How old is the Idol of Banke Bihari Temple?

Banke Bihari Temple is located Vrindavan, Uttar Pradesh. It is one of the oldest temples which is dedicated to Lord Krishna. This temple has the beautiful idol of Banke Bihari ji, a unique form of Lord Krishna. This temple is believed to be over 150 years old.

Hence, to protect the idol, priest covers the eyes of the idol and only unveiled it for few moments during the time of Aarti. Morning: 7:45 AM to 12:00 PM in summer and 8:45 AM to 1:00 PM in winter

Evening: 5:30 PM to 9:30 PM in summer and 4:30 PM to 8:30 PM in winter

Evening Aarti: 6:30 PM – 7:30 PM
