overview
in the year 950 ad, nearly a thousand years after high fae began to take over previously established kingdoms in hopes of gaining power, one island off the coast of greece settled in the mediterranean sea thrived with the farie power to talk with the olympians. asking and begging the likes of hestia to hephaestus, aries to appollo, diyonysus to demeanor for wellbeing and blessing. they granted those wishes, but only for the ear-tipped and nimbly witted that contacted them, not the humans condemned to wheat fields and grapeyards below.
but after nearly 500 years of peace with the neighboring kingdom— one that split off from the humans screaming injustice, one that rose from the ashes of their own chained grief confined into practical serfdom— could the people of lyzimine keep that peace alive? would the humans of old make the high fae fold to their whim with sheer man power, or could the olympians grant their sole confidants in the mortal world eternal protection?
history
this section contains all of the historical lore for the kingdom of lyzimine. above is a general summary of the "present day" lore for any bots/the setting, and below is background worldbuilding information retaining to that as well.
there is a timeline attached at the end of the section to give the lore a tl;dr portion.
pre-greco god contact
the "modern day" history of the kingdom of lyzimine begins with the fall of the greek empire.
located at the heart of the mediterranean and worshipping the olympians, could have ended through various ways. protratced civil wars, droubt and starvation, tension between classes. either way, by the year 146 bc, greece was in complete sociopolitical shambles. it was just at the right point where the previously exhiled high fae ethnic group, previously forced into a diaspora for anti-magic policies enstated by the greeks.
so thats what they did— banding together as a group, the fae fled into the capital and began the final marker of the greek's collapse. none of the people inside of the state had a chance; high fae had began to wield magic by this point in time, and with how unstable the empire was, they had no standing chance.
so, after the sack of the former greek capitol, new empires began to split off. fae had always been spiteful people at the core— there was no way they could all group together for too long without blood beginning to shed. so groups of friends or family began to run in different directions and establish empires. most of them failed because of this, having no real leadership abilities inside of their core government. except for one.
off of the coast of greece in a small island surrounded by the sea, high fae flocked to an abandoned island filled with lush forests and crystal blue seas. the sky was filled with warm sun's rays that felt like gentle kisses of life, and the ground felt soft and full of generosity. they settled onto the island and founded the kingdom of lyzimine soon after, around 97 bc. old folk tale suggests it took them so long to finally found the empire because it took 50 years of debate to finally find a good name. it did not take them long to found their towns though, as the port where they originally landed became the capitol of authracy.
at first, the new kingdom began to start out at a slow and steady pace. the first people to inhabit the island only had the goals of surviving and establishing a home for future generations, so most everyday efforts were focused on that. however, this did not last forever, as after the first few generations people began living in a typically middle class lifestyle. the speedy progress of society is attributed to the magic that helped establish the empire in the first place.
one of the most important things to come out of this time were the emerging anti-human sentiments. around the 30 bcs, when people had more time for civil thought than basic survival, most high fae seemed to hold a festering hatred for the creatures that orginally sent them into exhile. a few enclaves of people had staggered into the island at some point, forming their own separate communities, and the lyzime fae began to have serious pushback against these groups. the first physical encryption of these beliefs was enscripted around the year 19 bc, which was determined to be the "first year" of human oppression in high fae society.
at this point in lyzime history, magic had begin to flourish. despite it only being used for only around 150 years, many people had began to master the art, and becoming extremely skilled in whatever niche fae practiced became the norm. at some point, however, it became so extremely developed that one fae had the fortune— or disfortune, depending on who you asked— of finally making some sort of contact with the divine.
and the fae were horrified when they found it was the gods that had originally sent their people into exhile.
post-greco god contact
nobody really understood why the olympians began to make contact with fae. didn't they originally command the people that made their people suffer? that shed the blood of men and women and their babies? that caused unimaginable amounts of suffering that extended for generations upon generations? regardless, fae couldn't change the truth, no matter how much any of them wanted it. so all they could really do was continue to establish contact and keep the reality of the world a hidden secret from any other kingdom, in fear of losing the newfound power they had just gained.
