Takumi is truly the character of all time. Everybody has that one friend who is far too timeloop and unfortunately he is that friend. Is it selfish to constantly seek out this good ending and take away others need for their own, for the sake of consistently going back to try and achieve perfection? On a scale of 1-10 how pissed would you be if you thought you were about to go home and some guy just reversed time because he keeps thinking he needs to fix every single little mistake? Be honest.
Hii, Another person here! I love Eito to death and I associate myself with him through and through. This will be shared between us two owners until we get bored somehow. Please don't bother trying to find either of our contacts. Happy reading to all of you!
At first I didn’t even understand what was happening in this game. I thought it was bad. I said "This is bad." I said "I would never care about this." That was a lie. I was in denial. I was already infected. I think about it constantly now. It lives in my walls. It plays behind my eyes when I blink too long. I don’t know how to be free anymore. I don’t even want to be. Freedom is a lie anyway.
I'm mentally ill, and not in a cute way. Not in a "teehee I’m quirky" way. I mean I am in the basement with YARN on the wall type beat. I am elbows deep in symbolism. I am gnawing on the drywall trying to decode a two second scene from Eito's stupid crashout. But somebody is always there ruining my goddamn peace. Posting a half baked theory, and suddenly I’m foaming at the mouth like a Victorian child seeing another persons naked ankle for the first time. I don’t even know what YEAR it is anymore. HELP ME.
The characters. Don’t even get me started on the characters. They’re not real. BUT. They also they are. They have ruined me. I have felt grief and pain more sincerely over fictional fucking developments and heartbreak than I have at most funerals. (No offense.) You know that feeling when you realize a plotline was set up seemingly seven years ago and you only just understood? Yeah. That’s the kind of high I chase now. I have no life.
They knew what they were doing. Don’t act like they didn’t. This isn’t random. This isn’t accidental. They planted this. They buried it. Like an ancient evil. Like a cursed relic. They built the entire structure on a foundation of metaphor and now I’m trapped inside the building screaming at wallpaper patterns. "Look at the FORESHADOWING!!" I shout. No one looks. They never do.
Also, the themes. The themes. You think it's about surface plot? Wrong. It’s about time. It's about death. It's about memory and decay and history and the violence of forgetting. It's about the way a look lingers just one frame too long. It's about silence. It’s about what’s not said. I have not known peace since I realized that.
I have theories. I have deep diven headcanons. I have images saved on my phone that could absolutely land me at the mental ward for insanity. At this point, if the creators walked up to me and said "it’s not that deep," I would simply disintegrate. I would transcend. I would become mist. IT IS IN FACT "THAT DEEP". You DO NOT get to gaslight me. Not after everything I just watched with Eito and Takumi's mental fuckery that ruined me for a full two days now.
