IxC999 coining disclaimers and permissions

Directory

While we do not have a DNI per se regarding our terms as a whole, we still have certain boundaries regarding how people interact with those terms outside of identifying with them and interacting with their coining posts (which have no DNI save not to involve them in discourse/mockery/etc.). We also have preferences for how we are credited if you are uploading our terms elsewhere.

♪ ♪ ♪

We have the following restrictions on minors:
☆ You may NOT use ANY of our kink-related terms.
☆ You may NOT use any terms that INHERENTLY refer to substances that are generally illegal for someone your age to consume.
☆ You MAY use terms that refer to "altered states of consciousness" IF you are referring to it induced by something other than drugs (and IDEALLY you would clarify this if listing it publicly)
☆ You MAY use addiction-related terms IF you are using them to refer to addiction for something that is legal for you to engage in (it does not matter as much to us if you clarify the subject of your addiction in this case).

We understand that there are minors who are interested in kink and who do drugs. However, we are not comfortable with minors using our content to broadcast those facts about themselves.

For adults who are concerned about viewing NSFW content, the descriptions of our kink-related terms are not graphic, descriptive, or sexual.

We have the following preferences for people uploading our terms elsewhere.
☆ Anyone can post our terms to anywhere other than radqueer archives, with or without credit (ideally with; if you post without credit, though, be prepared to credit if people ask where it’s from). This includes posting our systerms to Pluralpedia!
☆ But if you repost it, please include the full description of the term if possible so that people can have as much information about it as possible.
☆ If uploading our plural terms to Pluralpedia, please credit the term/flag as having been made by Local Void.
☆ Additionally, we post all of our terms to our Pinterest account - they can be found here (genders) and here (systerms) - so there is no real need to repost them to that site in particular.
☆ Anyone can make any edits with our flags. We don’t approve of them being used to communicate anything bigoted, abusive/pro-contact, or pro-radqueer, but we also know we can’t stop anyone from doing that.
☆ Anyone can sell merch of our flags, with or without crediting us as the coiners of the term.
☆ Anyone can redesign our flags so long as they do not claim to be the original coiner of the term and attribute the term’s coining to us.
☆ If you like one of our genders but don’t identify with a certain part of it (e.g. the gender alignment, the animal used in it, etc.), you can do any of the following:
-coin your own gender that copies ours but has the edits you want
-request that another blog coin such a gender
-request that we coin such a gender for you. (We do take requests for genders based on other genders we have coined.)
Ideally the first two options would credit the gender as being based on ours, but this is not required for uploading our terms to other places.

If you go to our account(s) and we have you blocked
☆ We block people for a variety of reasons, none of which they are owed disclosure of.
☆ You may still use our terms (e.g. in your personal gender collections). Part of the reason this Rentry exists is so that anyone can have access to our terms even if we do not wish them to have access to our accounts.
☆ If you are blocked on one site but not on another, you may still interact with our posts on the site on which you are not blocked. However, do not discuss the fact that you are blocked. Requests to know why you were blocked will not be honored and will likely result in another block.