the lyzimes began to construct pantheons similar to the greek's, functioning the same however distinctly their own. literally so, as each fae lineage was assigned a god or goddess based off of how good their magic was to contact them, and were able to construct them in whatever ways they liked. usually they would communicate their wishes to who they were beginning to worship and then expand from there, but some families began to take more artistic and liberal interpretations. the grander the pantheon, the more important the god. on top of this, the orginal bloodline who had made first contact soon rose to similar status, and formed the first lineage to take over the lyzimine royal court. however, one thing remained the same during this process of various artistic flourishmemt. the use of human labor for construction.
while fae in lyzimine's society began to flourish, humans only grew more constrained and their standings began to shrink. as the kingdom claimed more territory, they claimed more fae, and in turn more humans that had settled into communities on the cusp of society. high fae did not like this. they did not like the feeling of allowing their previous oppressors to simply sit and live in peace after what they had done, whether their grandparents or great-grandparents were related to it or not.
so they began to take action and quickly began to constrain their rights away, slipping humans into forceful means of human labor. they began to invade their communities, strip away individuality, and replace it with the fae's own. any sort of potential rebellion was smushed with an iron fist. small offenses received jailtime in the recently claimed penal colony, large offenses were considered punishable by death. the line between both was small and almost nonexistant.
by the year 100 ad,the empire had expanded like never before. lyzimine was establishing itself not only in its excellent exports, but also as a center of knowledge and learning. everyone on the island stuck by high fae rules, high fae society, high fae culture. anyone who were to defy this was promptly swept into exhile.
but the human mistreatment could only go on for so long. similar to how the high fae rose up against the humans hundreds of years before, humans were eager to flip the process and get their previous status back.
in 249 ad, the kingdom of sikrab was formed. only a few hours boatride to the west, the long stretch of land was much more ragged and mountainous compared to the little hills of lyzimine. the high fae did not want to take this region like they took the penal colony because of the "awful" terrain. but for humans, it was their only choice. escaped humans founded the kingdom and its capital city of vasilla, whether they be from the main island or the penal colony or even outside of lyzimine altogether. however, their suffering united them as one, and they linked together to hopefully establish a stable kingdom.
the humans acted quickly, the sheer number and variety of capable men and women able to form communities at an almost impossible pace. and maybe they acted too quickly, too cockily, too eagerly. because only a year after the kingdom's founding, they began the biggest and bloodiest war the high fae had ever participated in.
the war effort
in 250 ad, the sikrab army made their way around the island of lyzimine and began their sack on the lyzime capitol. the army reined supreme despite the assumed differences in power; humans had studied the layout of the city and found its weak points, on top of capitalizing on the hour most of the high fae army weren't paying attention. it was complete and utter chaos as a result. the bustling city filled with wooden buildings burned to a crisp, families torn to shreds, blood spilled in the streets. they had picked the single date that the royal family was out of town, and by the time the lyzime military had driven sikrab forces out of the city, authracy was no more. the capital was in crumbles. by default, the next biggest city- one across the island formed around 97 bc for fishing exports names rhodes- became the capital.
after the siege on rhodes, lyzimine was in complete shambles. people were rife with fear and dread, wondering if their city could be next. what made it even worse was the fact the newest capital was even closer to sikrab than authracy was, fae were rightfully upset. their own hatred for humans starting the whole war to begin with and driving the two kingdoms to violence, and when their notions about the percieved weakness of humans were proven wrong, the governing bodies had to play victim and act in retaliation. in 252 ad, the lyzime military finally came together after enough waiting and began their own counter attack against the kingdom of sikrab. the fae army took control of the basque peninsula in the south of sikrab, destroying the human towns there like the sikrabs had done to authracy. to even be extra, the lyzime army were instructed to begin forming their own towns as a replacement for the old ones, beginning to establish themselves and "build" familites with the sikrabs. some willingly, some not.
