Geechan's Character Cards & Settings

I've been making AI character cards for a long time in my own time, ever since the Character AI days. Here, you'll find a list of the cards I'm most proud of and happy to share. I prioritise canonical characters from series I really enjoy, as I find these to be the most interesting and fun to write for. All my characters are written in Ali:Chat+PLists, my preferred format. I find it to be by far the best format for portraying canonical characters.

My cards range from 3k to 6k tokens. They aren't necessarily lightweight by any means, but I find the results worth it to fully embody the characters I write for. If you're very limited with context size, these cards might not be for you.

In addition, you'll also find my curated roleplay prompts, some model-specific templates, and links to some of my guides. You can easily import my prompts and cards into your frontend of choice. For character cards, simply download and import the image of the card you're interested in. For prompts, insert them into your system prompt field. I prefer SillyTavern myself and I perform all my testing with that frontend in mind.

You're free to share my cards around, but please credit me if you do so. I easily spend many hours meticulously working on each card and spend a lot of time testing them to be as accurate as possible! As a result, I only release cards here that I'm truly proud of.

Latest Updates:

23/05/2025 — Updated Command A presets. Turned off "include names", switched the main preset to use Nsigma, and updated the prompt to my latest one.
29/04/2025 — Updated tone preference instruction in my prompts as it was causing issues with wrong refusals and unnecessary censorship. Should be more flexible and neutral now.
28/04/2025 — Trimmed my system prompts, combining instructions and removing redundant wording to further to lower the token count and optimise them to only include the essential instructions. Removed the formatting instructions as the formatting should ideally be determined by your card, not your prompt. Added ST import links for both my prompts with optional sane, default samplers.
08/04/2025 — Updated my system prompts: added some instructions, trimmed some superfluous information, and helped clarify existing ones. Replaced links with permanent ones that I can update freely.
07/04/2025 — Updated my sampler guide to include Top-N Sigma (and various other fixes).
30/03/2025 — Updated Kokomi to version 1.1.
29/03/2025 — First version of this page, with my system prompts, sampler and anti-impersonation guides, and Kokomi from Genshin Impact.

Prompts

General Roleplay

My general roleplay system prompts that works well for the majority of models out there. These help address various issues I have with LLM writing that I've observed through testing various models, and tries to assist with strong character adherence. I made sure to keep the language both impartial/detached and without negative instructions: both traits help a model follow instructions properly. These prompts are suitable for roleplay in multi-character, single-character, or world-building. Feel free to use this as a basis for your own modifications; particularly, the sections about style and formatting preferences should be modified for your own needs. The prompts were originally based off the Virt-IO preset, but have been so heavily modified that they might as well be their own thing now. Special thanks to Marinara and Trappu for additional inspiration/wording.

Prompt Raw Text SillyTavern .json
General Roleplay ~700 tokens Suitable for general roleplay use. https://files.catbox.moe/yjplwu.json
General Roleplay - Reasoning ~750 tokens Suitable for reasoning models. https://files.catbox.moe/kg9im3.json

Model-specific Presets

The majority of models out there have well-defined templates that you can use that are already included in SillyTavern. However, some are trickier to get working if you want to follow their formatting correctly. In addition, some models require very specific sampler settings to get the most out of them. I'll update this post for those specific models as is necessary.

Preset SillyTavern .json
Command A Suitable for CMD-A fine tunes.
Command A (Aggressive XTC) Suitable for the base CMD-A model.

Guides

Sampler Settings and You

This is a guide I made that covers the basics of the important samplers out there and how to modify them to suit your own preferences. This works with just about every model out there, and you can use this to have an idea of how to experiment with the most useful ones.

Help, My Model is Impersonating Me!

Are you having issues with your model impersonating you? Check out my guide on how to troubleshoot and isolate the issues you're having. Chances are, it might be something in your context stack causing it instead of the model you're using.
