LIONEL HENRY "LEO" BUCKINGHAM THE 3RD

Lionel Buckingham grew up in the richest parts of London, spoiled beyond any imaginable desire that any child could have. However, far from growing snobby and pompous, young Lionel grew restless. He picked fights in school, targeting those that bullied others and leaving them with unexplainable burns, he periodically escaped the mansion to go off on adventures late at night, he had his fun with girls, but overall... Leo, as he wished to be called by others, loved nothing more than a good night ride on his bike, and a good fight.
Finding his behaviour unexplainable, Leo's parents turned to the best doctors and masters he could fight. It was one of these masters, a Qi expert, that found Leo's issue: he had been born with innate talent for martial arts. Specifically, he had developed a mutation known only as the EX Factor: a power that manifests as mysterious flames, under the control of the user. These flames can boost Leo's moves, or act as projectiles, and they rely on his stamina during a battle. With the right charge, Leo can perform his patented EX Moves.

A fast, acrobatic and balanced moveset that Leo developed with his master's guidance over many years. Leo calls it the Lion Fist Style: a mixture of taekwondo, kyokushin karate and tiger style kung-fu. Leo uses swift kicks and cat-like palm strikes, rushing in wildly with blinding speed, but showing restraint when necessary. He can always wind back and use his patented Heat Shot from afar, a Qi technique that sends a wave of Qi flames at the opponent. Up-close, the Lion Claw is a powerful single blow that strikes the opponent with intense flames, and finally, airborne opponents may fear the King's Row Slash, a technique involving a high-flying, searing, slicing kick.
With enough charge time, Leo can mix his techniques into his ultimate move: the Bristol Buster, an all-or-nothing desperation move that unleashes all of his ki into a single explosion. He will absolutely place almost all of his stamina on it and he WILL be pretty much done if he misses it.

Standing Out
Flashy Taste
Leo's a sucker for biker culture and he loves his leather jackets. Although his red and white outfit is his main one, he's got a few others, and he uses his allowance to buy custom-made leather jackets with elaborate back stitchings. His cocky attitude and flashy moves complete the picture of a young man who loves style over all, and wouldn't want it any other way.
Role
Vigilante
Leo doesn't care about being a hero in the books, or getting paid for it. He has enough money as it is. Leo's in it for fun, and those who are caught in the crossfire will be saved quickly just so he can get back in the fight. He's a trash talker, an overconfident witty kid, and he doesn't care what the actual heroes think of him. As long as he's having fun and only those that deserve it are getting hurt, he's happy.
Ideals
An Idealistic Core
Wrapped up in a life of luxuries, and with the crushing expectations of his parents to continue the Buckingham lineage, Leo only cares about one thing: having fun. The lion-maned daredevil loves fast bikes, pretty girls and tough fights, the tougher, the better. A good fight is all Leo lives for: the adrenaline, the self-improvement, the rush of landing a blow -- or taking one --, the literal fire inside him that bursts out and leaves opponents reeling. Why does one have to sign up to an entity like the Hero Association to go in and punch the jaw off of a superpowered asshole? Why not just go for it? Fuck the protocol, fuck bureacracy! He's got enough of it back home. Leo will get in whatever fight he's found himself in front of, close it out with style, and hang with the fangirls at the club after. And hell, those heroes seem pretty strong too! Why not fight them too? Leo's in it to solve the Ultimate Question -- no, he wants to be the answer! Groovy, innit?