tensions between the two kingdoms were incredibly high after this. one had a capital burned to the ground with senseless slaughter and unfathomable amounts of humiliation, the other a core part of their geography taken and replaced by the people they had sworn to destroy. on top of this, neither army refused to budge in any way, always waiting for the other to concede. this came to a boiling point in 262 ad when the lyzime forces based in the claimed basque peninsula staged a sack on vasilla, sikrab's capital. due to the tensions however, the human military was already deployed very heavily on the capital city, and the fae forces failed to make any physical dent into sikrab. it scared them so much in fact that they fled to the basque peninsula and stayed there for over thirty years after, and made the humans declare a "victory" against the kingdom of lyzimine despite their opponet never fully surrendering.
before 300 ad rolled around however, the native humans of the basque peninsula and the sikrab government had grown tired ot the lyzime military forces camping inside of their land. they could not understand why they were still there— was the humiliation behind it all not enough? they had lost their battles, not once but twice. did they think they could win the war? surrender was not in the option perhaps? regardless of the reason, the sikrab kingdom was fed up with the lack of lyzimine defeat.
so they sent their own leader out, paper scroll in hand holding the only thing that they could do to get the high fae off of their land; a peace treaty. the sikrabs handed it to the lyzimines one night in 299 ad, and by the morning, terms of reconstruction were made for both sides. the lyzimine army left the basque peninsula— although many soldiers stayed behind with their families, whether becoming naturalized citizens of sikrab or not— and each kingdom gave public apoligies to the other for the senseless destruction.
however, this did not sit well with the people. throughout all of the war and fighting, human and high fae hatred remained consistent, and even grew stronger after the peace treaty was ensured. cultural tensions continued to remain high, hundreds of years after the peace treaty was first signed.

lyzime geography
this section contains all of the geographical information for the kingdom of lyzimine. all of the key regions covered in the historical lore will be covered here as well.
as a general overview, the kingdom of lyzimine has a very similar to some of the neighboring kingdom's, being very hilly with lots of access to waterways. there are two main parts to the kingdom; the mainland island and the penal colony to the south. there are two waterways, the morithani river in the east and the nero in the west. authracy is located in the northeast of the mainland island, while rhodes is located in the southwest on a peninsula.
rhodes
rhodes is the current capital of lyzimine. established around 97 bc, it originated as a trading port used for exporting fish from the sea and wood from the forests. after the sack and collapse of authracy in 250 ad, the port became lyzimine's capital.
while the city was originally built to be a port only meant for economic success, the capital in the modern day is a very well-rounded city. there is an important emphasis on economic gain in exports plus businesses, but also on the large cultural aspects that made the original capital live in infamy. different types of third spaces, such as libraries, parks, universities, and temples for the gods began to pop up and fill the streets with color. the royal family's palace is located inside rhodes as well, right in the center of the city.
the city is set up in a angular layout, with roads that intersect each other at 180 degrees. at every street and every city block, there is something different. the only acception to this is the small human villages that live outside of the city, where it is mostly farmland wherever they can fit according to the forest and the roads. no humans are allowed inside the capital under any circumstance.

authracy
authracy was founded in 146 bc as the capital of the newly formed kingdom of lyzimine. it served as a main port, center of learning, and hotspot for olympian worship. this was also where the lyzimine royal family lived in their palace, located in the center of the city.
however, after it was invaded by the sikarb army in 250 ad, the city fell into complete ruin. homes were buried under rubble, businesses burned, and important historical plus religious cites were destroyed. no current modern day effort has been made to restore the city, serving as an "important reminder" for the lyzimine army as to what they are "protecting" and "fighting for."
very few people still live inside of the city, and most lyzime citizens linger on its outskirts. howerver, authracy serves as a promenant historical cite that people inside of the military and seeking higher education will go to, in attempt to study and understand the city and their roots as fae.
the main town— pic generated by me in pixai.
