Hi everyone, I'm Jeremy, or Jensen or a long list of other names. I have a fractured sense of self. Welcome to my longwinded extended. "Another one? How many do you need?" I have a crippling fear of being misunderstood and go out of my way to get my point across to people. Why should it be any different here? This whole page sounds extremely blunt because I wanted to be as clear as possible, but don't let that fool you. I actually don't text like this, believe it or not.
I recently turned 21 against my will but know that skill, emotional, and mental regression is prevalent in me. My mental capacity does NOT reflect my age, nor should YOU expect it to. That said, I’m not one of those people who treats mental illness like a free DLC pack for being weird as hell with zero accountability. I can acknowledge that my brain is cooked without acting like that suddenly removes my ability to understand boundaries, consequences, or basic human decency. Two things can coexist at once: I can struggle mentally while still being responsible for the way I treat other people.
As for gender and sexuality, I also don’t really do the “simple label for easy filing system” thing. I know that’s inconvenient for people who like everything neatly categorized, but unfortunately I did not come with a user manual or a dropdown menu of approved identities. Sometimes I describe myself one way, sometimes another. Guy, woman, gay guy, lesbian, something in-between or none of the above depending on the moment and context. It shifts, and I’m not particularly interested in freezing it into one fixed, digestible version just to make it easier for other people to understand. If someone needs a single, stable label to feel like they’ve “figured me out,” they’re probably going to be disappointed, because I’m not interested in narrowing myself down to a myopic interpretation just to make it more convenient for them.
I'm riddled with disorders if that wasn't clear already. I'm autistic, just like every other rentry user, and cursed with severe anxiety and paranoia (is it paranoia if they're REALLY out to get you?). I'm also a DID system host, the unfortunate ringmaster of this fucked up circus. Wait, where the fuck are my monkeys. The only reason I’m listing any of this is because it affects how I interact with people on a day-to-day basis. It’s context, not an invitation for commentary, analysis, or weird assumptions. You don’t need a full medical breakdown of me to understand how I think or behave online. I’m not doing the 2020 oversharing diagnostic autobiography thing where everything gets turned into discourse or weaponized. Let's all practice internet saftey, ok?
I’m not really confrontational about much, I like to keep my cortisol low. If I think your opinion is below room temp IQ, I’m not going to argue, I’m just going to block you and move on. I’m not getting paid to educate strangers online, and I’m definitely not interested in turning every interaction into a back-and-forth debate. And no, I’m not entertaining the idea that every disagreement is some kind of coordinated moral crusade against me. It’s really not that deep. If you’re upset with me over fictional preferences or character dynamics, that’s your business! Just don’t make it mine.
Also, can people stop projecting entire narratives onto me based on like… two sentences of information? It’s getting a little exhausting. Not everything is a coded message or a hidden agenda, sometimes it’s just words on a screen.
Anyway, with all that said, I am actually really nice, and I DO give a fuck about people. I don’t really operate from a place of wanting harm or hostility toward people; even when I’m annoyed, overwhelmed, or joking around online. I just don’t have much patience for unnecessary cruelty, harassment, or people turning everything into a fight for no reason. I genuinely care about people, even strangers, even the ones I’ll never interact with properly. I like seeing people exist, I like hearing what they think, I like when people are allowed to just be themselves without getting torn apart for it. So yeah. I love people. All of you, even if we’ve never spoken. Yes, you too. Try not to make it weird. More shit here → Main, Notes, Atabook.
