Frune_ei hello and welcome to the Rentry I use to document my past life as a Na'vi! it's my singular spiritual kintype, and truthfully up until my awakening in 2024 I had no idea how to navigate all this. so shoutout to The Moss Blanket and Ey'wa'eveng! I actually own TMB (#selfpromo) and the latter is a Pandora kin specific server that I owe a lot of my confidence in my Na'vi identity to.

although I don't yet remember my name, I know I was a Metkayina Wind Trader. the Tlalim would visit my clan seasonally. once I was old enough to live on my own, I asked to join them in their travels. although I loved growing up on the beachside, I wanted to explore all that Pandora had to offer. I became a Tlalim storyteller, specializing in the tale of the Toruk. I idolized the great beast so much I had it tattooed on my back. on my travels with the Wind Traders, I bonded with an Ikran. I'm not exactly sure how or when, but I have the feeling I rescued her in some way. I don't remember her name but hope to soon.

I believe Eywa can still see her children regardless of which universe or timeline they're in. even if she's not fully here on Earth the way she is on Pandora, she can reach it through us, the Na'vi that now live as humans. I make an effort to connect with Eywa in everyday life. from things as small as bringing the bugs in my house outside because all life is sacred, to visiting local wildlife preserves and staying educated on the destruction of our planet. and it just makes me happy to carry Eywa's teachings over to my life here on Earth, so why would I stop?

I don't know how much weight I put into meditation, because the unconsious mind is tricky, and I can never be sure I'm not just unintentionally making things up to 'remember.' however I do believe dreams are a reputable way to uncover memories, unless you can lucid dream of course. dreaming is how I've remembered nearly all of my current facts about my past life on Pandora.

  • I was running through the trees with my siblings, and we were leading some kind of creature closer to the men on the beach so they could kill it. we weren't scared though, because we had faith in our hunters. I don't know what Pandoran creature it was.
  • I was walking across floating rocks and woven webs with my clan and heard someone say something about the kids not getting too excited and falling off. this might've been some kind of important rite of passage I was participating in, but I'm not sure.
  • I was on a boat with my family sailing to find other reef clans. I believe we were on a trip to a neighboring reef outpost to exchange fish, baskets, and beads. we did this semi regularly to keep up alliances with other Metkayina colonies.

in 2025, on my 21st birthday in fact, I finished my songchord. half of the beads and charms were from my own collection of trinkets I've collected over the years, and the other half I bought online. I wanted it to be handmade but also involve certain stone meanings, like the peridot for my birth.

I have collected a fair amount of Avatar merch over the years but I have a lot still planned to go. I'm currently hunting the McFarlane Jake Sully's Banshee, the original blue Disney Wishables Banshee, the new Toruk plush sold at the Valley of Mo'ara, and the The Art of Avatar: The Way of Water book.
