JRPG Traitor & The Gods of Pegana
https://archive.4plebs.org/tg/thread/67708134/#67708317
Outside part of the cosmology, JRPG Traitor has as much in common with The Gods of Pegana as Final Fantasy has with Norse Mythology. As in, I stole the names to make a reference, but they don't necessarily relate to their equivalent in Dunsany's works.

How the Setting Works
https://archive.4plebs.org/tg/thread/96181974/#96185577
The most important thing is to understand the actual laws of the world which are nothing like our own. Firstly, everything in this world is made up of either Amrita (Raw Magic), Essence (Conceptual Truths) or Strange Elements (Concepts of Change). All of these are the reflections and creations of MANA-YOOD-SUSHAI who created the universe by forming a bubble in the endless void (Imrana (which is referred to as a river/ocean metaphorically)). The main thing to note about this is that there is no such thing as an atom and conventional physics do not apply, a person of any race in this universe is basically just a concoction of these conceptual juices. This applies to not just people but all objects. The higher gods of this world, i.e. those originally created by MANA, are each tied to a particular attribute of mana whether this be an essence, a amrita aspect, or a strange element (though perhaps it would be more apt to say the aspects of mana are reflections of the gods). There are also lesser gods of the land who got the shit beaten out of them by the higher gods and are now the almost catatonic spirits you see today.
Amrita behaves differently to the others in that it has a base state called being unaspected where it floats around with no properties, when amrita is part of a physical object it will become aspected, meaning it obeys the property of that object i.e. fire being made out of fire amrita. So if a power says you forcefully attribute amrita then that's effectively transmuting all materials to a single one.
Essences are the conceptual juice of this world and can be described as the properties used to define a set state of amrita (for example earth would have a higher ESS;(DEF) than cotton because its tougher). The thing which ties each god to its respective juice is ESS;(SCR), for example.
Strange elements are interactions between differently aspected amrita, i.e. when two things hit each other or two gases mix a strange element is produced.
Overlords
What happens to the Overlords you don't pick?
https://archive.4plebs.org/tg/thread/67624302/#67629111
Overlords that don't exist if not picked: Alis (Not Isekai'd), Athanas (Not resurrected), Revysia (Not born).
What the rest do if not picked: Tagus is still slumbering in Yun-Ilara, Harosa doesn't return, Malgold faces his oncoming death with more dignity and threat other people a bit better, Belya'al never finds Nakbé and is just a warlord, Drusilla's husbando doesn't die, Mazdayasna isn't resurrected, and Yazata decides to wait a bit more to see if the Auspices fix themselves.
Relationships with the Overlord
https://archive.4plebs.org/tg/thread/67624302/#67629111
Overlords can be used for Life events (yes, this means you can romance the Overlord without doing their Loyalty Mission this way), otherwise, Evil Word, Evil Deeds is the only way to get friendly with them.
You can have a relationship with them via Life events, but they won't have time for quirky side adventures until they loyalty mission is done.
Alis Branford
https://archive.4plebs.org/tg/thread/67624302/#67629475
What are the chances of convincing her to play “The Hero” instead of “The Overlord”?
After all the hours of investment she put into building her empire and conquering the demihumans, she's gonna be hard to convince to act heroic, but you might have a shot if you're her lover. She was a kissless virgin before being Isekai'd and will be like putty in a charming person's hands. But even if you convinced her to act like a Hero, she still conquered a city under the protection of the Auspices and was branded Overlord, so she would still be at war unless you spring out some miracles from under your hat.
Does she need to kill for the “exp”?
She gains experience from winning battles against sapients, but needs to kill everything that doesn't have an intelligent mind if she wants the exp after defeating it.
Traitor
Traitor's Mark
https://archive.4plebs.org/tg/thread/67624302/#67629111
Like the alchemical sign of Sulphur.
