ASUS RAID TUTORIAL
Intel Motherboard create RAID
- Power on the system and press “delete” key to enter BIOS [EZ Mode],check the connect drive in Storage Information
- Press F7 key and enter [Advanced Mode].
- Click [PCH Storage Configuration] item on Advanced page
- [SATA Mode Selection] item and set to [Intel RST Premium With Intel Optane System Acceleration(RAID)].
click [M.2_1 PCIE Storage RAID Support] and set to [RST Controlled]
Click [M.2_2 PCIE Storage RAID Support] and set to [RST Controlled]
- Click [Boot] page and set [Launch CSM] item to [Disabled]
- Press F10 key and click OK then the system will auto reboot
- Press “delete ”key after the system reboot and enter BIOS [EZ Mode]
- Press F7 key and enter [Advanced Mode] as below picture
- Click [Advanced] page and click [Intel(R) Rapid Storage Technology] item
- Click [Create RAID Volume] item
- Set a random RAID name and choose RAID Level: RAID0 or Volume if available.
- Select All Disks Available!
- Click [Create Volume] to create RAID
AMD Motherboard Create RAID
- Power on the system and press “delete” key to enter BIOS [Advanced Mode]
- Click [Advanced] page and click [SATA Configuration] item
- Click [SATA Mode] item and set to [RAID].
Set M.2 Storage RAID to [Enabled].
- Click [Boot] page and set [Launch CSM] item to [Disabled]
- Press F10 key and click OK ,then the system will auto
- Press “delete” key to enter BIOS [Advanced Mode]when the system reboot, click [Advanced] page and click [RAIDXpert2 Configuration Utility] ite
- Click [Array Management]
- Click [Create Array] item, if its unavailable to click, make sure to click [Delete Array] and then try again to create your array.
- Click [Select RAID Level] item and set RAID level: RAID0 or Volume if available.
- Click [Select Physical Disks] item
- Select all disks and set to [On] ,click [Apply Changes] item
- Click [Create Array] item
Raid volume has been created.