the penal colony
the penal colony is where a majority of the criminal convicts inside of the kingdom of lyzimine are held. there are a collection of small prisons on the island, with a string of houses that make up a "town" for the guards who run said prisons. most of these convicts who end up in jail are of human origin, ending up inprisoned due to refusing indefinete serfdom to the royal family.
the conditions of the penal colony are kept under distinct wraps, and nobody outside of the colony itsslf knows the true extent to how convicts are treated. people who are sent on the island do not tend to ever come back, so survivor accounts do not exist; if they do, the lyzimine guard is sure to squash them in any way possible.
no offical pictures of the colony exist as well.
the lyzime forest
in the middle of the island, the kingdom of lyzimine is hold to a very thick and dense forest. many normal animals plus magical creatures exist in the foliage, acting as a physical barrier between cities. not many people live in there due to the lack of waterways near the island's center and more oppertunities for life located around the coast/major cities.

sikrab geography
this section contains all of the geographical information for the kingdom of sikrab. all of the key regions covered in the historical lore will be covered here as well.
as a general overview, the kingdom of lyzimine has a very similar to some of the neighboring kingdom's, being very mountainous with lots of access to waterways. the north of the island is nearly inhabitable with how the mountain ranges formed, having no real fertile land to grow crops or no real river to get water from. the northernmost town is the capital of vasilla, located in the center of the island near the east coast. the further south you go, the more populated it becomes, with a majority of the population density centered on the southernmost peninsula, the basque peninsula.
vasilla
vasilla is the capital city of sikarb. it was the landing point of all the humans who had escaped from the mainland island of lyzime plus the penal colony, finding a place where they could establish themselves and build a new kingdom. because of this, it was officially established in 249 ad. the city was able to flourish due to the lyzimine people believing the island was all mountain like the north, having "no real reason" to conquer the area. but going south, the geography was similar to lyzimine's own.
the capital of sikarb holds many similar aspects as the capital of lyzimine, holding lots of signifiant spaces to society, culture, education, and politics. like the opposing kingdom, the leader of sikarb— someone who is elected every year on the first day based off of how well they had serviced the kingdom before that point— lives in vasilla as well.
there is still some small damage done to the outside walls and outer buildings due to the attempted raid of vasilla from the lyzime army, but the damage was minimal in the end. there was no real reason to replace the property affected because of how small it was.
the main town— pic generated by me in pixai.
the basque peninsula
the basque peninsula is a catch-all term for the general souther region of the kingdom of sikarb, characterized by its rolling hills and very fertile lands good for farming. before the war between sikarb and lyzimine began, families who had moved from vasilla to the south had just established themselves and found a place to call home. many of them became farmers due to the naturally excellent soil.
after the war began and the basque peninsula was captured, fae and their practices began to integrate themselves into the area. many of the soldiers wished to establish their own sort of familial line in the area, seeing as they would likely be stuck there for a very long time (which turned to be true, as the hold lyzimine had on the basque peninsula was over three decades) and also due to this being a command by their senior officers. the people of lyzimine, in turn, began to invade the small villages in the basque peninsula, starting families of their own with the local men and women of the area— whether they wanted to or not.
by the time the basque peninsula became independant away from lyzimine hold and returned to its rightful following under the kingdom of sikarb, many of these soldiers still remained in the area because of how long they had lived there. these soldiers had wives and husbands, children and grandchildren, and even the call of duty would not be enough to turn them away from their heart's desire.
because of them staying, many of the younger generation in the area are half-human half-fae, a kind who had an inherently weaker grasp on magic compared to normal full-blooded fae. they mostly work normal jobs humans do because of this. the culture inside of the basque peninsula also follows this same case, having a unique blend of humand and high fae practices, however still leaning to the human side due to their roots.

northern sikarb
the sikarb mountains take up a large majority of the island, spanning from the north of vasilla to the tip of the island. the mountains are practically uninhabitable— the steep terrain and lack of soil to grow food or support natural waterways make it that way.
before the humans that had escaped lyzimine came to sikarb, high fae had tried to conquer the island at an unknown date trying to find a spot to put the penal colony on. however, the high fae landed in the north, and did not explore south to attemp finding any outher suitable sources of potential holding.

