NCLEX-PN Study Schedule Template: A Week-by-Week Plan and Free Countdown for LPN Students

Most NCLEX-PN prep stalls because students have resources but no schedule. A study schedule template turns "I should study" into a specific block on a specific day, with a way to see which topics are still weak. Here is a simple layout you can copy, plus free and paid templates if you would rather not build it yourself.

How to set up your NCLEX-PN study schedule

  1. Lock in your test date first. Count backward from it. Most students do well with 6 to 8 weeks of steady prep.
  2. Pick your study days and protect a rest day. Four to five short sessions a week beats one exhausting weekend cram.
  3. Pair content review with practice questions every session. Review a topic, then do a set of questions on it the same day.
  4. Log every practice set. Write the topic, number of questions, score, and what you missed. Your weak areas pick next week's focus.
  5. Leave the last week light. Mixed review sets, sleep, and test-day logistics. No new content the night before.
