2 girls walking in the forest, one shorter than the other, the girl dressed in blue has a worried look, while the one in brown seems to be having a good time.
“So where do you think this time traveler is going?”. Asks Mumei
“I’m not sure, humans are nefarious creatures after all, who knows what evil she could be doing”.
“I can’t deny that Kronii, but maybe you’re assuming too much of this particular human”.
“Well, in the first place, aren’t you the resident human expert? You know precisely why I have to be so careful about this”.
“Right, you didn’t seem very careful when she took the pocket watch”.
Kronii shoots a glare at the carefree girl. “In the first place, human bodies should not be able to resist the pressure of time travel, she should have been crushed the moment she stepped into my domain, how was I supposed to know she could just ignore laws of physics?”.
Now that was a good question, not the first time humans have done seemingly impossible things, going to the moon was pretty wacky too. “Maybe she just got used to it”. Says Mumei, certainly interesting how sometimes physics just don’t seem to apply. In the first place the existence of life is rather stran-
“You don’t just get used to that kind of thing. A human should simply be disintegrated when they decide to challenge the natural order of the universe!”.
A time travelling human barreling towards her goals, seems like someone that’s worth investigating, especially if she has the know how on how to piss off the warden of time.

2 girls travelling across a few reality bending portals.
“So, Mumei, what does being the guardian of civilization entail?”. Ask the bored Warden while she messes with some strange clock-looking device.
“Hmm, I’m not exactly sure, no one really came to tell me what I was supposed to be doing, in fact, what the heck does civilization even mean”. Says the pondering Guardian.
“I always just assumed it was humans making pottery or stuff like that, never really cared enough to learn about them”.
“Sure, but the concept of civilization is somewhat recent, modern descriptions come from French philosophers in the enlightenment period of Europe, but many other cultures had their own concept of civilization, mostly being a We are civilized and they are not! kind of deal”
“So is that why humans kill each other all the time?”
“No, I think they just like doing that”
“Oh”
“my guess is that civilization is a vague idea of a group of humans having a shared sense of culture and/or world view”.
“So how does that relate to you?”. The Warden deciding to return to the original point of the question.
“Eh, dunno, all I know is that I was born of humans, not sure when exactly thought”
“Alright then”
And just like that, it seems that the 2 girls have arrived at their destination, a large hall with a round table at its center, Kronii decided to bring the problem of the errant time traveler to a higher matter.

Council discussions are always a bother, either a chaotic discussion about things that absolutely do not matter, or mindless back and forth about things that slightly matter.
The girl with a small rodent at the top is currently dismissing the issue of the time traveler. “Why the hell does it matter that a human is messing around, that’s just what they do”.
“It matters because a puny human is blatantly breaking established rules of the universe! how do you not get that it’s a major threat to stability everywhere? At this point the Warden of time is almost shouting.
“I think humans should be allowed to explore the universe, learning is always a great experience, in fact, maybe we should be supporting them in their struggles”. The girl from the stars answers back to the Warden
“Humans are growing too fast, we ought to stop this human before she gets too uppity, that’s how humans are, always forgetting their place in the natural order of things, without my care they will end up killing themselves”. It was rare for the keeper of nature to agree on anything with the Warden.
The guardian herself seemed extremely disinterested, almost like she was not even there.
“MUMEI!”
“w-what?”
“You got the deciding vote this time, what do you choose?” says the Keeper in a motherly tone.
“Hmm, I don’t like being put on the spot like this, let’s do a coin flip, heads and we try to stop the human, tails and we just let her go”
“You can’t be seriously putting the fate of the universe in a coin flip” The Warden is incredulous. She tries to do her job seriously while these fools treat it all like it’s a game.
“Hoh, I really like your way of doing things Mumei, let’s then”. The rodent girl sees an opportunity to leave it to chaos, meaning she could interfere in the outcome, but it’s much more fun if you don’t.
And so, the Guardian flips a coin, the council sure is ambivalent in their way of doing things.
