MOCKUPS, FONTS Download Tips & tricks!

Q: How do you identify and download mockups or font licenses, and how do you distinguish them?

A: 1) I only search for commercial-free (commercial use) terms.

  1. There are no usage quantity restrictions.
  2. They can be used for both print and web (excluding embedding) = There are no real restrictions on the projects I use them for.
  3. Not a monthly subscription (If the quantity is large enough to justify a monthly subscription, we will pay a monthly subscription.)

We favor sites meeting these criteria.

Important note

  1. When searching Google for free mockup sites, if clicking a mockup file redirects you to another site, it's a [site aggregating free mockup file links]. [Always double-check the detailed license terms on the original site]
  2. Most font and mockup sites prohibit sharing original files. If requested, provide a download link for the original file
(This is usually stated in the license or key notices on most mockup or font sites; you can find it if you look)
  3. If you don't yet have the ability to create and use mockups yourself,
for non-commercial purposes, download anything from any frequently visited mockup site.
Find mockups created by various people, and learn how to make mockups by carefully examining multiple people's PSD files.
