NEURODIVERGENCE
ADHD
"Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder - A chronic condition including attention difficulty, hyperactivity, and impulsiveness."
OCD
"Obsessive compulsive disorder - Excessive thoughts (obsessions) that lead to repetitive behaviors (compulsions)."
ANXIETY
"Intense, excessive, and persistent worry and fear about everyday situations. Fast heart rate, rapid breathing, sweating, and feeling tired may occur."
SAD
"Social anxiety disorder - A chronic mental health condition in which social interactions cause irrational anxiety."
OTHER
ASD
"Autism spectrum disorder - A neurodevelopmental disorder characterized by differences or difficulties in social communication and interaction, a preference for predictability and routine, sensory processing differences, focused interests, and repetitive behaviors, which may include stimming."
SPD
"Sensory processing disorder - A condition in which multisensory input is not adequately processed in order to provide appropriate responses to the demands of the environment."
DEPRESSION
"A mood disorder that causes a persistent feeling of sadness and loss of interest. Also called major depressive disorder or clinical depression, it affects how you feel, think and behave and can lead to a variety of emotional and physical problems. You may have trouble doing normal day-to-day activities, and sometimes you may feel as if life isn't worth living."
BORDERLINE PERSONALITY DISORDER
"Borderline personality disorder (BPD) is a serious mental health condition characterized by frequent instability in relationships, self-image, or emotions. People who live with BPD may experience issues with identity, self-harm, impulsivity, fear of abandonment, and feelings of emptiness. They can also experience rapid mood changes that last from a few hours to a few days."

CHRONIC FATIGUE
"A serious, long-term, and debilitating illness characterized by extreme tiredness lasting at least six months that does not improve with rest. It significantly limits daily activities and often involves post-exertional malaise (PEM), where symptoms worsen after minor physical or mental effort."

CHRONIC PARANOIA
"a long-term, pervasive mental health condition characterized by unjustified, intense mistrust and suspicion of others. Individuals constantly believe they are being deceived, exploited, or harmed, leading to social isolation, hostility, and argumentative behavior."

CHRONIC ILLNESS/PAIN
"a long-term health condition, generally lasting one year or more, that requires ongoing medical attention, limits activities of daily living, or both. These conditions often cannot be cured but can usually be managed, with many persisting for life."
