Operator: The SC Evo Complete Ladder Bot (“EvoLadderBot,” “the Service,” “we,” or “our”) is a community StarCraft II ladder operated by HyperONE on behalf of Team Koprulu for the SC: Evo Complete project.
EvoLadderBot is an independent, fan-made project not affiliated with or endorsed by Blizzard Entertainment.
Alpha Stage Notice:
EvoLadderBot is currently in Alpha testing, and these Terms, Policies, and features are subject to change as the Service evolves.
Participation in the Alpha indicates understanding that features, data, and moderation systems may be incomplete or unstable.
We make a good-faith effort to maintain operational integrity, but downtime, resets, or unexpected issues may occur during this phase.
Canonical Version Notice: These Terms and Policies may be provided in several languages. We make a good-faith effort to ensure the accuracy of these translations. However, the English-language version of this document is the only legally binding version.

Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of Terms
By using EvoLadderBot, joining the ladder, or accessing related services, you agree to these Terms of Service and the accompanying Privacy Policy and Refund Policy.
If you no longer agree to these terms, you must use the /termsofservice command and select "I Decline These Terms" to revoke your consent explicitly.
Failure to do so constitutes ongoing consent to these Terms.
Changes to consent status are logged. We make a good-faith effort to keep the /termsofservice command available. However, the Service reserves the right to restrict or remove accounts that exhibit abusive or inconsistent consent activity.
2. Eligibility
To use the Service, you must:
- Be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required by Discord in your region), and
- Comply with Discord's Terms of Service.
3. User Conduct
You agree to use EvoLadderBot and all related services in a lawful, respectful, and fair manner.
Without limiting this principle, you specifically agree not to:
- Engage in any form of illegitimate or dishonest play, including but not limited to:
- Using unauthorized in-game modifications or exploits, such as maphacks, resource hacks, or lag hacks
- Sharing accounts or soliciting, providing, or receiving account-boosting services
- Coercing, manipulating, inducing, or bribing opponents into falsely reporting match results
- Intentionally or negligently hosting ladder matches using unofficial maps, unapproved mods, or incorrect lobby settings
- Harass, threaten, abuse, or demean others, including but not limited to behavior that targets individuals or groups based on personal traits, identity, or beliefs.
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation within the ladder or associated communities, including but not limited to:
- Pretending to be a staff member, administrator, or official representative, or directly impersonating any such individual
- Using usernames, avatars, or tags designed to mislead others
- Falsely claiming to represent Team Koprulu, HyperONE, or affiliated developers or staff
- Post, transmit, or link to unlawful, offensive, or inappropriate content, including but not limited to:
- Hate speech, threats, or targeted harassment
- Pornographic, sexually explicit, or sexually suggestive material
- Excessive profanity, violent imagery, or graphic content
- Encouragement or depiction of self-harm, suicide, or illegal activity
- Scams, phishing links, or malicious software
- Use the Service to distribute spam, malware, or unsolicited communications.
- Exploit bugs, automation, or reverse engineering to gain unfair advantage or disrupt normal operation.
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation within the ladder or associated communities.
- Attempt to damage, interfere with, or gain unauthorized access to any systems, data, or accounts.
- Violate the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, or the rules of Discord or StarCraft II.
Violation of these rules may result in warnings, suspension, data removal, or permanent bans at the discretion of the administrators.
Administrators reserve the exclusive right to interpret and enforce these rules.
In all scenarios, including those not specifically covered by these Terms, administrators may take reasonable action to maintain fairness, integrity, or safety within the ladder.
3.1 Responsibility for User Behavior
We make a good-faith effort to moderate reports of user misbehavior.
However, we are not responsible for the actions, statements, or conduct of other users, nor for any harm, loss, or disputes arising from interactions between users on or off the Service.
3.2 Moderation Limitations
We strive to respond to reports and enforce rules as promptly and fairly as possible.
However, moderation decisions are made at our discretion based on available information, and we cannot guarantee uniform or immediate enforcement across all regions, languages, or circumstances.
Delays or perceived inconsistencies in enforcement do not constitute a waiver of these Terms or our right to act at a later time.
4. Ladder Data and Public Information
We store usernames, Discord user IDs, and match records to maintain ladder integrity and rankings.
Public leaderboards may display usernames and match data, but not Discord user IDs.
By using the Service, you consent to publication of competitive results for gameplay and archival purposes.
5. Administration and Enforcement
We may reset seasons, adjust ratings, or remove matches to preserve fairness and integrity, or after major incidents or updates which significantly affect the ladder. Administrative decisions are final.
6. Service Availability and Disclaimer
EvoLadderBot is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uptime, accuracy, or continuous availability and are not responsible for data loss, outages, or unauthorized access beyond our reasonable control.
7. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of California.
These Terms and Policies may be provided in several languages. We make a good-faith effort to ensure the accuracy of these translations. However, the English-language version of this document is the only legally binding version.
Privacy Policy
1. Data Collected
We collect and store only the information necessary to operate the ladder:
- Discord user ID and username
- Match records, timestamps, and MMR/ranking data
- User settings and preferences, such as races, vetoes, countries, and regions
We do not collect other sensitive Personally Identifiable Information (PII), such as real names, addresses, email addresses, or payment information.
2. Purpose of Collection
Data is used to:
- Maintain persistent player records
- Power matchmaking, rankings, and seasonal leaderboards
- Maintain system integrity and prevent abuse
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell or share user data. Limited processing occurs through:
- Discord API (identity and messaging)
- Supabase (database hosting)
4. Data Retention
We retain ladder and account data for as long as your account remains active or as needed for operational integrity and archival purposes. Users may request deletion via Discord. Deletion may result in permanent loss of ladder progress.
5. Data Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect stored data. However, no system can guarantee absolute security, and you use the Service at your own risk.
6. User Rights
You may request to view, correct, or delete data associated with your account. To do so, contact us through Discord (linked at the top of this document). We may require verification of identity before processing requests in cases of unusual user activity.
7. Cookies and Analytics
We do not use cookies or third-party analytics. If web analytics are added in the future, this document will be updated accordingly.
Refund Policy
1. Current Status
EvoLadderBot currently does not process any financial transactions. Refunds do not apply at this time.
2. Future Transactions
We intend to introduce paid features in a future release of EvoLadderBot. We will update this policy to include applicable refund terms and procedures when they become available.
3. No Obligation or Liability
Until paid features are introduced, we make no warranties or guarantees regarding refunds, payments, or purchases.
