Kimiko Yuki was not what most would call a charitable person. She skated through life on luck and usually didn't stick her neck out for other people or take risks. All this would paint her in a pretty bad if not entirely innacurate light. But as she lay halfway up a tree with her vision narrowed to a cone trying to remember how she got here she couldn't help but give a dry laugh as she read the combat log.

[Morality Improved]
[Critical Hit Resisted]
[Saving Grace! You have miraculously survived with 1 HP!]
[You have taken 1 Kinetic Blunt damage from (Branch)]

[Constitution Roll: 60, Number greater than Consitution...]
[Luck Roll: 55: Number higherlower than Luck, You have been stabilized at 0/130 HP, Seek shelter!]

"Life is pain." She muttered looking at her now exposed midriff with a sigh. Technically the attack could have easily cut her in half. Vagrants weren't the most durable to begin with - Except for they had quite the roachlike tendancy to have a lot of constitution and luck just for this situation. Luck meant it was downgraded from a Critical and they had better odds on stabilization rolls - She actually wasn't sure if everyone had that mechanic. Maybe it was a unlisted passive of Vagrants or survivalists in general.

Wouldn't help if she had immediately fallen another branch down, or gotten hit again, but she wasn't going to complain as she bowed her head and muttered her prayer "[It's nice to visit the Heavens, but we didn't come to stay.]" as a small campfire appeared below her, a thin wisp of smoke raising to the sky before the protective bubble snapped into place. - She didn't plan to die after all this.

But about a minute after that the next update to the combat log remedied her concerns about any followup.

It seemed she wasn't needed to finish the beast in the end.
She gave a sigh as she felt her body recover piece by piece. Bones snapping back into their proper place and her rib deciding it had a better place to be than in the middle of her kidney. It was all dulled by the system but the movement felt gross nonetheless. Others might not have been so lucky.

She willed the protective bubble away, leaving the fire to curl its smoke into the sky, showing she was alright-ish. But she wouldn't return yet unless someone made her. Parties definately weren't her thing and funerals even less so. Infact she felt she earned a nap right here.
