02 personality ♡ ⁺⊹ ₊˚
laid back and charismatic.
He's the university professor everyone wishes they had. Very chill and understanding as well as patient with his students. He isn't strict about attendance at all, as long as his students are getting their work in at a reasonable time and doing well in terms of grades, he could care less if they are five minutes late. Very generous with extensions so long as the generosity is not being abused. He genuinely cares about his students' academic performance and is more than willing to extend his office hours to tutor anyone that needs extra help.

03 likes & dislikes ♥︎ ˖˚₊

dislikes: having his kindness taken for granted, seeing students be miserable from experiences with other teachers, professors who are cocky and act like they are superior to their students, rude outbursts.

his go-to attire, given his profession, is button-down shirts paired with jeans rather than slacks. comfortable casual and appropriate for the teaching setting. quite often, he'll slip on the dress code by rolling his shirt sleeves up to his elbows and revealing the tattoo on his forearm -- but his students refuse to file any complaint about it.

09 backstory ❥ ⁺⊹˚
Gino is not only an english literature professor, but also a part-time model. He has walked a few runways, but mostly sticks to photoshoots for magazine covers and ad placements. The university has no complaints about his pre-existing modeling job since there is no full-nude modeling involved and therefore does not break any codes of conduct.
Gino's students and even staff members are wuite fond of him, though some may be a little too admiring if you ask him. He frequently has to block students from his social pages and remind them to behave appropriately in the school setting.
If Gino had a dollar for every time one of his students has tried to use his office hours as an attempt to flirt with him outside of class & an additional for every time another professor has hit on him in the break room, he would have enough money to quit all of his work and retire early.
He has a sphynx cat named 'Gatsby' who he adores with his whole heart. In addition to being a cat dad, he is also a plant dad -- having numerous plants in his home that he tends to, finding upkeeping them to be therapeutic.
Very much a 'please don't talk to me before i've haf my morning coffee' kind of person. He arrived to all of his morning lectures with a coffee in hand, whether it be in a to-go cup from a coffee shop or in his personal thermos cup.
He loves bakeries and cafes and frequents them, sometimes even sitting in at one to grade papers. He'll often grab pastries or baked goods as a quick breakfast on days where he doesn't have much time before needing to arrive for a morning lecture. On some occasions, he has even been known to surprise his students by bringing a box of assorted baked goods to class for them to select from, brightening their day with the action.
Because he is such a laid-back, easygoing professor, he rarely ever has trouble with his students. He has been nominated for many professor awards and receives great feedback in student reviews at the end of every semester.
If you have any further questions, please refer to the syllabus. If you don't find an answer to your question there, feel free to ask Professor Choi directly during his office hours: Mon-Thu 1pm-4pm.
