Momochi Tamate's Character Profiles

Sane-chan-senpai is a bright, kind and a good senpai.

Gal games sure are fun!

I've only ever seen them in livestreams, so actually playing one feels fresh.
You never played them yourself?
There are games you can play on your phone too, y'know.
Nope.

If I had found games or anything fun that could be done at home,
I would've probably stopped going to school...

School is fun~
But that's not the case now!
I can feel a faint darkness coming from her once in a while.

p6

Momochi Tamate's Character Profiles

Tsukkun-senpai is gentle, wise and a good senpai.

What's that? A video game?
It's a gal game.

Ah, I know that.
It's that thing where you go out with girls and raise their dependency on you, right?

Ahahaha.
Ah.
Ahaha. I've only ever played military strategy games, so I must've gotten them mixed up.
I sometimes feel immense darkness coming from her.

p7

Momochi Tamate's Character Profiles

Tsuzu-chan-senpai is diligent, headstrong and a good senpai.

A gal game?

It's a game where you go on dates with your favorite type of girl.
Hmm hmm...
A game about romance, huh?

How lovely...

I feel an overwhelming light coming from her.
Aah~

p9

Zundoko Zundoko

p10

Haven't seen these two in a while. In an alternate timeline where the elite four didn't become friends, Tamate-chan probably would've hung out with these two.

p11

Nya~!!

p12

Bonus

Bon Appetit!!

Today's lunch is sandwiches~

Speaking of which,
do you know the origin of sandwiches?
Yummy~

They were invented by someone known as the Earl of Sandwich so that he could eat while playing cards.
Ah.
I've heard that too.

That's apparently a false rumor, though.
Eh? Is that so?

p13

That's what they said in my generation.
It's a generational thing?

What's your generation like, Tama-chan?
Erm.

My generation's probably the one that says "it's a pain when someone brings up the whole "Earl of Sandwich thing being a false rumor" thing every time they eat sandwiches".
Ah.
Sorry.

Sandwiches were invented by Earl of Sandwich faction
Sandwiches being invented by Earl of Sandwich is a false rumor faction
People who keep saying that sandwiches being invented by Earl of Sandwich is a false rumor are annoying faction

We're split across three generations.
I wonder what the next generation will think.

They'll probably be the generation that says "sandwiches are delicious♪".
Ah~ I'd be happy with that!
Me too.

p14

Today's menu: Sandwiches

By the way, Hana-chan,
do you know the origin of sandwiches?
?

They were created by an unparalleled card game lover named the Earl of Sandwich so he could strengthen himself while playing card games.
Heh~
Yummy.

I think that's a lie.
The cards would get all messy...
I guess so.
Today's menu: Bread with side dishes

Hey, Kamu~
Do you know the origin of sandwiches?
Yep.
The Earl.
Oh, that's my girl.

That's the common theory anyway.
Yep.

Whether it's true or not,
I don't think food should be eaten with just one hand.

Food should always be taken seriously.
Put your phone away, Eiko.
Aha.
Okay~

p15

Some say the origin of the word "sandwich"

comes from how anything except sand and witches
could be pressed together and eaten.
Heh~
Nope.

The "wich" in "sandwich" is spelled "w-i-c-h", so that's wrong.
Sandwich was the name of the land which the Earl of Sandwich governed.

Eh~?
He named himself after his land?

Craving the limelight<3

No, his actual name was different...

I guess it was all false rumors in the end.
That's a little disappointing.

Nope.
Don't worry.

The deliciousness of sandwiches is no lie.
Kamuri-chan...!

I can feel the bonds of the Delicious Sandwich Generation.
Delicious Sandwich Generation?

p16

It's the afterword. Just as I started typing this, the tension rod in my house fell down.

CRASH

That's the sound it made. At four in the morning. I tidied it up while feeling all flimsy. At four in the morning. It's been a few hours since then and my heart still won't stop pounding. I really am timid. At least it didn't happen while I was asleep.
As for why there was a tension rod, it was something I was going to use to hang up a clock or a calendar since I didn't want to make a hole in the wall, but it ended up damaging the wallpaper anyway. I'm very sad.
I didn't think I'd be writing such a sad afterword after a happy 13th volume. Life is just full of surprises.

But never mind what's going with my house.
When Kasane-san made her first appearance, I carefully drew it so that she wouldn't become the target of hate, but with Kasane-san's father, I carefully drew it so that he would be hated. Even though they're father and daughter.
Kasane-san's favorite food is the fried rice her dad makes.
Well then, thank you for reading this far. I hope you'll read the next volume too. Please look after me. My heart's still pounding.
A big thank you to everyone who's been reading this whole time, those who've sent in letters, those who picked up volume 13 on its own on a whim (why?), and my editors and printers who've supported me. I'll do my best.
Tokumi Yuiko
P.S. The treatment on the stars in everyone's eyes on the cover this time around is really cute, so I hope you'll take a look at the physical book!
