Mykola and Artem's childhood

Artem was born October 14th, 1984, in the USSR (Soviet Union). After his mom recovered, she left him and his dad, Vlosk because she wanted nothing to do with them. One year later, Vlosk meets Katzen and they have Mykola on June 29th, 1986. When Mykola was 5 and Artem was 7, the Dissolution of the Soviet Union occurred. Everyone took shelter. Not even days after, Katzen left and abandoned her family. After 4 months of living off scraps of food and dirty water, they escaped to Norway to live with Vlosk's sister (Artem and Mykola's aunt). Mykola and Artem suffered shell shock. At the time, C-PTSD wasn't very diagnosed often, nor was it common to be diagnosed, but both of them did go to therapy and take specific medications. Later on, they both became friends with Tord.

Tord's Childhood

Tord was born June 8th, 1987, in Norway. His parents didn't pay a lot of attention to him as his mother was always working and his father would "work" in his office. Tord had entered his dad's office a few times, turns out his father watched pornography. Tord was exposed to the sexual content. Soon, during this time period, Mykola and Artem moved in. Tord was scared at first due to both of them being in shell shock and looking pretty terrified due to the war, but as time passed, they became friends and even learned each others languages. Soon, Tord's mom found out about his fathers pornography addiction, since it was getting out of hand AND Tord was exposed to it, his mother divorced him and became a stay-at-home mother. Later in this AU, it is discovered that Tord has hypersexuality.

Tom's childhood

Tom was born September 4th, 1988, in the United Kingdom. He had a really normal early childhood; his parents were very attentive and also very understanding, they were the best parents anyone could ever ask for. Until, when Tom was 6, his mother died from illness. Later that year, his dad was shot and killed while on a fishing trip with Tom. (Since these events happened while Tom was young, his brain kind of blocks out these memories. Thus, comparing his mother to a bowling ball and his dad to a pineapple.) Tom was found by a couple who were Jehova's Witness believers, and they took him in. Usually, these households are found to be "safe," but this experience barely was really safe for Tom. His new parents would argue a lot and at times would force their practices onto Tom.

Edd's childhood

Edd was born July 23rd, 1988, in the United Kingdom. He had a pretty normal childhood from the start, and his parents were really kind people, though he was bullied a bit. When Edd was 8, found out he had a foreign neighbor, Matt. He became best friends with Matt and helped him with English, they even went to the same school. He really liked to draw. Edd also really liked cats; he would spend time outside looking for stray cats with Matt, and often he would stay over at Matt's house because he had a kitten (guys I'm so soooo locked out THIS WILLL BE EDITED ONCE I HAVE MORE INFO!!!).

Matt's childhood

Matt was born May 15th, 1989, in Ireland. Growing up, he was a mama's boy; he was always with his mother and loved her a lot. Soon, Matt and his family moved to the United Kingdom and they lived right next to Edd's family. Matt and Edd became best friends, and he even learned English from him. Matt attended the same school as Edd. Matt was bullied quite a lot due to his accent and appearance.

Mykola's teenage years

When Mykola turned 13, Katzen came over to Norway and kidnapped them and Artem and decided to flee back to Russia with them. Mind you, this side of their family is heavily induced by religion in a sick, twisted, psychotic way. Katzen had forced being Catholic onto Mykola AND Artem, making them pray on the floor everyday just to eat, to get new clothes, do have basic human necessities. If they didn't comply, she would hit them. Artem refused religious beliefs, so she was kicked out. Katzen also lived with her sister, who wasn’t any better. She would S/A Mykola repeatedly, sometimes even cross the line way too far, she used the excuse, “God made me do it.” To top it all off, no one believed them. at 14-15, Mykola had found a way to sneak onto Katzen's computer, and they made an account and they could find a way to added Tord, and they did. They had also met Tom (not myspace tom), who appeared to have a common friend. They genuinely could not speak to each other because Mykola has no idea how to speak English, so they had Tord translate until Tom taught them enough English to understand each other. When Mykola turned 16, Katzen found it all. Their Myspace messages. All of the times they had vented about life at home, messages about gender dysphoria, sexuality, self harm , everything. even Mykola’s confession to Tom asking to date them. Katzen lost her mind, saying that God can’t save them. She sent Mykola to a mental asylum, where it was extremely crowded and in general an abusive environment. They managed to escape somehow and got a job.

The Eddsworld gang's teenage years (Edd, Tord, Tom, and Matt)

Edd, Matt, and Tom went to the same high school, Edd and Matt eventually became friends with Tom and also had a very strong bond with one another; they were the only people who knew about Tom being transgender. Tord and his mother ended up moving to the United Kingdom for a new start, and he attended the same school as Edd, Matt, and Tom. Tord met Edd first in the hallway and over time Tord learned enough English to meet Matt and Tom. As Edd was teaching Tord English, Tord slowly started to fall in love, but he tried to shove those emotions as deep into his mind as he could as he didn't know if it was okay to feel that way. Soon, they all exchanged Myspaces. Tom ended up finding Mykola in their mutual friends on Myspace, he decided to add them in curiosity. Him and Tord helped them with English. The more they talked, the more in love Tom and Mykola were. Tord found out about this and realized, "hey, maybe it's okay to feel like this," but he wasn't entirely sure.

