has to concentrate, Nana doesn't have time to try to figure out how to be social. So she likely just defaults to her more instinctual deadpan self, in which she doesn't talk. It'll be a cool contrast seeing both Nekomaru and Nana switch to a much more quiet and focused mindset when they're in combat.
What strategy does your character have in mind when facing off against them?
No summons, but defense, defense, defense. It's already her favored style, but after the previous class with Dogen, Nana gets the impression that Nekomaru lacks stamina and would aim to take advantage of that. (Funny that they'd both aim for the target of wearing the other down before striking true. I wonder how that will work out for them.) This would be shown with using her Earth Weapon infused katanas to maintain a larger threat range than normal fists, deflecting strikes with one katana and threatening an attack with the other to force retreats if Nekomaru tries to be greedy with a follow up.
If pushed to the back foot, Nana will definitely try any kind of dirty move she can think of. Biting, pulling his hair, pulling his ears, pulling his tail, stomping on toes, and shifting the ground to trip Nekomaru are all free game. She might even get inspired by watching Hibiki assuming his fight is before hers. She has already prepared a handful of sand/dirt in one of her pockets to throw in his eyes that she gathered during the previous fights. And of course, there's the ever present big glowing weak spot that Nekomaru keeps by his side at all times, Stripes-san. She'll be cautious about messing with it due to what she saw during Myorin's class, but it's something she'll keep in her pocket if she needs a last ditch push to catch him off guard and quickly end the fight by putting a katana to his neck while he's initially shocked. She wouldn't cut the toy open itself (even she'd think that's going too far for a spar), but she'd be more than willing to cut the rope connecting it to him and kicking it out of the arena. If Nekomaru goes psycho mode from this and Suzaku doesn't end the fight after Nana gets heavily beat up by it, then I could possibly see her finally pulling out a summon just to preserve her life. Dealer's choice on which if it comes to that.
What Jutsu, Technique or Talent would you want to see the most from your build?
I'd like to see this gag >>97721152 [Nekomaru anon, I propose that at the beginning of the fight, both Nana and Nekomaru have an awkward start where their first few attacks whiff by going too high. They both have only sparred with people a lot taller than them, so they have to take a bit to adjust to fighting a foe on even footing.] at the start.
The main technique I'd like to showcase is the Bending River Style, as I think it synergizes well with Earth Weapon (even if it's more suited to blunt weapons) to deflect incoming attacks.
If you could choose, would you prefer a draw, victory, or defeat outcome?
I can see an argument for both sides, so I'll be happy with either outcome. To be fair to Nekomaru anon, though, Nana fighting without using her summons is practically operating with only half the build, so I'd feel kind of bad if he lost despite that handicap.
6 Months Later: Downtime
Little ninjas, how have you been spending your downtime so far in between classes? Midterms are right around the corner, so you better have been forming friendships!
Nana's sure been busy these last six months!
Socialization, subterfuge, and stealth training are all a constant, and I think Nana's made good improvements since the start of the year. Hell, she's finally been able to invite classmates to hang out... without Momika there (results may vary)! She's still introverted, but she's learning enough from her mistakes to start to act like a regular shy person most of the time instead of a turbo autist. A far cry from being the charming socialite Momika is, but it's progress. Ayane is Nana's most regular socialization training partner, with Kosshi being the one Nana goes to to try to put her training into practice. Very likely to little success.
Aside from that, she's also started on her drone work for Dogen in exchange for his help with learning how to deal with her summons. It's like an internship since she doesn't get paid to do it. You can often find her running messages or fetching things for Dogen when she isn't doing the more monotonous work since she's surely been taught how to properly read and write by this point.
And then there's her own dorm room. Being the sole cleaner in the three person room likely takes a good chunk of her time since Momika and Ayane want to be treated like nobles.
But when she finally has time to herself, Nana can spend her time fishing at the beach. Rest and food.
