Upgrade components
Upgrade components are items that can be put into armor, weapons trinkets and gathering tools to provide an additional benefit or bonus while the equipment is being utilized. They can be purchased from vendors or players, looted or obtained as rewards, or constructed with crafting materials. Upgrade items can be cosmetic effects, in addition to giving bonus attributes.
Upgrade components include inscriptions, enhancements and infusions. They are not generally available for general use and can only be applied to Ascended equipment or other weapons from the Factions campaign. You can recover infusions or inscriptions, as well as enrichments from your equipment using an Extractor Device or by salvaging using a Black Lion Salvage Kit, or Ascended Salvage tool.
Like other upgrade products Phoenix Boxes, unlike other upgrade items, can be traded while attached to the item they are upgrading, and they are able to be used again after they are salvaged. These upgrade items are the best option to boost quality of armor and weapon without spending Dilithium in the sense that they increase the likelihood of receiving a quality upgrade by two times.
Upgrade components can be added to an item but the previous one is destroyed (except for legendaries and upgraded equipment). Only upgraded items with an identification level of 0 or higher can be upgraded with upgrade components incorporated into them. If you add an upgrade to the weapon already equipped with a suffix or prefix upgrade, the item will be named in the same way as it appears on the game screen (for example adding a Radiant insignia to Canthan Armor transforms it into Canthan Armor Minor Vigor). A player can own up to three upgrade items at once.
Glyphs
Glyphs can be a great addition to any item. They offer unique advantages and boosts. Certain glyphs increase the number of affixes an item has, which increases the power of the item. These glyphs can be obtained by completing dungeons. They can also be located in specific World Tier 3 zones. It is important to note that glyphs are only available to players who have created a root-dungeon with the same depth.
To use a Glyph you must first create it using components and then connect them via anchors. Then the component will automatically align itself to other components and paths in the same layer. If you don't want create the glyph using components, you can build it by combining paths and anchors. Drag an element close to a component highlighted to snap it in place.
Certain glyphs require certain conditions to satisfy, like having 25 Dexterity or more in a specific region on the Paragon Board. Some also require a certain number of Primary Stat nodes to activate which is sometimes difficult to attain. Some glyphs have a radius that increases with each level.
item upgrader Cases gg can be used on a variety of weapons and items, with the exception for those belonging to a specific class. Certain glyphs have conditions for instance, having a certain number of dexterity or attack damage in a specific location on the Paragon board.
The Defend Glyph increases the chance of preventing enemy attacks by 5%. It also has a chance of 15%, making the Hero vulnerable for two turns.
There are also a handful of glyphs that can be applied to tools with limited-use capabilities, such as the Black Lion Chest or Trading Post. These glyphs are counted towards the Combat Mechanic Achievement.
The most popular glyphs are the attack glyphs which increase the ATK substats of Artifacts with a flat value. They are especially beneficial for classes that are ranged, such as Warriors and Rogues. Other glyphs include the Exploit Glyph which makes enemies who hit the Hero susceptible to damage.
Reroll tokens
Reroll tokens can be used to reroll results that are rolled during an Action. When the reroll occurs, they are thrown away. Reroll tokens can be gained through a variety of ways, including through the dungeons, raids, and skirmishes. You can also buy them at the shop or from other players. They are especially useful in dungeons and trials, because they let players reroll the rewards from the chest at the end.
Recycle point values are provided for items at the level 1. When recycle an item, it will add a specific amount of points to the upgrade gauge. The value varies depending on the item's value and rarity. Additionally the upgraded item won't keep its level after rerolling and the cost for recycling an upgraded item rises depending on the level of the item.
Alternately, players can use reroll tokens to make an upgrade item rerollable, but this will not bring the item back to its original state or give it its original statistics. This is useful for players who want to reroll an item they don't like but still would like to keep it in their collection.
There are three different types of upgrade tokens that are available in the game: reroll, random, and upgrade. Each type comes with a variety of subtypes. For instance, reroll tokens come in three different levels: rare, enhanced and legendary. Each level requires an item from its respective level to create a new item of that level.
To make use of rerolling tokens, select "Reroll Token" by right-clicking on the Satanic or Angelic items in your inventory. Then, select a kind of token. The available tokens include Item, Weapon, Misc, 1hgun, 2hgun and Focus. The Item token can be used to create a brand new Item in any quality. A Weapon or Misc token will create a brand new weapon belonging to the same faction.
There is also the possibility that the item will be upgraded to a new item with an increased level and the same extra stats. This will occur when the item is in the Pool that cannot be dropped or has been transferred to it as part of an Franchise Card.