Early Adulthood

Edd, Tord, Tom, and Matt graduate around the same time and buy a house. Around the same time, Mykola had managed to save up enough money to move to the UK, hearing that Tord had moved in with the others. Mykola and Tom had been dating as well as Edd and Tord started dating. They all went on adventures. Eventually, in 2008, during Moving Targets, Tord suffered a brain injury from his failed jetpack take off. He did recover, but he suffered Post-Traumatic Personality Change. Tord, unfortunately, had to leave because he was scared of hurting Edd and anyone else. After his personality fully altered, he began trying to start his army and even offered to recruit Mykola, they denied at first, but eventually they accepted the offer without telling Tom, Matt, and Edd. Eventually, they built up to a high military level, due to their great combat and self-defense skills. though, the downside is that the immense training triggered bad episodes. Edd was extremely worried about Tord. In 2010, Future Edd showed up and warned him about Red Leader, but Edd, obviously, didn't know who red leader was yet. Future Edd attempted to kill Edd, but failed drastically. 6 years later, Tord comes back and acts all friendly. He stayed in Edd's room for the week and being all loving. The act was extremely fake, but he still genuinely loved Edd despite everything messed up in his brain. He soon made Tom flee the household. when Tom found out about Tord being affiliated with the Red Army, he was so mad. Tom ended up confronting him, that turned out to be a horrible idea. Tord used his robot to destroy the house for his own sadistic needs, he wanted to see their lives absolutely crumble to the ground. That was until Tom decided to strike Tord down with a harpoon. After the crash, Tord was burned from his robot exploding, his nerves in his arm had burned off, so he had to get his arm amputated and get a prosthetic. Post The End, Mykola shows up to the Eddsworld house in uniform to check on Tom; they never agreed to the plan of blowing up the Eddsworld house, but Tom didn’t believe a single bit. He saw that uniform and immediately just left them. Mykola was scared of facing the others, so they lived with Tord during his recovery. Mykola didn’t handle breaking up with Tom very well and ended up spiraling into a severe depression. They started drinking, smoking weed, in general doing very harmful things. Tord tried explaining that Tom wasn’t the right person, but Mykola didn’t take his advice knowing their history. Tom, Edd, and Matt got a new apartment, 2 bedroom 1 bathroom. Edd and Matt shared a room since they both knew Tom needed space after breaking up with Mykola. 2 years later, they contacted Edd and explained the whole situation. Edd understood that they were innocent and didn’t intend on harm, and so after a lot of thinking he welcomed them with open arms into the new apartment. Tom and Mykola had to share a room, against Toms own will. He refused to talk to them for a few weeks, until he came clinging to them one night while drunk, this was a reoccurring act and really hinted that he really misses Mykola. Eventually, Tom admitted this and apologized. They took some time to talk and all, after a few months, they started dating again.

..meanwhile..

Artem had spent the rest of his teenage years in school, and also attended a college to study chemistry even further. Her motive was finding out Katzen wasn't his real mother, so he is driven to find out who their real mom is. Soon, they got a job as a chemist. after a few weeks, she thought he was getting the hang of it. Well, that was until Artem fell. His head hit the table and a glass of acid spilled all over them. She was rushed to the hospital and given immediate treatment.

WTFuture

Mykola Arc

Mykola and Tom got married and lived a happy, normal life. Years later, Mykola found that Ukraine was under a severe war against Russia and decided to try and run for leader of Ukraine, and it went successfully (aka the former leader died). They developed an army and a chemistry force involving their sibling Artem and best friend Grace, they called this army The Gray Rebellion. They eventually took over Russia, now owning the largest country on earth. Due to Mykola starting to get power hungry, Tom filed for divorce since this was heavily effecting the relationship. Mykola had said harsh things they really didn’t mean, and it had hit them that they just wasted all they had over being greedy and so selfish. Mykola went on a walk in the rain to clear their head from all of the battle plans and training new troops. They walked into an alleyway to settle down until they dropped their umbrella hearing a baby crying. They decided to run towards the sound and came across a box. That box contained a baby little girl, so they took her home to take care of her. They decided to hold off on the battle plans to take care of this baby they named Mira. Eventually, they got back to their battle plans while taking care of Mira. Years later, They had to start preparing for battle because they had just found out that Tom started his own thing and is now declaring war on The Gray Rebellion. Mykola met up with Tom, making sure none of them brought weapons. They tried talking him out of it but Tom didn’t listen. After the conversation, Mira came running to Mykola complaining about wanting to go home. Tom looked so confused at first and asked about Mira, and they calmly responded, “this is my daughter.” Tom thought this was all ridiculous because they’re in such a huge conflict, even tried arguing but Mykola walked away because they were already under pressure of battle plans. Months later, during war, Tom and Mykola end up in their own battle in a snowy forest, they’re both trying to get their hands on each other until Tom whips out a harpoon gun. Mykola is fueled with fear now because they’re wondering who will take care of Mira, so he takes a few steps back. That until Mira is in the forest looking for them. She snuck out of the army base despite outside being freezing. Mira saw the situation and ran to Mykola. She hugged them and begged nonstop to Tom not to shoot them. Tom lowered the harpoon. Mykola and Tom both declared war to be over and took about a few years in therapy to work out their relationship once again, and eventually getting married again.

