KIN TERMS THAT I USE AND THERE DEFINITIONS (or how I personally view the definition)

Fictionkin : Identifying AS a fictional character involuntarily, many people interpret what it means to "identify" as that character in different ways.

Synpath : Relating to or identifying WITH a fictional character voluntarily.

Copinglink : Identifying AS or WITH a fictional character due to coping reasons, often trauma related.

Kin ID : Identifying AS or WITH a fictional character in a very strong way. Sort of the in between of synpath and fictionkin, STRONG connection to the kin but not enough to be a fictionkin.

Fictionlink : Identifying AS a fictional character voluntarily. Very similar to Kin Id but not the same.

Otherkin : Relating to or identifying AS or WITH something non-human. This could be things like animals or mythical creatures. Many feel a connection to personality traits often associated with it.
