The Gutsy Hall

Big Killer Ape Tree

I don't like golems, they bring back bad memories as few of those I have right now. I don't think this guy is a golem, and he seems peaceful, but I would still prefer to keep my distance.

Hob's House

Bastly Uggard

A vague memory about books and judgement comes to mind, I am not sure how relevant that is. He seems like genuinely nice guy from the knowledge I have of him, I never met the guy but everyone talks well about him and they don't seem to be faking it. I have been told he deals with traumas, I don't think I have any right now. It's impressive what someone with no magic could accomplish, I am not sure what that would even feel like.

Ibuki E. Fiore

A spoiled princess, somehow that feels familiar, I guess some things just never change. I am not sure how the rehabilitation is going, which is apparently why she is in the psychology guild, but she started appearing on a lot more magazines lately and she does go around completing jobs. I did have a brief encounter with her, I don't think she saw me but she has a familiar power despite her magic being completely different from mine, I will have to ask someone for clarifications.

Alaric Falk

Quite the misterious individual, he seems to have no easy to access information on his past, in his case however I assume it's on purpouse. I don't have much to say about him, like most people it would seem, he at least does not trigger any strange memory or instinct so he should be safe to approach. He also has a familar power despite having seemingly no magic, maybe it's something else that I am sensing, it would explain a lot.

Seph

This creature should by all accounts be completely alien to me, and yet I feel like I know her. I cannot even begin to comprehend how she works, or what she is, and everyone seems to be terrified of her, she does not seem that bad however. I think a meeting with her would be an interesting experience, but I don't have much time for that right now.

Moon's Watch

Father Mond

A real hero of justice, or at least that is what all the magazines say. I have heard very little personal accounts regarding him, unlike Uggard, all the info I have is from hearsay and popular opinions, the man seems to live for the fame. His goals appear noble, and public opinion seems to aggree, so I should not worry too much about him. He is also another magicless human that managed to raise to power, he apparently had to struggle less to get there but considering how things are going he is clearly doing something right. Maybe I should study him to help my own guild.

Ciara Perrons

That book memory resurfaced again, in this case it feels even less appropiate. Some sthereotypes seems to trascend memory loss. Apart from her oddly specific sense of style she seems to be a recluse, or was until recently, so not much information is available. The full extent of her power is unkown, but she does not seem likely to abuse it. What I do know is that she parctices alchemy, so she may have some useful informations for me, that is assuming my magic even works on the same principles, I don't think she would be intersted in teaching me anyway.

Yam

This child had to deal with many hardships in his life it appears, the fact he is alive is a testament to his luck surely but there has to be a base of competence there to build on I think. His magic is an interesting combination and his fighting style is unusual to say the least, but it clearly is effective as he singlehandedly shut down an entire illegal casino according to the news. I am not sure he would appreciate my presence, some people called me a demon so I would not want him to mistake me for one, and I am not sure how powerful he would become eating my misfortune.

Lanel Nol

Another prisoner, not quite as old as me since he did not trigger any memory or familiarity. The unfortunate victim of a doomed situation, even without remembering him I can't help but feel the similarity, he at least knows what he is fighting for. I don't understand why people appear so afraid or even disgusted, I have nothing but respect for his goal and determination. I feel as if my magic could help him, but I would need to understand what I can do exactly first. He also has the familiar power as others, a property I am encountering in the most varied of individuals, I at least hope he can get some use out of it. I wish him luck.

Cat Sid

I like cats, this one seems quite different however. I heard conflicting accounts on him, some call him a great hero that fights great beasts with similarly legendary creatures at his side, others claim he is just a fool with a couple of oversized cats in need of money to feed them. I am not sure which side to believe but both versions would mean he is not a problem. Regardless of scale his guild has yet to kick him out so he must be doing his hero job good enough.

Meliadne

This cat is unsettling, someone so youn looking speaking with that amount of knowledge and expertise feels very strange. She seems to specialize in organization and information so her presence outside the guild should be reduced. I visited the guild once, from up high, she also has the familiar feeling of power, I have no doubt she would be able to tell me what it is but I don't feel like interacting with her is a good idea.

