Downloading
To download any of the repacks here, all you have to do is just use one of the file-hosts that are provided, which are currently Mediafire and VikingFile. Uploadhaven, KrakenFiles, and Pixeldrain are sometimes used on older links. These repacks have always been through direct-download only first and foremost, as I personally don't like managing torrents and seedboxes.
MediaFire
There are two ways of downloading via Mediafire, and that is through your browser, or a downloader manager like jDownloader2 or IDM. From my personal experience, Mediafire seemingly downloads a bit slower in the browser, so I do recommend using a downloader manager.
For split-part uploads, a download manager is absolutely recommended to make the process easier. Some links may require you to copy links one-by-one from Mediafires blue download button.
VikingFile
There are two ways of downloading via VikingFile, and that is through your browser, or by using IDM. jDownloader2 doesn't seem to work with VikingFile as of writing this.
Redirects/Ads
I have no control over any popups or redirects on hosts like Mediafire, which may try to redirect you to possible adware. It's 2025, get yourself an adblocker, and you will be fine. I haven't personally seen any weird redirects on Mediafire in a while, but ad-redirects are still a thing when clicking on something without an adblocker.
This main Rentry page itself will also have ads/redirects if you're not using an adblocker. I unfortunately cannot disable ads, as they're entirely handled by Rentry themselves. I personally have believed in a zero-ad policy ever since the original site, but obviously Rentry needs to do whatever they can to stay up.
Installing
You will need to extract the setup files from their archives in order to start installing. Any file archiver software should work, but I personally like using 7zip the best. For split-part uploads you must select all the files, and right click + extract. You cannot install any of these repacks without extracting their archives first, as attempting to do so will result in an error stating that installer cannot find any of the required .bin files.
After that, you can start the installation process by running Setup.exe. From there, you can choose where to install to, whether or not you want a desktop icon, and if you want less RAM/CPU usage during the install. It is recommended to always run the installer as admin to avoid any issues.
Unarc.dll -1 Error
-1 is usually an error relating to memory or a corrupted download.
- Make sure the directory your installing to only has English letters
- Make sure nothing else is taking up RAM resources while installing
- Make sure the drive you're installing to has enough space for both the game and decompression
- Try selecting "Limit Ram/CPU usage"
- Redownload the repack and extract again
- Restart your computer and try installing again
Unarc.dll -12 Error
-12 is a CRC error. This is sometimes related to a corrupted download or a filepath being too long, but can be related to a repack being broken in general.
I advise anyone to report back to me if a repack is throwing up a CRC error or an entirely different error entirely. I cannot promise instant troubleshooting however.
