Idolon: The Grand Ogre

Alt Tag
A beastly reflection of Archie's worst and suppressed traits within the Idea World. The Grand Ogre twists Archie's somewhat charming stubborn courage and ambition to find fulfillment, turning them into a literal bottomless hunger for glory and battle. Around The Grand Ogre swarms innumerable spirits of ravenous mouths with toxic fangs that flow alongside with every mighty blow he throws, chewing through the Enemies of the Idea World until nothing remains, to the next, and the next, and the next. For The Grand Ogre's hunger will never be abated.

Perhaps drowning your suffering in both physical and emotional numbness has more spiritual ramifications than one may think.

Belly of The Beast

Clearly whatever this gluttonous fool is, it stands as mockery to The Grand Ogre. It shall be the one doing the devouring no longer.

Mysterious Bleeding Zone: Man-Monster

When the time comes, a pinging instinct or gut feeling will resound from deep within Archibald, his Idolon beckoning him to come to this place of supernatural power. To become one. A champion that will earn it's glory and stand for itself, a being that isn't a confused puppy that doesn't belong, but an anchor and willing shield for all that fight alongside them. Though, that fantasy isn't coming true for a long, long time.

Strange Weather

Even for someone as oblivious as Archie, he's bound to notice the strange weather going on around him. Once he gets told how it works and how to stop it, then he'll do it the only way he knows how. By walking in without a care in the world and beating up the cause of the problem.

Bio

Archie was always far bigger and tougher than everyone else his age, a fact that he's always been grateful for and has abused to it's greatest extent. Born in the poorest of the British outskirts never knowing his father and being "raised" by a mother who made a living doing.....things that would get her sliced up by Jack The Ripper if it was a couple centuries ago. To get away from the noise and potential mental scarring of the daily and nightly "activities" that made up his mother's financial contributions, Archie would spend the majority of his childhood away from home in the various alleys and slums around him. Eventually, he stumbled upon and became enamored with the illegal bare-knuckle boxing circuit, seeing it as potentially both a way to make money and as a way to overcome his frankly immensely embarrassing status as a son of a whore.

Though it would be a long time until he could ever do something like that. Until then, he would take it upon himself to continue the great British pastime of insensitively barging themselves into foreign cultures, ergo: Archie would go to the local Gypsies and insult them and their families until he managed to get one to "challenge" him to a "bare-knuckle boxing match" aka get the shit beat out of him. Again. And Again. And Again. And Again.

It wasn't until Archie's early teens when his freakish Shonen-protag tier body was developed enough to even try to fight back against the people he angered so much, and by then he had developed more than a little bit of an infamous reputation for being as tough as nails and more stubborn than a drugged up mule. As a "just" reward for his nigh suicidal behavior, Archibald would finally get his wish of participating in semi-professional illegal bare-knuckle boxing. With every fight, win or loss making Archie happier, fulfilled, very slightly richer, and yet more (in)famous. All in all, it was a tough, brutal, yet incredibly rewarding life in his eyes.

Though it was not to last, and it would all come crashing down in epic style. Because for some God-forsaken reason, a incredibly rich Japanese businessman fell hard in love with his mother of all people, with her also falling for the man. His now new stepfather also took to spoiling his now stepson rotten.

Before he could even properly process it, Archie went from getting brutally beat up in barely paved streets by half-naked hairy Gypsies twice or even three times his age to living in luxury, learning Japanese and general education from professional tutors, enrolling in fancy Japanese high school (I wonder where), and being shunted away into a dorm system he couldn't hope to comprehend because his mother and new father acted like giggling newlyweds every day. And every night. Because of fucking course, one of the few new luxuries he's not been afforded is soundproof walls at home.

In the couple years since his life got turned upside down, inside and out, and possibly temporally shifted into a different reality, Archie has somehow managed to learn decent enough conversational Japanese. Yay him. But asides from the language Archie is just....really, really confused. He finally thought he found his purpose, his calling in life however odd it may have seemed. Having your hopes and dreams ripped out from under you will make a fool out of any man, especially one so outside the norms of polite society.

Update: Its been a fair bit since Archie's been shunted into Kageoka and all the related supernatural shenanigans, and he's been doing...fine enough. Archie managed to find friends within a Chinese occultist and a quite maladjusted fellow with hair weirder than his, along a bodyguarding job for a Russian mafia princess all wrapped up into the delightful bit of chaos and financial scheming called the Census Club.

I guess I'll actually have to read and writefag in order to elaborate more on his present circumstances huh?
