With her mother, Teresa, headed to jail in January (and her father, Joe, 15 months later), Gia Giudice, the oldest daughter of the “Real Housewives of New Jersey” stars, has released a racy music video.
As part of girl group 3KT — which, according to E! News, stands for “3 Karat Diamonds” — the 13-year-old pairs a cover of Britney Spears‘ 2008 hit, “Circus,” with age-inappropriate outfits.
In the video released at midnight Friday, Gia is seen gyrating in gold lamé shorts, cropped tops, a short skirt, thigh-high boots and fishnet stockings. Bandmates Alexa Maetta, 16, and Cristianna Cardinale, 14, wear similar garb as they dance in unison for a crowd of young fans.
With bold red lips and shimmering eyeshadow caked on, Gia and her bandmates appear much older than their age — and viewers have taken notice.
“Who in their right mind would let their 13,14, and 16 year old daughters dress like that? Way [too] much makeup. The dance moves are way to mature. Yikes!” writes one YouTube commenter.
Another comes to the group’s defense, writing, “Love love love the young ladies music video. Everyone is on point totally. Watched Gia grow up into a beautiful young woman. Keep on rising to the top 3KT…”
But Maria DeSantis, owner of Xist Talent, who manages the girl group, says the outfits in question are simply “dance costumes.”
“They’re fully dressed. They’ve been competition dancers since they were toddlers,” DeSantis told Page Six on Friday. “They’ve been on stage competing.”
“There is another video that we’re working on now. There are a lot of things in the works for them,” she added.
Radar Online reports that the club-inspired video was funded by Teresa, who was ordered by a judge to pay $415,588 in restitution as part of her prison sentence. (Teresa recently ponied up $200,000 in forfeiture, a sum agreed upon by the Giudices at the time of their March plea agreement, which was due the day of sentencing — Oct. 2).
“Teresa didn’t care and spent $10,000 for it,” an insider told Radar. “The money Teresa paid only covered a fraction of the costs for the video. It was a very expensive to shoot, and the other girls’ families also contributed.”
Teresa, 42, is scheduled to begin her 15-month prison term at the Danbury, Conn., prison made famous by “Orange Is the New Black,” on Jan. 5. Joe, also 42, was sentenced to 41 months behind bars, but will not serve his sentence until Teresa has returned from hers.
