I love Dire Straits. We Go way back. Stream Lady Writer. One of the first songs I learned how to play on my guitar.

Here is the new and improved Manon virtual guitar tour! It's a WIP so be nice i'll finish it soon.

GUITAR: 714-MK2 Fullerton from Aria
pickups: Alnico 5
Wood: Roasted maple, poplar
How Much I Paid: $240
Notes: I bought it impulsively because I liked its color and it’s become one of my favorite guitars because I have these gorgeousssss turquoise earrings and they pair so nicely with them so it made me feel a little less guilty about spending my money so impulsively lol. It doesn’t sound like some crazy ass $5k guitar but it’s comfortable to play and has a good output so I’m content with it.

GUITAR: Fender FA-125 NS (Featuring my Akechi nui)
Wood: Idk I forgot I'll inspect it later
How Much I Paid: $150
Notes: Excuse the drop in quality I took this photo just now LOL. This was one of the first guitars I ever got as a kid and I still cherish it! It has stickers placed haphazardly all over it from when I was little but I'll probably never remove them so I can preserve those memories.

VOCABULARY INDEX

Alnico is an amalgamation of aluminum, nickel, and cobalt. The number after the term alnico (2, 3, 5) tells you how strong its magnetism is bc electric guitar pickups are essentially just magnets w/ wire wrapped around them. 3 has the weakest magnetic force (mainly bc it has no cobalt), 2 is comfortably in the middle, and 5 is the strongest.

The "How Much I Paid" is not the fixed price, I may have paid less or more than I realistically should have. If I were to add up all my guitars and my equipment (amps, pedals, editing effects, luthiers, etc) together I'd say I've spent like. $10k total since I was 14 up until now (I'm 22). This guitar shit gets serious I get paid pennies and spend those pennies buying shit instead of paying for food.
