[02:41] Maria Malibu gestures, 'where's the dead body?' Putting emphasis on gesturing slicing her neck.
(Maria Malibu)

[02:41] Maria Malibu exclaims, "!!!"
[02:41] Levius W. Malibu says, "Maria... this here is Snapshot."
[02:41] Grey says, "Oh! Interesting... I actually had business with them, but it's a bit late now, solved I think... Can't say I've ever met either."
[02:41] Christophore Garijn crumples into a pile of meat on the floor from the sudden poking pain.
(Christophore Garijn)

[02:41] Behitha says, "--"
[02:41] Maria Malibu asks, "???"
[02:41] Søleil asks, "Oooh?"
[02:41] Søleil says, "."
[02:41] Kip says, "Maria. I'm glad to meet you. Myself and Levius are partners."
[02:41] Maria Malibu extends her hand, offering a handshake. It would gesture 'it's nice to meet you!
(Maria Malibu)

[02:42] Levius W. Malibu says, "Ayup."
[02:42] Søleil says, "."
[02:42] Behitha is taken aback.
(Behitha)

[02:42] Søleil exclaims, "Is there a pandemic? Everyone is down!"
[02:42] Grey says, "They're jusy fooling around."
[02:42] Mari Dominic says, "..."
[02:42] Søleil says, "Oh, okay."
[02:42] Maria tilts her head. Partners?

She gasps, placing a hand on her chest and looking at Levius!

...Was that...jealousy, in her hues?

She huffs...
(Maria Malibu)

[02:42] Christophore Garijn says, "...I'm still rather hut so just... getting poked all of a sudden just huts."
[02:42] Grey says, "Anyway, no, it was handled. "
[02:42] Levius W. Malibu says, "...Aw, sweetie, don't be jealous."
[02:43] Gwyndolyn's lip curls. She seems displeased with this answer, though the displeasure is shown only briefly. A quiet sigh escapes past her lips, and she... still has not let go of that hand.

"Do you need to be defined? Do you need a friend?"
(Gwyndolyn P. Kasca)

[02:43] Grey says, "Yeah you're a mess."
[02:43] Søleil exclaims, "Ah, a shame. We love to help people!"
[02:43] Levius W. Malibu says, "He's quite the good police-officer."
[02:43] Søleil says, "Well-"
[02:43] Søleil exclaims, "Goddess Azalea does!"
[02:43] Grey says, "You should buy that 'black oil' off the auction house."
[02:43] Stienar Thorruhn says, "Look whose back."
[02:43] Levius W. Malibu exclaims, "Snapshot!"
[02:43] Christophore Garijn says, "No money."
[02:43] Levius W. Malibu says, "Come say hi to my sister."
[02:43] Grey says, "... yeah, I know the feeling."
[02:43] Snapshot Óir-Gaire says, "Hi'z."
[02:43] Grey says, "I see."
[02:43] Maria Malibu grumbles. She is supposed to be your deputy!!!
(Maria Malibu)

[02:43] Behitha says, "<'It's getting loud. Do not die until we next meet.'>"
[02:43] Levius W. Malibu says, "That is NOT my sister."
[02:43] Christophore Garijn says, "And in all honestly, I think someone like Mellionette would need that much more than me."
[02:43] Levius W. Malibu says, "This is."
[02:43] Maria Malibu says, "..."
[02:43] Snapshot Óir-Gaire said hi to the wrong person.
(Snapshot Óir-Gaire)

[02:43] Behitha nods to Christophore before leaving.
(Behitha)

[02:43] Levius W. Malibu says, "That is Kip-"
[02:43] Grey asks, "Tandava's wife?"
[02:43] Levius W. Malibu says, "Oh my Gods."
[02:44] Christophore Garijn says, "Yes"
[02:44] Grey winces.
(Grey)

[02:44] Grey asks, "How bad?"
[02:44] {Maliland02das} Maria Malibu transmits: "<div class='mImg' style='background:url(e_transceiver.png)'></div> <span class='transceiver'>{Maliland02das} <b>Maria Malibu</b> transmits: "You really have to teach me how to be a police officer like you, Levi. I think i'd fit right in!"</span>
[02:44] [TRANSCEIVER]
{Maliland02das} Maria Malibu transmits: "You really have to teach me how to be a police officer like you, Levi. I think i'd fit right in!"
[02:44] Maria Malibu types into her transciever!
(Maria Malibu)

[02:44] Christophore Garijn says, "I'm wondering how she is still alive bad."
[02:44] Maria Malibu looks at the wierd goblin, taken a bit aback!
(Maria Malibu)

[02:44] [TRANSCEIVER]
{Maliland02das} Levius W. Malibu transmits: "we're more than police , unfortunately"
[02:44] Grey says, "Caius, THAT bad? "
[02:44] [TRANSCEIVER]
{Maliland02das} Levius W. Malibu transmits: "soldiiers, too."
[02:44] Christophore Garijn says, "I'm wondering how she isn't a synthetic with all that arcanium in her bad."
[02:45] Grey says, "... Well... something to do, then..."
[02:45] {Maliland02das} Maria Malibu transmits: "<div class='mImg' style='background:url(e_transceiver.png)'></div> <span class='transceiver'>{Maliland02das} <b>Maria Malibu</b> transmits: "I wanna be just like you, Levi!"</span>
[02:45] [TRANSCEIVER]
{Maliland02das} Maria Malibu transmits: "I wanna be just like you, Levi!"
[02:45] Maria Malibu nods toward her brother!
(Maria Malibu)

