HOW TO USE SILLY TAVERN
You’re here because Chub Venus is sucky sucky. Great!!! So am I. Let’s explore the basic Silly Tavern's features together.
INSTALL
- Go to NodeJS and Download it.
- Back to SillyTavern and click on [Automatic Installation ...]. Do what they said.
USING
START
Find your folder
It will take a while to start, and even longer if there’s an update. I highly recommend you always stay up-to-date. Also, it will open Windows PowerShell, let it run in parallel while you’re using SillyTarven.
I hope you’ve managed to open SillyTarven. There are two important things to start with, and the socket icon will turn red to warn you when you haven’t added your API/Key.
API - Key - Proxy
Select your model, and paste your key in the Missing Key box. If you’re using a Proxy, click on Reverse Proxy and do the same, and you won’t need to fill in the Missing Key box anymore. DON'T FORGET TO PRESS THE [Connect] BUTTON AFTERWARD.
Chat Bot
I won’t go into detail on how to create a chat bot here, just download it from Chub, drag it from the folder, and drop it into the tab. Your bot is ready.
Configuration
Let’s start with Configuration. It’s in the top left corner if you haven’t opened it yet. Yes, it looks a bit overwhelming, right? Just like the first time you opened Configuration in Chub.