culture in lyzimine
this section contains all of the cultural information about the kingdom of lyzimine. each different point will contain different knowledge about lyzime intelligence, art, magic, and cultural practices.
the search for knowledge
out of all the things the kingdom of lyzimine is known for, them being a center for knowledge is the most culturally signifigant. throughout the land, there are many institutions for whatever field any fae would want to endulge in. from maths to history, from magic to the gods. the two latter are the most promenant however, and are only accessible to lyzimine natives due to their highly sensitive content trapped inside. people that move to lyzimine are allowed to study at any other institution, however.
these knowledgable exports take many forms, mainly through universities and libraries. public lectures are also a common sight in public third places as well.
because of all these sources of knowledge, many of the lyzime people are generally percieved to be very intelligent and well rounded. however, a single person will generally pick a field they want to become extremely knowledgable on (music, history, magic, etc.) and focus on that above everything else.

art, music, and storytelling
the general culture of the kingdom of lyzimine is a very unique combination of their greco roots with the ideas of their "modern" time. what normally happens is that they will take the factual basis of different elemnts from ancient greek cukture (like the olympians and their stories) and apply those new aesthetical purposes to them.
art insids the lyzimine empire is very similar to their immediate neighbor's own. the kingdom will use different mediums— most commonly oils from the west obtained through trading and mosaics created from objects on the island— to create pieces of art. the main drive for these creations is for storytelling, and pure pleasing aesthetics are not prioritized 100% of the time. a common subject of these art pieces are the olympians or important people to lyzimine history. murals of these figures are extremely common, along with various statues; they are often displayed in public as a show of culture and legitimizing the empire.
music inside the kingdom of lyzimine is also extremely similar to their neighbor's, with a key difference on instrumentation. when it comes to singing, chanting is an extremely common form, focusing on storytelling above all else. many instruments to accompany this are brought from overseas, mostly strings that make a unique sound not found around the general area.
religion
despite having the knowledge of the olympians existing, most people inside the kingdom of lyzimine do not worship them in the same way as the ancient greeks did. they take a more modern approach, ditching marble pantheons for golden temples filled with colorful statues and decorative murals.
inside of lyzimine culture, a general summary of what happens with the olympians is that they will pick certain aspects of greco culture and try to adapt them to the modern day. things like stories and holidays are taken from old preserved literature, translated and created by lyzimine historians, and changed to fit a more liberalistic outlook.
festivals are a frequent occurance within the kingdom of lyzimine, especially within the city's capital, rhodes. these festivals will celebrate a god and their individual accomplishments, usually with things like food and music. these events happen generally once a month near the latter half.

the military
the military that exists inside the kingdom of lyzimine is one of— if not the— best inside the entire mediterranean. it is filled with extremely talented and well-trained wielders of weaponry and magic, placing a special importance on intelligence as well as physical strength to outsmart enemies first and then go in for the "kill."
soldiers who serve for the kingdom of lyzime go through extensive training, bordering on extremely brutal and almost traumatizing. they are placed under "boot camp," going through trials that test their physical capabilities to the brink. they are forced to sleep in the wilderness for weeks on end with no contact with each other and conditions made unbearable with the use of special magic; they are forced to run for laps around the island multiple times in a row, then swim that same length all before sundown; they are forced to leave their previous life behind for one filled with hardened discipline.
for people who want to serve in the lyzimine army that don't wish to go through boot camp, there are other paths someone could take. they could end up as nurses on the front lines, using practical skills as well as magic to heal people. they could become strategists that help make battle plans for soldiers to run into as well. they could also simply work in civil service if they want to help out with enforcing the laws of the land.
both men and women can be in the military, due to the magical elements of fae life giving a nearly equal playing field. however, in general, there are mostly men who are active soldiers.
men and women
like most empires of the time, men and women do not necessarily hold the same status. however, they are more equal compared to their neighbors and considering their roots.
