Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum Combos
The majority of robot vacuum and mop combinations can be customized using a specialized application. You can save maps of your home, create cleaning schedules and choose mopping modes. They also allow you to alter suction power and fine-tune the amount of water and the scrubbing action of your mop.
A mapping function will help your robot navigate around rooms. An obstacle avoidance feature will stop it from running into furniture, wires, or stray toys. These features are vital in my home that is filled with toys.
1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the flagship mop and vacuum, which is why it's a natural choice to be with a host of features. It can mop and sweep simultaneously, and can even raise its mop pads or brushes so that soft surfaces don't get too wet. It can also see and avoid obstacles, thanks to the ability to identify pet toys, plants and other small objects.
The robotic vacuum has a suction power of 6,000 pascals which is more than any other robot vacuum we've tested up to now. It also has PreciSense LiDAR navigation to track its position, which helps prevent it from getting stuck on objects.
Its mopping functionality is also impressive and the S8 Pro Ultra able to apply a constant pressure of 6 Newtons to the mop pad, resulting in a deep clean. It also features an automatic mop lifting system, that will raise the pad as it moves from tile to laminate, hardwood to carpet and rugs, thereby avoiding the possibility of soaking these soft surfaces.
The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing and self drying features. The pad can be cleaned and heat-dried within the dock and the dust container will get emptied and automatically returned to it. This means you can leave it in place and forget it, and only need to clean the dust bag and refill the water tank every now and then.
All of this is powered by a 5,200mAh lithium-ion battery. The S8 Pro Ultra ran on its standard vac- and mop-settings for approximately 160 minutes before it started to run out of power, and then returned to its base to recharge. This isn't too far off of the 180-minute time that Roborock claims and is in line with other hybrids that I've test.
It's a well-rounded and capable product, with the only downside being that it's expensive. Its sheer number of features makes it a very attractive option for anyone looking to replace their old mops and stick vacuums. If you are able to justify the cost we strongly recommend checking this one out.
2. Dreametech L10S Ultra
The Dreametech L10S Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a high-end combination. Its premium price tag is justified by its impressive feature set, which includes an impressive vacuuming capacity as well as two gyrating mop mops. It also comes with a smart, app-enabled controller and a mighty obstacle avoidance technology.
The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuum and mop combos available with a suggested retail price of 999 euros. In my tests, it did well across all areas of the house, removing 98.4 percent of the debris on all floor types and managing to lift long hair without getting caught in. The mops also performed well and produced excellent cleaning results with less effort than mid-range models due to their rotational motion and the powerful cleaning solution.
The docking station is the main selling point of the L10S Ultra. It's multifunctional and sophisticated. The docking station empties the trash bin into a bag to collect dirt, then refills the water tank to mop and also dry mop pads. It features a real-time risk detection system, and its intelligent controls allow you to schedule periodic cleaning sessions.
The L10S Ultra does not offer better performance for removing carpet debris when compared to the other hybrid vacuum mop I tested. The mops in the L10S Ultra are not as effective in removing stubborn staining as the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.
Despite the L10S Ultra's top-of-the-line features, it requires regular care and maintenance. Its base station has to be cleaned, and the dustbag and water tanks should be cleaned, empty and dried regularly to avoid unpleasant odors and mildew. The mop pads sold separately will require replacement every few months.
I would recommend the L10S Ultra to anyone with the money. If you're on a budget I suggest a more basic model that allows you to save money and still enjoy hands-free cleaning in your home. It's worth noting that even it's true that the L10S Ultra is the best robotic vacuum and mop combination you can buy however, its cost and maintenance costs will ultimately make it more of a wish than a need.
3. Eufy S1 Pro
Eufy S1 Pro is the robot vacuum and mop that you need to clean up messes and get rid of dirt from your floors. This high-powered mop and robovac combo packs an impressive 8,000 Pa of suction power as well as a massive battery capacity for both mowing and vacuuming, and top-notch obstacles-avoiding. It has a roller-mop that cleans itself, making it stand out from models which require you to return to the base station to wash off the mop pad.
The S1 Pro has a unique mopping system that is a departure from the spinning discs and microfibre pads found in other robots. The roller covers the entire length of the robot and it receives a constant supply of fresh water that is filtered and ozonated from the dock. When it turns the roller, it scrubs your floors while soaking up dirt, and any dry debris is removed by the side brushes, or swept into the front colision bumper. The S1 Pro dumps dirty mop water into its base station, where it is sucked in by the heater elements of the tank and emptied into a larger storage container. The tank onboard can hold a good amount of water, and can take on up to a dozen mopping sessions before rushing out.
The S1 Pro comes ready to use right out of the box as do other robotic vacuums and mops. The S1 Pro needs to be filled with clean water. This is easily done in the cleaning dock. You can also add cleaning solution to the dock, in case you want to have the option of using your own cleaner. If you decide to use this feature however, you'll have to purchase the Eufy-branded cleaning solution which is more expensive than other robot brands allowing users to select their own choice of cleaners.
The S1 Pro performed well in the coverage and efficiency of navigation tests, as did most robots. It was quick to map the space and navigated around furniture. The only issue is that it was stuck a few times on larger pile carpets and rugs during my tests, but this may be fixed when the software is updated. The S1 Pro is an all-in-one robot that has a lot of functionality at an affordable price.
4. Roborock Qrevo
The Qrevo is Roborock's cheapest mop and vacuum. However, it still offers some impressive features. The dock's multifunction emptying the robot's dirtbag, refilling its water tanks, and washing and sanitizing mop pads is handled by the dock. The mopping system itself is capable of cleaning a good bit of a space before returning to its dock, and the vacuum's extreme suction is capable of removing dirt and pet hair on carpets.
The application that runs the appliance is complex, and offers a variety of options to customize the cleaning process. You can clean manually every area that is that this device maps or select individual rooms, expandable zone, or a routine you've created. SmartPlan is one of the mopping options. It makes use of the sensors on the mop to map the area and determine the most efficient method to clean it.
Like the other Roborock models we've tested The Qrevo is a great performer in our tests. Its navigation system is robust, mapping rooms quickly and cleaning them in a neat fashion. The 'Normal' setting for pathing does a great job of covering a room, leaving no major gaps or missed areas. Reactive Tech's hazard avoidance works well, however it's not as sophisticated as color camera systems on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It can detect hazards like carpets with thick padding, but may not be able recognize smaller items such as electrical wires and rug tassels.
The most obvious flaw with this model is the absence of a mop-after-vacuum option that could be a problem for those who do a lot of vacuuming before cleaning their robot. Fortunately, there's a simple alternative: the app has the option to "clean up" at the end of each vacuuming session. robot vacuums cheap lets you utilize the mopping feature of the vacuum to get rid of the last traces of dust and debris that are left behind by your vacuuming. It's a nice feature, and it helps the robot to get rid of a bit better than its cheaper rivals.
