It was hard pulling double duty as a household earner and a father.
Kronii was busy with Council duties, something you've frown accustomed to.
You're sitting on the park bench, trying to look as inconspicuous as possible. The last thing you wanted was one of the gossiping mothers accusing you of being some predator.
Krunny was playing in the sand box, obsessively digging out the sand like a dwarf and building a foundation to something.
Next to her was Lolirys, the daughter of one of Kronii's colleagues. Her parents were busy as well.
"Krunny! Krunny!" The little nephilim waved a plastic shovel above her head, trying to gain the attention of your daughter.
You can only smile as Krunny attends to her needs. She was a little depressive, but she had her heart in the right place
Except for the moments when her autismo tendencies flare up.
"KRUNNY THAT HURTS!" you dart up from the bench, running towards the sandbox. Other children and parents gasping and pointing in shock as your daughter tugs on Lolirys hair.
You pry her off, your daughter kicking up a storm. Little lolirys was sniffling, eyes running down her dirty sandy face.
"Krunny what are you doing?" you ask firmly, like a father should. Unlike your wife, you were the one who had the backbone when it came to your rebellious daughter.
"She took my secret stuffs!"
Ah, you understand. Krunny was very protective of her things, she especially hated when people used it without asking.
"I wasn't taking it! I was just looking! I'm sorry!" lolirys whined with a ragged voice, eyes red due to the tears and the stuck sand.
You place Krunny down, placing a hand on her head.
"See, she apologized. Now it's your turn Krunny." Krunny looks away for a bit, pouting
Her eyes, just like her mothers, meets with IRyS. She softens considerably, even frowning a little.
"I'm sorry..." Krunny walks forward, hugging a weeping Lolirys in a reconciliatory hug. There were some 'awwwws' and quiet clapping from the crowd who were watching
Being a parent was hard.