Curie Lovelace

This strange looking girl deals with a type of magic that feels alien to me. She often appears in the magazines because of some new invention or other, she seems very confident in her abilities, despite the public not aggreeing with her. Her methods are also often described as unethical, but never properly described so I cannot judge if it's true. Most of the articles seem to be months old, so she appears to be unusually inactive for now. She almost spotted me when I visited the guild so I was able to comfirm her familar power, could that be the reason why they consider her methods unethical?

Chrysalis

Mory Pose

The leader of my new guild I guess, she looked way older on the poster. She is incredibly optimistic for someone that does not have a guild building, and has apparently been sealed in a younger form without most of her powers. Her old self seemed to quite the bad person, on account of all the torture and something that feels like pavlovian conditioning (how do I know that term?). I can feel the barely hidden anxiety she has a mile away and the fact she is a child right now makes me feel bad for her. I sometimes think her mind got regressed with the rest of her because she acts as a child, but maybe she was just always like this. She is really weak and in need of protection, maybe it's stupid of me to hope she can learn her lesson and be better in the future but I can at least try. I may not remember my past but I at least want to work on a good future. Why do I feel this already happened to me?

The Woman with No Name

One of the main reasons I even tried to join the guild. This woman is lacking in many thing, common sense, clothes particularly in the underwear departement, subtlety, maybe inteligence (I am not sure, she may just be ignorant, which would be a lack of knowledge), memories (like me), she even lacks a name. What she does have however is passion, for some very specific things but still you have to respect that. She also feels very familiar, I am not sure the feeling is mutual but she did say I looked strange, which may not mean anything now that I think about it, most people say I look strange, she was the first one to do it with a smile however. She is very powerful and loves fighting, I don't particularly share that sentiment but at least she can back up most of her, very frequent, threats and challenges. Of course since she also lost her memmory she is not the best sorce of information on my magic, or the world, but I felt like I had to meet with her, hopefully it was not a bad decision, my instinct has yet to fail me so far. I call her Brimstone, it feels appropiate.

Mitra Albus

The other reason I wanted to join the guild. She is a hystorian, which means she may recognize my magic and at least explain what it's supposed to do. She is another odd character, she is clearly not happy to be here but stays anyway, as of right now she is the main reason we have a camp at all (while Brimstone is the reason why we keep having to make a new one) and stays in her corner studying her cards and discoveries when not needed. She does not seem particularly appoachable so I will wait a while before starting to ask questions, maybe she will open up with time, or even be intesrested in my magic without prompting. I have a lot to learn, and more time before accidentally uneathing my past feels like a good idea for now.

Layla

The newest member, like me. We joined at the same time, she was apparently lured in with the promise of food, considering her diet I think she may have misunderstood. She seems like a nice girl, a bit obsessed and cultish in her belief but still more bearable than other alternatives. Her magic feels ancient, but I don't think she is. She decided to stick around for a while, I would not blame he for leaving after the whole camp situation, maybe she was also driven by pity, or maternal instinct? I may not know the reason but it makes me feel slightly less insane simply because I am not the only one. Her Habit of having copies of herself around that stay in giant snake form is a bit strange, I never know how I should treat them, do I treat the as pets or do I just treat them as her? Do they share memories? I hope she did not get offended when I pet her copy the other day, I did not know she was a transformed clone yet.

Hag's Hex

Vera Escher

A woman of peculiar proportions that runs a series of estabilishments dedicated to all kinds of entertainement, particularly chance based games. She gives me a differend kind of feeling of familiarity, the one that tells me to stay as far away from her as possible. Her magic power does not seem too threatening but her general disposition and the company she keeps are bad news. It's such a shame I may be forced to interact with her in the future, and that one of the few people I know in this forsaken world works for her.