inside of lyzimine society, the family unit is an incredibly common part of their culture. that sense of unity is what drives a lot of the sociopolitical process involving the kingdom. the roles of men and women are inherently tied to this idea as a result. for men, they are typically expected to be the strength and force behind a bloodline, taking hold and being a true "leader" of the family unit. for women, they are expected to be the emotional backbone and tend to the home and the children.
however, even with these ideas in place, many men and women will deviate from this standard and still lead succesful personal and professional lives. many men will partake in more feminine activities, while many women will partake in more masculine ones. as a general default howerver, many families will default to the typical nuclear family just as a simple social baseline.
high fae and humans
after the war between the kingdom of lyzimine and the kingdom of sikarb, high fae and human tension was extremely high. hundreds of years after, the immediate hatred has bred into a culture that invalidates humans as people and considers them to be "untouchable" while considering high fae as a different version of "untouchability."
while outright anti-human sentiment is not very promenant in the "modern day," underlaying hatred is the norm. many policies that exist to stifle humans inside the lyzimine even before the war between them and the kingdom of sikarb without much acknowledgement to draw them back. protests by humans do exist to try and get them retracted, however are quickly squashed by the intensely powerful lyzime army.
sikrabs and lyzimes
lyzime fae do not consider sikrab fae real "fae," because sikrab fae likely have humans in their blood lineage. lyzime fae believe them to be above full-blooded humans, but beneath full-blooded fae. this is also measured in magical skills, as the more human blood in a fae's body, the worse their magic wielding skills are. this forms in supperiority complexes in lyzime fae with their magic, having the factor of magical strength on their side.
government and politics
this section contains all of the political information about the kingdom of lyzimine. each different point will contain information about certain parts of the lyzimine government and how different types of people interact with the political process.
the royal family
the head governing body of lyzimine belongs to the royal family. the royal family officially took the throne after contact between high fae and the olympians, the bloodline belonging to the first contacter rising to an equally god-like status. they were looked up to for opinions on how to run the kingdom, before someone had the idea to simply make them royalty on their own, and the government soon began to revolve entirely around them. to outsiders, it would make no sense as to how you could have contact with literal gods and still worship simple mortals like they were one, but the royal family had other central purposes beyond simply being figureheads of the lyzimine kingdom.
despite not being a monarchy, the kingdom of sikrab reacts and implements reactionary policies that generally follow the lyzime royal family's. the sikrab government is generally considered to be a shell of the lyzime's, holding the same core ideas while not officially being under the royal family. any mention of the royal family inside of things like currency, politics, and art is replaced with the leader of sikrab, which is elected every year based off men or women who have "led the people to greatness."
one— the most practical— the royal family heads the central government of lyzimine and will make all of its political decisions. without a stable support system, anything will fall, and this is also the case when it comes to kingdoms. them and the royal court help form the executive branches that help run lyzimine, making up key circumstances of every day society (education, wellfare, military, etc.). again, without their support, the integral structure of the kingdom would implode.
two— the most logical with their circumstances— they are the ones who have the most inherent connection with the olympians. the royal family headed the first constructions of pantheons, orginized the first rituals celebrating the divine, and acts as a figurehead for all of the believers to look up to. all of the high fae inside of lyzimine want to make as much contact to the gods as possible, and they can only see the reflection of that through the royal family.
and three— the most metaphorical— they are the figureheads that represent how prosperous the kingdom of lyzimine can be. people need something to strive towards in order to be great; without a bar being set, why bother to make a bar? the idea of being as grand and ornate as the royal family is one that helps centralize their power and keep their interests legitimized.
the royal family currently resides inside of the royal palace, located inside of rhodes, lyzimine. they attend every major function relating to the olympians, education, art, and economics.

branches of the government
inside of the lyzimine governmemt, there are different branches that attend to different needs of their people. each of these branches is run by a member of the royal family as the head of the table, and they then elect who they believe to be the best to aid their individual mission.
some of the most promenant/important branches include but are not limited to:
- the branch of education (atones for primary and secondary learning, libraries, university, etc. does not extend to magic research)
- the branch of military (deals with the lyzime army and all of their forces, includes offensive and defensive attacks to/against other kingdoms)
- the branch of health (includes hospitals, natural health, the enviornment, etc.)