Red Leader Arc

Tord moves all of his army operations to Norway along with soldiers who still wanted to work under the Red Army. He becomes leader of Norway and takes the title Red Leader. His plans are successful, and everything is running smooth. But, he's still not happy; He misses Edd. He is cold-hearted and insane, but despite his brain injury, he's still in love with Edd to the point of obsession. Paul and Patryck pick up on this behavior and decide to plan. They both go to the United Kingdom and kidnap Edd, they also kidnapped Matt since he was a witness. Paul took them both back to Norway, and brought Edd to Red Leaders office while Matt is taken elsewhere to test their brainwashing technology on him, it was successful and Matt had become a soldier in the Red Army. Red Leader arranged a big wedding for him and Edd. During the wedding, he proposed that if Edd tried to leave, he would kill all of his friends, and if he tried to kill him, his army would hunt him down. This lead Edd into only having Red Leader in his life, misery. Red Leader was incredibly manipulative as he would act like his old-self before his brain injury. He would act on for days before crumbling all of that down all over again. Eventually, Edd started to be sneaky and stole Red Leaders time machines that he had been working on for the past year. He traveled back to 2010 to kill his past-self to spare himself from the future he has to face with Red Leader, but it went unsuccessful as Matt traveled back in time aswell with Red Leader's spare time machine device and took him back. When Edd traveled back to the present (aka future), Red Leader destroyed the time traveling devices to prevent any more time travel. One day after having been struggling with feeling like he just couldn't do more than what he was, as well as reaching his full potential, he realized that something had to be subconsciously stopping him. So, he starts planning a device that would get rid of whatever that block was. His head injury did change his personality, but surprisingly, his old self was still there, just shoved into the deep parts of his brain. the remains of his old self, still wanting to be with Edd lovingly and be friends with Matt and have a good relationship with Mykola; and not nearly as evil That was what was stopping Red Leader. His "loyal" soldiers had taken note of the fact that he had been growing more mad with power, and started acting more offensive rather than defensive towards other countries, and with the fact that they had already begun to wonder what would happen after his plan of world domination was fulfilled; they decided to start planning to kill him. Since Edd couldn't actively participate, with Paul, who was the guard of Red Leader and Edd's room, giving Edd notes written on napkins that came with his food, since he couldn't actively participate due to Red Leader watching over him like a hawk. Edd wrote back, and informed him that Tom was in Ukraine, and was the leader's husband, so they assigned communications with contacting him and Mykola, and had given the chemical team the task of making a chemical that would in capitate Matt, and make it so they could un-brainwash him, finally assigning the tech department in getting schematics of Tord's robot arm so they could get it off, since it was an extremely delicate yet dangerous prosthetic, like a bomb. The day came when all the plans lined up, they un-brainwashed Matt, contacted Tom and told him the date they were going to kill Red Leader, which was today, and Edd had started a fake escape plan to bait Red Leader into exposing himself so they could attack him head on. When the fight started, Tord was winning, but the soldiers started turning the tides as more volumes swarmed him. Right when he was needed, Tom bursts in, and started fighting with Edd and Matt, as they decided to just chuck him onto Red Leader to rip the robot arm, to which he did after being faked out with his prosthetic, as he started bleeding out, he ran outside and tripped down the stairs, collapsing while being mauled at the steps of his very own statue, and eventually getting knocked unconscious, resulting in Red Leader subconsciously dying. As people started to walk away knowing they were free, suddenly, Tord's old self was able to gain control of his body again, and started jumping for joy, and very quickly had to explain to Edd, pleading that it was really him, and Edd could tell, because he was crying, Red Leader never cried; so they hugged, Tord quit the army, resigned as leader of Norway, they all got together, and rebuilt the house; also including a room for Mira, since Mykola and Tom were sleeping in the same bed. Even though Mykola would mostly be in Ukraine, it's still nice to include them. They all lived happily.

I'd like to thank Grace, again, for helping me write some of this and also giving me ideas!! She made my desired ending of wanting to keep everyone alive come true instead of having to kill off a character in the end, and I can't thank her enough!!
