What is a typing quirk?
typing quirks originated from homestuck but people even outside of the fandom use them, it is essentially a special way of typing. Like replacing letters with numbers, or having a symbol at the start of your messages, it can be plenty of things, even as simple as capitalizing everything you say. Why use a typing quirk?
it really depends on the person, some people do it for comfort, some people just do it for fun. it's best to ask someone directly if you're curious. personally it's a mix of both for me, as well as making my messages stand out from others.

What is your typing quirk?
mine is a little complex.

• cat puns (ex: forever would be furever, perfect would be purrfect, park would be pawrk, etc.)
• z at the end of plural words replacing s but sometimes extending to verbs (ex: dogs would be dogz, screams would be screamz)
• ee is replaced by 33 (ex: feed would be f33d)
• words are often shortened or vowels removed (ex: your becomes yr or yo)
• on occasion w will be replaced by ω (ex: whirl becomes ωhirl, while becomes ωhile)
• emphasis is put on words by making them capital (ex: WOWWWWW i can't BELIEVE you just did that !!!!)
