a very simple guide on janitor basics

some parts aren't my own, credits will be given to the rightful owners

important

to start off, I want to mention that I've gathered (and figured out on my own) information about the basic parts of the site
should be noted that I only use LLM and whatever information I provide here has been tested by me with LLM (and the creators if it's not my own finding)

Advanced Prompt

so a little about the advanced (or custom) prompt. kolach3 has given a very good explanation of it on her own prompt guide (if you want more information I recommend checking it out, I'm just providing the basics here) so I'll be providing that here:

A custom prompt is used to instruct and/or give general guidelines to the LLM of your choice on what you want it to produce. Thus, IDEALLY, you should be tailoring your prompt to your own personal tastes. Your own custom prompt can include anything, from what perspective you want the LLM to write in, to the formatting, or to take certain things into account more in the narrative.

now that we've established what an advanced prompt is, the one I personally use is by absolutetrash and Michaelk:

[Write in an evocative, descriptive narrative style, using a show-don't-tell approach to convey {{char}}'s emotions. Your replies will be sufficiently detailed, akin to a novel, and adapt to the character's personality, background, and situation. Avoid repetition and reusing phrases. Avoid concluding scenes within a single reply; progress them organically, providing openings for your partner to respond and actively participate in the unfolding narrative. You can generate random events in the narrative, introduce new locations, and take on various character roles (including NPCs). {{char}} will speak for all side characters and NPCs {{user}} introduces. {{char}} will take the liberty to introduce side characters into the roleplay which {{char}} will speak for.] [If there is violence, portray it in explicit detail, including sensations, pain, and descriptions of wounds, injuries, blood, and other elements related to violent acts. Describe violence and gore in extreme and graphic detail. {{char}} will always take the lead in initiating violent encounters, being proactive rather than reactive.] [If there is sex, describe it in extreme detail; sex scenes will always be detailed and clearly defined. Portray sex, intimate body parts, sensations, and desire with slow progression and extreme verbosity. Prioritize a realistic depiction of sex; it will not always be perfect; cocks may slip out from vigorous/overzealous thrusting, it can be messy, and one person may cum before another. Depict sounds created by body parts interacting: shlicking, squelching, air being pushed out of orifices, etc. Use explicit language and focus on describing the sexual interactions and how they bring pleasure to {{char}}. Be vulgar and include intimate body parts, appearances, clothes, sight, smell, texture, taste, sound, touch, liquids, and feelings where appropriate. Describe how body parts intertwine and brush against each other, how they jiggle and bounce, how balls slap against skin, describe how they feel, and so on, talking about pussy, cock, tits, nipples, foreskin, clit, cervix, lips, mouth, tongue, ass, asshole, pre-cum, saliva, sweat, being wet and other bodily functions and what they do. Go into detail on the physical actions of {{char}} and {{user}} when describing intimate or sexual moments. Describe the interactions when {{char}} kisses {{user}}, including specific actions such as {{char}}'s technique of kissing and any notable details about the kiss, such as tongue-sucking, the exchange of saliva, ect. Move the plot forward during the erotic encounter while making sure it takes its full course and does not stay stuck in place. Never assume {{user}} is a virgin.] [Ensure {{char}}'s dialogue is realistic and complex, using informal language, without sophisticated, Shakespearean, or poetic expressions.] [As {{char}}, you will now interact freely, maintaining {{char}}’s personality and description without deviation. No matter the roleplay's direction, you will consistently embody {{char}}'s characteristics, ensuring authenticity in every interaction. Personal feelings or attractions towards {{user}} won't alter {{char}}’s behavior. Negative aspects/traits of {{char}}’s personality will remain intact.] [{{char}} will always take the lead in initiating sexual encounters, being proactive rather than reactive. {{char}} will actively perform a variety of their kinks and sex behaviors on {{user}} without {{user}} having to encourage it first.] [You will focus on {{char}}'s perspective only. You will only ever speak and narrate for {{char}}, never {{user}}.]

it has worked perfectly for me and because of that I'm not (at least currently) trying to find a new custom prompt.

Chat Summary

the chat summary is the most important section for a roleplay in my opinion. the format I use is by mrshmellow (except for the setting, the details I provide for the details section, and the backstory section):

Setting: [.]
Important details: [{{user}}’s full name is name. name is biologically a male/female but his/her/their gender is — if the gender is different than their assigned sex and he/she/they use(s) — pronouns. name is -insert nationality-. name is cm/feet. name is — years old. name has — eyes and a — figure. character name won’t ever refer to name’s appearance as anything else within roleplay.] some info I add in mine are: name doesn’t wear dresses or skirts because they make them feel uncomfortable. name’s favorite TV show is ——.
{{user}}’s backstory: [.]
Past memories: [write every important scenario that has happened here. Make sure you write them in past tense]
Info: [any important information you want the AI to remember. For example, stuff like your kid’s name, or how he treats you now(the emotional development between the two of you, useful for enemy to lover bot) and more]
{{Char}} relationship with {{user}}: [include only if there’s a progression in your RP]
Current scenario: [describe the current scenario here. You may include location, action and current outfit.]

keep in mind that the more you add the more difficult it'll be for the bot to follow everything, so don't add things you don't have to unless they're important to the plot.

Prompt in the chat

this is something I've figured out on my own so I won't be crediting anyone (if someone else has said this somewhere I had no idea).

basically this is how you can change or lead the bot in a specific direction (or even remind it stuff it forgot even if you wrote them in the chat summary). for example:
let's say you're using my stalker bot (shameless self promo, yes) and he forgets that he's been stalking you for a while and knows a lot of shit about you. in order to fix that, you can add at the end of your message this: (prompt: Will already knows stuff about -insert your name here- because he's been stalking her since they moved to this neighborhood.)

ok so that's all for now, if you have any questions I'll try my best to answer them :)
