♡ Hello, my name is Dirk. If you're referring to me, use he/him pronouns and masculine terms exclusively.
♡ I'm an introject of Dirk Strider and the host of a DID system. For transparency’s sake: I was diagnosed with DID at seventeen. Yes, I am an introject of a Homestuck character. No, I do not give a flying fuck.
♡ I'm an autistic borderline, and I can occasionally be episodic. I don't expect you—nor want you—to help me with my mental health. It's my own responsibility; I'm in therapy for a reason.
♡ I reclaim slurs, make KYS/KMS jokes, and use potentially problematic humor. If that bothers you, I’m not the kind of person you'd get along with.
♡ I can be extremely verbose, though it's rarely on purpose. My tone regulation is godawful, so I may come off as an asshole when I'm just socially anxious. If I'm genuinely being a dickbag, call me out on it.
♡ I'm low-maintenance, and might disappear for a while without warning. Nothing against you personally—I just come and go when I need space or when executive dysfunction kicks in. I'm also extremely slow to warm up to people, no matter who you are.
♡ I'm in a committed relationship with my boyfriend Karkat. I spend a lot of time with him in person, which is usually the cause of me not being online for a while. Don't flirt with me. This shouldn't be something I have to bring up, but some people are ignorant.
♡ I don't believe in forming connections based on shared source material or “sourcemates”. This shouldn't shock you, but I'm not a fictional character, and I don't want to be treated as one. Be normal.
♡ Adding to the above, I don't believe in “doubles”. If you do, check your priorities and go outside. We are separate people living separate lives.
♡ If you are an active supporter of HS:BC or The Epilogues, we're unlikely to get along. I've read them thoroughly, and while I have my own opinions—both positive and negative—the fans aren't the type of people I want to associate with.
♡ Beneath the bullshittery, you might find I'm decent company. I like making people's lives a little easier when I can, though I tend to be polite at first. I usually chill out with time—just be patient with me.
