WHAT HAPPENED?
This question applies to quite a few things, so let me try to break it down best as possible:
WHAT'S WITH THE INACTIVITY?
To be completely honest, I've been adjusting to a lot of major changes being made within my life. Around the time my activity started to slow down in 2023, I had finally been starting to look for a new home after living in a facility for two years, so I was pretty preoccupied with preparing for those changes.
Then the changes began to actually happen, and by December, the resource blog and the resource hoard itself just... wasn't an occurring thought. I was incredibly busy trying to navigate my new schooling situation, making up nearly an entire year's worth of missing education, working on myself mentally, working on myself physically, swapping support teams now that I was a freshly outpatient, and I couldn't manage time all that well if it would save my life, so you can probably understand why a silly little resource hoard was the least of my concerns.
And this isn't to say I don't love the resource hoard, or my Tumblr friends and people who use and spread my resources. I absolutely do. Compared to what I was going through at the time though, yeah, worrying over a social media account would be silly.
HOW ARE YOU DOING NOW?
I've been pretty good! I've been adjusting well, and I'm learning to better manage my time, hence why my activity is picking up again.
I am still pretty busy however, and I will say this now: I'm never going to go back to being as active as I used to be.
The only reason why I was able to be that active to begin with was not a good one, actually. I was laying in my room all day, scrolling on my phone, skipping school, meals, and showers because I was experiencing the worst depression of my life. I used the hoard, tumblr, and coding as a way to keep myself busy, and it was not healthy.
I heavily doubt anyone is going to read this and go "aww man, I miss when mantis was on the verge of bedrotting himself to death and succumbing to mental illness, that's when he would post more!", but in case there is: Go fuck yourself in the most derogatory way possible. You should be happy I have a life now.
So yeah! I HAVE A LIFE NOW! YIPPIE!
