warning of sorts
I believe that most, if not all, media can be consumed and critically enjoyed. You can watch a show and not support the actions of the characters, creators, and fandom. That being said, I also do not enjoy "death of the author" as I get more joy out of knowing what kind of sick freaks made certain materials. As a person I do not support any of the creators of these medias, parts of the messages they are conveying, and I do not buy merch from them. Any and all my merch is either handmade by myself, others, or brought secondhand. For me having an interest in a piece of media does not mean I necessarily like it. Yes, I may enjoy it, but I enjoy many of the interests I absolutely despise. I can not control my interests. Lastly, if you are uncomfortable speaking to me about these topics you can tell me, choose not to interact with me, or even block me! The block button is and has been there to make your experience online better.

Hazbin Hotel and it's related / fan media
I fully understand that Vivziepop as a person has been horrible in the past, and still continues to be, but the shows she has made don't truly reflect that. Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss may handle certain topics badly at times, the writing may be bad, and it may overall be "cringe" to some. This does not mean no one can enjoy it. I have been in the Hazbin Hotel fandom since 2019, and have watched all the Hunicast streams during the making of it, so I am largely here due to having waited five years for it to come out. I am more interested in fan works such as HVRC, A2V, The Alastor Show, etc. I suggest you search them up on YouTube if interested.

Hetalia / Countryhumans / Countryballs
First I'd like to state that I am not racist. It is in fact very hard for me to be racist (people who are close to me will understand this </3). When I was younger I got into countryhuman animatics as a child, which I thought were just some sort of reenactmens but instead animated. I later got into Hetalia, but I didn't fully realize they were countries. I genuinely thought they all had fucked up names. Now I am slightly attached to this material, but I do not heavily engage with it due to the immense amounts of racism, xenophobia, and stereotyping in general. I personally believe consuming a short part every so often does not do any harm. The media you consume may form you, but it should not define you. Also, for the records, I am primarily black and asian. You don't need to know much more than that, but I have in fact experienced a lot of racism in the short time I've been alive.

Ouran High School Host Club
Nowadays I see the misogyny and transphobia that the show has in it. OHSHC to me is a parody of the kind of anime it portrays. The twincest is a performance in the show as it is literally seen that the twins... perform! This show in fact helped me discover more about myself and my identity. From what I've seen online a lot of people have had this experience, which is great, but it doesn't take away from the fact that it still has a lot of problems. The most one could do is not support it. The characters are well written, story structure is nice, and it's just a funny show. To me there's not much else.