Axel Starr

If gambing was a person it would be him. He is shady and manipulative, he tried to scam me the very first time we met, and his magic is as tricky as him. Despite all that I cannot bring myself to hate the guy, at least he is professional and respectful about it. I should avoid him like the rest of his guild but unlike his boss I can at least talk to him. His magic is oddly familar as well, but not like the others, if I was not sure he would lie to me and try to trick me for it I would be tempted to ask him about it. All of this makes me wonder, why am I so good at recognizing this kind of people?

Luckuv Thadraw

Another odd one, probably the single most negative interaction I had since I awakened, at least on the personal level. She seems such a nice girl, almost out of place in the shady casino, but she revealed he true face after prolonged exposure. Her magic is very annoying and she kept using it on me constantly, I don't even understand what I did wrong, I don't think I offended her in any direct way, I barely spoke to her. It must be something I have done, I could feel her hostility the whole time, she hid it well from everyone else however. I am not sure if I want to find out and apologize, I would rather keep ignoring her.

Marak "The Boozehound"

One of the few people that I actually know, and one I would like to consider a friend. We had a strange first meeting, he just jumped in front of one of mys spikes and ate it during a job, he did not even have a reason to do that, we had to beat the same guy. After a strange conversation and some awkward apologies he invited me back to his guild for drinks. I was even offered a place there but the feeling of dread the whole place gave me was to big to ignore. I am not an expert on people but I am pretty sure he is crazy, and he seems almost as clueless as me of society and how it works, but because of that he apparently had no problems with me. He likes the metal my magic produces, and sometimes we meet up in the city, I try to stay away from his workplace but that may not possible soon enough.

Forest Embrace

Big Lover Resting Stone

It's a big tree that likes people, it's less mobile than the golem and less tied to bad memories but still strange. I do wonder if they know eachother.

Church of Mana

Saintess of Mana

When presented with the information about her church there was a voice in the back of my head that kept screaming "it's a cult", but how would I know that? She has strange beliefs and managed to gather a discrete following it seems like, but my information is too vague to judge her properly. Somehow I am not inclined to amend to that.

Mistress Fist

I think she is in the wrong guild, must have misuderstood what the church is about. She is certainly dedicated to her craft, but I am in no hurry to meet her, I don't even know why exactly, I just feel like it's better like this.

Magic Council

Regier Bunkan

I don't know much about the new systems in place but apparently this guy works as a guard for papers? Or was it that he fights with paper? I asked my guild mates and they told me to not worry about it too much and that there are more important things to learn, so I will ignore him for the time being. Hopefully he ignores me as well, but the laws of this land feel so strange sometimes.

Notable individuals

Hilda Verblitz

Apparently known as a problematic individual. I only know her from articles of her misdeeds, currently out of a guild. I am not sure she would fit in with mine, we have some... problems at the moment, and one violent woman constantly looking for a fight is probably enough.

Buster Henry

A rather strange man, convinced to be magicless but very powerful. Apart from this peculiarity he seems a stand up citizien, I think that is what they call them. He is used to building and working so he could be able to help in our current predicament, but I am not sure he would be willing to, the kid used to have too bad a reputation.

Sebastian Stone

I only know his name and face, if you can call it that, because he apparently plastered it all over the city with some oddly specific challenges to some people I recognize as adventurers. He seems to have a grudge with the world and hate stupid people, which sadly for him seems to be most of the population going by the posters. He deals in the same strange magic I don't recognize like that one girl, but in a much more weponized fashion. I don't really have anything against him but I fear he does not share this opinion. He has something familiar about him, but it feels more blurry than usual, maybe it will get clearer if i meet him personally. I don't think it's worth it.

Niera Flamey

Her energy is incredible, but also quite annoying. She hangs around with the Brimstone lady sometimes, apparently she is a torist, whatever that means. She has the familar power I keep sensing in others, but that may simply be because of her tendency to copy magic from other people. I am not sure if the feeling is from her own power or not, regardless she does not give me any hostile feelings so at least I can be a bit calmer.

Lucius McShade

The unfortunate victim of a recent identity theft, which is something I strangely find familiar, and a mercenary. His skills seem to be simple but efective, and he uses a piece of seacraft as weapon, I am not sure why. Not much information is available on him, but he does seem good at his job at least.