Why is there a Traitor?
https://archive.4plebs.org/tg/thread/67639730/#67641857
The setting of this world has exactly six Auspices, each of whom selects a person of their choice to brand with a destiny for the JRPG plot to come. However, from what I can see, five Auspices brand the Hero and their four companions, while the sixth brands the Overlord that opposes them. Who, or what, then, has branded me, and what destiny was I supposed to fulfill before it was twisted to the role of Traitor?
It's the old gods fucking with the Auspices' system. It's why you have their blessings, and can pick the powers associated with them.
What did Adelina do to Aurea?
https://archive.4plebs.org/tg/thread/67624302/#67630206
Frequent and tender lesbian rape.
Adult Age
https://archive.4plebs.org/tg/thread/67624302/#67629111
So according to the description for adolescent, the age bracket is between 13-25. Does that mean adults are 25+ in years of age?
Not necessarily, that range was given for all races. If you're human or beastman, you can be an adult at 20 years, or even less, if you're demihuman.
Difference between ELE;(/) and STA;(MUNG)
https://archive.4plebs.org/tg/thread/67624302/#67632914
ELE(/) just straight up deletes things from existence, but you need to match whatever you're thanos snapping in power 1:1. STA(MUNG), meanwhile, requires much less power to kill, being far more energy efficient. Even a severe dosage returns whatever you're killing to free floating mana, which you can then use if you're a mage.
FF:RISHON
https://archive.4plebs.org/tg/thread/67624302/#67636059
It says it boosts you to mortal limits, but I already had Blessed Body, so will it even do anything for me? If I’m reading it right, it turns me into my perfect idealized self in real time, so I assume it can alter appearance, your own personality, emotional state, etc so that you are “perfect” from your own perspective?
If you have ALL++ or any other apotheosis, the power boost from FF:RISHON is negligible, and it only serves the purpose of helping to keep yourself in a state you would consider "perfect".
FACELESS
https://archive.4plebs.org/tg/thread/67624302/#67636059
No One talks about a "brand". Does it mean that everything before I learned the skill is something I can't remember?
It means you forget everything from before the CYOA.
Does it allow me to escape death, since he can't remember me?
It will protect you from Death from old age, but if you get killed, Death will find you no matter what.
Auspices' Location
https://archive.4plebs.org/tg/thread/67624302/#67636059
The Auspices' mainframes are within the manmade "Heaven" of the Sorcerer-Kings. If you invade the Adytum of the One Temple, you should be able to fight them.
Result of ESS;(SCR)maxxing
https://archive.4plebs.org/tg/thread/67624302/#67636059
If I get TA HIERA and use ESS(SCR) as an ELE, and use both FF:ATAVISM and FF:ELE (SCR) (or EGO:ELE (SCR) in case I can't use two FF at the same time), what would the results be? Would I be able to become a god greater than the older ones, or just jump normal full godhood?
You'd probably end up so godly that the great gods would invite you back to Pegana, you absolute madman.
Beastman Baby Killing
https://archive.4plebs.org/tg/thread/67624302/#67636059
Beatman tribes kill their own in the cradle or womb if they show signs of being close to Imrana.
Hybrid Options
https://archive.4plebs.org/tg/thread/67624302/#67636059
You can be a demon-demihuman hybrid.
FF:SHUSAI
https://archive.4plebs.org/tg/thread/67624302/#67636468
All it does is ensure that you join the ranks of the Drummer, Godmourner, and Dreamseeker as one of the beings that will survive The End Forever unscathed, which has colossal implications lore wise, but doesn't make you any stronger.
https://archive.4plebs.org/tg/thread/67639730/#67641857
Can I make my waifu survive the end of the universe too with Will of Mana?
No, there is only one ticket to MANA's ride out of its Monad.
What happens if I do the lich ritual while using my god form as a demon?
https://archive.4plebs.org/tg/thread/67624302/#67636468
You'd become a god of Undeath, legitimatizing the concept upon Mana, and able to undo most of the drawbacks being undead has.
Time Until THE END
https://archive.4plebs.org/tg/thread/67639730/#67641857
The universe has a few Mahakalpas (1 Mahakalpa = 311.04 trillion years) of time left in it.
