Nashimoto Ui (梨本うい)/Nashimoto We/Nashimoto-P (梨本P) is a vocal synth producer well known for his unique post-punk, garage/alt rock music style, similarly to Wowaka (RIP). His song themes often talk about struggles he has within his life or his thoughts/opinions on the world. He is also known for making songs that speak on the more dark sides of life that we don't often like to talk about. On Spotify, he has over 145k monthly listeners with 4 albums out and 1 EP.
While he is known for using Hatsune Miku in his songs, recently he has been making a use of Koharu Rikka. His tuning style is rather unique, while most producers I've listened to tend to lean into realism or embracing the sort of chiptune base vocals, Nashimoto Ui tunes to make the vocals sound hoarse and rough similar to punk vocalists.
Music videos uploaded for his songs deviate from normal MVs too, most commonly they are white-on-black images akin to a child's doodle with lyrics pictured along the screen in time with the song.
Some of his most popular and recognized songs are
- AaAaAaAAaAaAAa (あぁあぁあぁああぁあぁああぁ)
