Shooting Kim Ye-ji wins silver medal in World Cup 10m air pistol event

Kim Ye-ji (Imsil County Office) won a silver medal in the women's 10m air pistol event at the ISSF World Cup.

Kim Ye-ji (32, Imsil County Office), a member of the national shooting team, won a silver medal at the International Shooting Federation (ISSF) World Cup.

Kim Ye-ji won a silver medal in the women's 10m air pistol at the 2024 ISSF Baku World Cup Shooting Competition held in Baku, Azerbaijan on the 4th (Korean time) with 241 points, following Kamil Djedrzywski (France, 243 points).

She ranked 4th (579 points) in the main draw and advanced to the finals where 8 people competed. Kim Ye-ji improved her ranking with stable performance.

Yeji Kim plans to compete in the 10m air pistol and 25m pistol categories at the Paris Olympics held in July.

Yang Ji-in (Korea National Sport University), who also made it to the finals, placed 5th, and Oh Ye-jin (IBK Industrial Bank of Korea) placed 10th in the finals and failed to advance to the finals.

In the men's 10m air pistol event, Wonho Lee (KB Kookmin Bank) placed 4th in the finals and unfortunately did not win a medal.
