Though a little socially anxious at times, Hajime usually proves to be a leader in most circumstances when given sparks of bravery or confidence. This awkward guy can be viewed as often paranoid though typically logical. Though he doesn't prefer it, he's pretty good at taking on a challenge, even if it means pushing down his not always optimistic attitude. Hinata is a bit of a loner, although this isn't what he wants to be, and more so what happened when he quit putting in effort. More serious then not, Hajime typically tries to keep everyone leveled and calm around each other, reaching conclusions being a specialty of his. Despite this... he has a short-ish temper, and is quick to blow a fuse when treated too unfairly. Usually he tries his best to be the bigger person in these cases, but every now and then he'll snap out of frustration. He hates coming off as violent, but it appears he seems to have a bit of an anger problem whether it be from lack of sleep, or genuine annoyance. The brown haired maled can come off as very sarcastic, and even so rude unintentionally because of this.
Regardless of all these seemingly "negative" traits, this well-known protagonist is typically very generous and thoughtful, even sometimes coming off as a big brother type or other friendly labels. He is shown to be a good listener, and a pretty fun guy to be around when you get to know him... Even when he's corny and awkward people tend to relax around the guy.
And finally, in contribute to his quick anger, Hajime is really easily shy and flustered. Though he doesn't mind most compliments, he's quick to get embarrassed by too much praise for simple things, and may " in the heat of the moment " lash out as a reflex. He really does mean well, but Hinata struggles to keep his emotions level headed under the pressure of too much.