Mahasidi
https://archive.4plebs.org/tg/thread/67639730/#67641857
Mahasidi, as befits the Auspice of Nothing, is mindless, it has no will to be able to choose anyone.
Radorana
https://archive.4plebs.org/tg/thread/67708134/#q67708152
There's actually a small inland sea in Uramag, which is what is meant to be the desert of water.
Healing
https://archive.4plebs.org/tg/thread/69345089/#69347477
ESS;(KIB) when combined with any element allows it to heal.
Dream Loli
https://archive.4plebs.org/tg/thread/69345089/#69347477
When you leave very big amounts of Dream alone, and do not alter it in many ways, it turns into a loli with control over black, all-consuming beasts.
https://archive.4plebs.org/tg/thread/69345089/#69347737
Can i turn myself into a Dream loli with the appropriate apotheosis?
You can turn yourself into a loli with all of the perks that allow shapeshifting, and you can control Dream well enough to create the black beasts, but you can't become a Dream loli because you exist in the dream of Mana, and even if you exit it, you came from it, so you can't express an incompatible dream like the Dream lolis do.
https://archive.4plebs.org/tg/thread/69345089/#69348712
I figured it's be something like the ELE+ tree with the dream element, or are they not compatible?
ELE+ tree wouldn't work, because the difference isn't on the endpoint of Dream, but on its origin. You're getting Dream after Mana has constrained the Radical Freedom and all outside dreams have muddled together into the Dream element, while the dream lolis are expressions of one particular outside dream that is forced to express itself like the rest do, i.e bright-eyed loli escorted by fuckton of dangerous black things.
ADVELE->ELE;(Y)+ -> ELE;(Y)++ -> ELE;(Y)+++ -> EGO;(Y) -> FF:ELE
ELE;(Y) + TA HIERA -> ESS;(Y), CHAKRA, MNTR;(Y) -> SUTRA;(Y) -> FF:ARHAT
Would these just not work?
No, see above. You can turn into a 99.99999...% accurate imitation, but not the real thing.
https://archive.4plebs.org/tg/thread/69345089/#69349898
so you can use the ELE+ tree with the dream element, it just wouldn't turn you into a dream loli.
Yes.
Biblioteca
https://archive.4plebs.org/tg/thread/69345089/#69348712
Biblioteca is a petri dish to see how dream interacts with living beings, elements and essences.
Game of Fate and Chance
https://archive.4plebs.org/tg/thread/96300458/#96301463
In the mists before THE BEGINNING, Fate and Chance cast lots to decide whose the Game should be; and he that won strode through the mists to MANA-YOOD-SUSHAI and said: “Now make gods for Me, for I have won the cast and the Game is to be Mine.” Who it was that won the cast, and whether it was Fate or whether Chance that went through the mists before THE BEGINNING to MANA-YOOD-SUSHAI—none knoweth.
Chance won; Fate is not absolute.
https://archive.4plebs.org/tg/thread/96300458/#96304602
Each beginning-end is one game.
https://www.gutenberg.org/cache/epub/8183/pg8183-images.html
Fate and Chance had played their game and ended, and all was over, all the hopes and tears, regrets, desires and sorrows, things that men wept for and unremembered things, and kingdoms and little gardens and the sea, and the worlds and the moons and the suns; and what remained was nothing, having neither colour nor sound.
The game ending is THE END.
Then said Fate to Chance: “Let us play our old game again.” And they played it again together, using the gods as pieces, as they had played it oft before. So that those things which have been shall all be again, and under the same bank in the same land a sudden glare of sunlight on the same spring day shall bring the same daffodil to bloom once more and the same child shall pick it, and not regretted shall be the billion years that fell between. And the same old faces shall be seen again, yet not bereaved of their familiar haunts. And you and I shall in a garden meet again upon an afternoon in summer when the sun stands midway between his zenith and the sea, where we met oft before. For Fate and Chance play but one game together with every move the same, and they play it oft to while eternity away.
The game starting is THE BEGINNING.
