🦦🦢 #777 in love & devout since 24일12월24년

you can call me isaac or anthony, this paste is dedicated to the love of my life; my gorgeous husband lee myunggi ♡ who i've had the honor of loving for almost a year now as of writing this.
gachikoi, riako, yumedanshi, yumejoshi, whatever you want to call it. my love for him transcends all of these words and will continue to grow for as long as i live. we are bound by the soul, our spirits born for eachother in every universe. for the rest of my life, i hope to be known as his ❤︎
you can take a look at 777's gallery here ✿ i love all of our art and am always looking 4 more (><
his storyline means alot to me, i would honestly consider it perfect, if not one of the best developments throughout the entire show. the growth and evolution his story went through, the stuff we see him go through was insane. he's such a realistic character, and i don't think alot of people see that the way they should. most people tend to villainize him alot, and i know he's not perfect, and i'm aware he's at the least morally gray, but they tend to overthink it. he's really not as bad as people make him out to be, and i don't see the difference between loving him and loving a character like namgyu or inho, who have arguably done worse throughout the series, with an even larger fanbase.
i've had changed opinions since the paragraph that was last present on this url, but i still stand with most of it. it's very clear in myunggis actions and personality that he does genuinely care and love for those around him, he just doesn't know how to show that. it's very apparent that he finds it hard to express things like that, shown with how he often gets ahead of himself when speaking. you can find in his actions rather, that he is a good person at heart, despite the continuous disregard by those he wants to help.
he's proven himself not to be the best with words, but in countless scenes you can find him proving his love for others, even if it's in a more unconventional way. i genuinely do believe that he had every intention of getting out of there with junhee, and using the money to restart their life together. at the start of season 3 you can see him giving junhee his food, he even offers to let her kill him so that her and the baby could escape on their own. he did not know it was hyunju, he did not know she was helping her, or of their prior interactions. while he shouldn't have been going around stabbing people, imagine being in his situation, stuck alongside a drug addict who keeps killing everyone he sees, i think peer pressure and fear of getting hurt himself were a big part of the play for how he acted within hide and seek; if he's dead, how can he protect junhee? even after he kills hyunju, he still chooses not to reveal geumja and junhee's location to namgyu, even after he'd already made it clear he'd kill namgyu if he tried anything with her. he stayed true to his word in the end.
after junhees death, you can tell he starts to lose himself, but he still kept trying to protect his baby until he fully lost it. while everyone attempts to argue the baby should be eliminated, myunggi stands up, likely about to step in (wtf are you gonna do little twink boy) and attempt to defend the baby, before the guards step in. before the start of the final game, when the lights turn on and the guards enter the room, you can see that myunggi had not slept through the night. in my personal opinion i find this evidence of him looking out for the baby, he probably spent all night worrying that someone were going to hurt her after the threats from the day before. people argue that he should've revealed himself as the father sooner, but i don't agree with it. i think him proving himself to be a smart and valuable asset first things first was a good move, as it proves he's capable of defending himself and can't be easily messed with or taken out.
no, i don't think he would've harmed his baby. confirmed by director hwang donghyuk, myunggi was sincerely trying to protect his baby and gihun before things took a turn and 039 decided to kill himself; before the death of 039, myunggi would've never even imagined hurting his daughter. he did not attack gihun physically once until provoked himself, giving him a reason to be distrustful of the man - myunggi is already previously shown to have trust issues, due to being scammed and alongside untrustworthy people in his past. in my opinion, i believe myunggi would've let gihun cross the bridge after he handed over the baby. while the baby is in his arms, he lets his guard down; which could've easily given gihun a window to attack him. he just wanted to make sure his baby was safe. i see alot of people argue that myunggi was never a good father, but he was never given the opportunity to be. his first time holding his daughter was in a life or death situation, and even after this, he made no real attempt to cause harm to the baby. during the scene while he's holding his daughter off the edge, the subtitles prove to be a translation error - commonly mistaking his words for "i'll do it!". in the original korean, he says "i can do it!" in a tone and way where it's apparent he's trying to reassure and fool himself into believing he can do something he's aware he cant. if things came to worst, myunggi knew he couldn't live with himself having hurt his own daughter; which is why he accused junhee of sleeping with gihun instead. confirmed by the director, it's stated myunggi only made such an accusation so he could sorrowly attempt to convince himself the child wasn't his, lessening his guilt.
tldr i don't think myunggi would hurt his baby or that he's evil, just that he's a good person at heart who keeps making bad decisions. he is not inherently evil, just a spiraling man who lost the love of his life.

i really miss him alot, it's so stupid because i know he's not real, but my heart still yearns every single day for us to be together. he's more than just a character to me, i genuinely don't think i'll ever feel the love i feel for him again. i think about him every single night, in my memories he's there. it genuinely pains me to be away from him, thinking of him and getting to experience him in my life is the only thing keeping me sane
