Important Places
Within the continent of Dramarik, these are the places that are notable on it.
First things first, Dramarik is a vast, shadowed continent of jagged mountains, dense forests, and sprawling kingdoms, where magic, monsters, and mortal ambition intertwine beneath a sky often veiled by perpetual twilight.
Monolith Kingdom
In the central plains of the Dramarik continent. Perpetually under moonlight, this gothic citadel dominates the capital, and the kingdom maintains vigilance against the ancient Gargun beasts.
Keria
The capital city of the Monolith Kingdom, where the Grand Hollow Royal Palace sit in the center of the kingdom. It serves as the political, cultural, and military hub.
Duchy of Ironval
Located to the northwest of the capital. Rugged cliffs, lots of storms and cold winters, and strategic mountain passes make it the kingdom’s primary military bastion.
Marquisate of Sharcan
Northeast of the capital, in highland regions with jagged mountains, secluded valleys, and hidden magical groves. Ideal for secretive operations and retreats.
Barony of Muran
On the southeastern edge of the kingdom, bordering vast forests and rolling hills. Serves as a buffer zone against wild creatures and minor rebel forces.
Gorefang Canyon
A massive, jagged canyon southwest of the capital, carved over centuries by violent storms. Dangerous to traverse, often used as a natural defense or ambush site. Usually where grand fights between Gargun Beasts and Monolithians take place.
Blackthorn Forest
A dense, sprawling forest directly east of the capital, dark even at high noon under the moon’s shadow. Home to rare magical creatures and ancient ruins.
Fort Avanch
A sprawling fortress perched on the edge of the Monolith Kingdom near Gorefang Canyon. Built from blackened stone and iron, it serves as the first line of defense against the Gargun beasts. Perpetually shrouded in heat, dusty sandstorms, and near darkness the fort is known for its brutal conditions, relentless training, and near-inevitable danger for those unprepared.
There are several other kingdoms on the continent of Dramarik, but they aren't as huge or big as the Monolith Kingdom.
Their names are the Caretin Kingdom and the Vruneir Kingdom (don't have anything written for this kingdom yet).

The Prophecy
The Harbinger is a prophesied being of creation capable of reshaping — or destroying — the world itself, whose arrival is both feared and awaited across the ages.
The prophecy foretells the coming of the Harbinger, a being of unimaginable power who holds the ability to rewrite reality itself. It warns that when the Harbinger appears, kingdoms will rise and fall, bloodlines will be tested, and the balance between life, death, and magic will hang by a thread. Though some interpret it as a promise of salvation, others view it as a harbinger of doom, for the same power that can create can just as easily annihilate, leaving rulers and mortals alike in fear of what fate may be unleashed.

Laws of the Monolith Kingdom
Law of Eternal Allegiance
All subjects, regardless of race or status, must swear loyalty to the reigning monarch and the Monolithian crown. Betrayal or sedition is punishable by imprisonment, exile, or execution, depending on severity. Magical oaths and blood contracts may be invoked to enforce compliance.
Law of Arcane Conduct
Spellcasting, magical experimentation, or summoning of creatures within Monolith’s borders is strictly regulated. Unauthorized magic, especially of destructive or forbidden kinds, carries severe penalties, including loss of magical privileges or confinement in arcane wards.
Law of Blood Fealty
High-ranking nobles and military commanders must provide both counsel and military support to the crown when called upon. Refusal or failure to fulfill one’s duty undermining the kingdom’s stability may result in confiscation of lands, titles, or magical holdings.
Law of the Gargun Defense
All territories are required to maintain vigilance against Gargun beast incursions. Citizens, soldiers, and nobles alike are expected to support defensive measures and contribute to the war effort. Negligence leading to loss of life or property may result in legal and financial repercussions.
Law of Unions
All marriages among the nobility and influential families must be sanctioned by the crown, with oaths sworn in the presence of royal witnesses. Unions are intended to strengthen alliances, preserve bloodlines, and ensure loyalty to the kingdom; unions formed without approval may be declared null, and offending parties risk loss of title, lands, or favor.

Gargun Beasts
The Endless War Against the Gargun Beasts
For over a millennium, the Kingdom of Monolith has been locked in a relentless struggle against the Gargun beasts, ancient creatures that have terrorized the lands since long before the kingdom was unified. Their origins are shrouded in legend — some claim they were born from the cursed blood of fallen gods, others that they emerged from the world’s earliest shadows, predating even recorded history.
The Gargun Beasts
Gargun beasts are titanic, nightmarish predators whose forms vary, yet each carries the mark of ancient malevolence. Some are hulking and armored with jagged obsidian plates; others are shadowy and fluid, able to flow through tight spaces or disappear into darkness. Multiple eyes glow with predatory intelligence, and their maws are lined with serrated teeth capable of crushing bone. They are cunning hunters, sometimes coordinating in packs.