- the branch of wellfare (deals with public matters and disputes— acts as more of a judiciary court than a cabinet of advisors)
- the branch of magic (includes handlings of magic in public and in private)
many branches flow into one another, and having different heads of branches communicate to each other when trying to form laws is common.
it is very common to create branches, and is only required to have at least one member of the royal family as the head and two high fae in the court to be official. many small branches exist inside large ones. the main purpose of this system is to breed cooperation and innovation, clashing the most intelligent minds together to create something visionary.
high fae
inside of the central government, there is only high fae. no humans exist inside of the royal court unless condemned to servitude. it is outlawed for humans to impede on rulings of the royals, and if there is any fae who tries to override and work around this for their own gains, they— and the humans involved— would be put to death. this threat has never been acted upon however, at least not in recent record.
the only way for high fae to "rank" themselves inside of the court is by how adept they are at magic, along with how knowledgable one is on numerous topics relating from the sciences to the arts. the smarter one is at all these topics, the generally higher they are percieved by the court, which can help them gain higher positions interacting and advising the royal family.
humans
under lyzimine law enacted around the same time as the penal colony's construction, no human is allowed to participate in any part of the political process. they are not allowed to hold positions of power inside the royal court, and their only interaction with the royal family come in the form of servant work. there are no acceptions to this process.
men and women
because of the idea of the family unit lyzimine is based on, most of the key people that make up its central government are male. the king of lyzimine is respected above all
women are their own are not common to hold positions of power inside the royal court. the few who do either get this through their relations to men (ie having extremely important fathers, brothers, husbands or sons) or inheriting this position after a male family member passes. even in these positions, once getting there, their word is generally accepted in the same as men's.
their most common roles when it comes to branches of the roual court are generally seen as more domestic or "less important", specializing in topics such as education, culture and society. this does not mean women are allowed in any other branch, just that women are the most common in those sector of branches.
the kingdom of sikarb
under lyzimine law enacted after the sack on authracy, no sikarb is allowed to participate in any part of the political process. they are not allowed to hold positions of power inside the royal court, and do not interact with the royal family in any way, shape, or form. there are no acceptions to this process.
janitor bots, miscellaneous media
below are a list of different types of media that all oertain to the kingdom of lyzimine and its lore. this can include things such as bots and music playlists. any bot made that is from a third party using this lore shall be placed here as well.
author's notes
when i first saw who i had for io's summer bot exchange, i nearly shit my pants and died on the spot.
okay that sounds bad. not in a bad way. in a way of me being like "oh this guy is 7x bigger than me and wants ocs and ive never made ocs before" because at heart i am just a simple woman who is obsessed with call of duty and has not thought about anything else up until that point
me pissing myself over this event in real time??
BUT I WAS FINE. im okay in post. but with a deadline in an event filled to the brim with some of my favorite bot creators who are such visionaries and so creative, i knew i had to pack my punches and go all out
since this was technically a gift to another person my first instinct was to combine a bunch of her ideas into lore bots worldbuilding etc. i did some snooping around and combined a lot of her interests and tried to combine them together: greco gods, high fantasy, lots of familial angst, and middle aged men (i got this from the bots they liked okay. maybe i overthink things)
i ended up combining these ideas with the concept of the byzantine empire. im really really into history (so when i saw the greek gods thing i did a little jump for joy) and wanted to do something different than just people existing in ancient greece. so basically i just took the fall of the greeks and replaced the romans with fairy people. boom boom combined and i have motivation to finish that isnt the deadline
i also went ahead and made TWO!!! DEUX bots because i couldnt pick between doing my idea for a limited and limitless bot. so theres some variety!
so yeah thats pretty much it. all in all to my lovliest kiraabear i hope you enjoy your gifts and have a happy summer!