[02:45] Grey says, "Right... Anyway, Soleil, it's fine."
[02:45] [TRANSCEIVER]
{Maliland02das} Levius W. Malibu transmits: "you got it, dear deputy."
[02:45] Stienar hopped up from the bench as they walked over towards Jaherr and tried lifting them up. "I can barely hear myself think here. I'm dragging you off to the inn for a glass of whiskey." and with that he would try hauling them off.
(Stienar Thorruhn)

[02:45] Grey says, "We've got old Talguth to handle it now."
[02:45] Maria Malibu exclaims, "!!!"
[02:45] Maria Malibu smiles.
(Maria Malibu)

[02:45] Nodding firmly, still stone-faced, Kip accepts the hand and shakes it lightly. Not a firm shake. Probably because he's wearing gauntlets.

"It should be implied... But please inform me if you run into any trouble. I'll do my best to support your needs as a citizen."

Turning stiffly on his heels, the guardsman takes a step back and nods shallowly to Snapshot.

"We can be introduced anyway. Kipley Lagorium, Guardsman of Martyr's Vigil. Feel free to report any wrongdoing to me, so the proper paperwork can be submitted before we follow up on it."
(Kip)

[02:45] Levius W. Malibu ruffles his sister's hair.
(Levius W. Malibu)

[02:45] Jaherr Valkynia exclaims, "Oh gods!"
[02:46] Levius W. Malibu says, "Yep-yep, ol' reliable Kip."
[02:46] Someone tilts her head to the side. If she's uncomfortable with continuing to hold Gwyn's hand, she hasn't shown any signs of it.

"Is that... something I should be concerned with? I haven't really felt like I need to be defined..."

Her eyes wander into the distance, before darting back.

"But I like friends."
(Someone You Know)

[02:46] Levius W. Malibu says, "Do enjoy yourselves, I think the doofuses goin' to the inn need some service."
[02:46] Christophore Garijn says, "...hm..."
[02:47] Christophore Garijn asks, "...ah right. That's the other dominic I haven't met yet, isn't it?"
[02:47] Søleil exclaims, "Ooo!"
[02:47] Søleil says, "Tal..."
[02:47] Mari Dominic stares at Christophore now. Her gaze is like stepping on a thumbtack.
(Mari Dominic)

[02:47] Søleil says, "Guth..."
[02:47] Søleil says, "I have heard the name before."
[02:47] Gwyndolyn P. Kasca smiles, then!
(Gwyndolyn P. Kasca)

[02:47] Grey says, "It's an odd creature, but a helpful one."
[02:47] Gwyndolyn P. Kasca exclaims, "Okay! I'm so glad we are friends!"
[02:47] Someone You Know smiles.
(Someone You Know)

[02:47] Someone You Know says, "Good! I like friends."
[02:47] Christophore Garijn does not realy seem to care. He just just looked straight at her through his red sunglasses.
(Christophore Garijn)

[02:47] Gwyndolyn P. Kasca says, "I'll invite you for tea, sometime! And then you can meet all your other friends."
[02:47] Christophore Garijn says, "...lets just get to it. The hour isn't exactly favorable for alot of people."
[02:47] Grey says, "True, it isn't."
[02:47] Someone You Know asks, "I have even more friends??"
[02:47] Grey says, ".. beter for me to rest soon."
[02:47] Someone You Know looks elated.
(Someone You Know)

[02:47] Søleil exclaims, "Have a good rest!"
[02:48] Christophore Garijn says, "I'm probably the only mortyl priest that is around on meranthe still. So, if you ever have any questions, don't hesitate to ask."
[02:48] Grey says, "Anyway, Talguth's a good sort despite his creepy and suspicious looks."
[02:48] Grey says, "Be well, then, everyone..."
[02:48] Maria nods, accepting and understanding her peer's words. There was a glint in her eye as she shook his hand. A desire, even. Perhaps...even some sort of jealousy?

She dearly wanted to be just like her brother. And while she couldn't express herself with words, the excitement in her hue was clear as day.

Being a lawman? It was the perfect job for her.

She smiles and gives them a firm grip, nodding as they did so. She places a hand on her chest, mouthing 'Maria' if they did not hear her brother mere moments before. It was easy to speak when someone could interpret for her, her dear brother being quite good at that.

With her attention focused on Kip, she nods at his words, canary hues flicking toward the odd goblin. She points at him, as if to say 'who's that guy?'

She approaches...

She gazes at the goblin, curious. In truth, she had never quite seen one up close before. There was a mischevious nature to him that she couldn't quite grasp.

Kip better keep his head on a swivel.
(Maria Malibu)

[02:48] Marfons Emeraldi says, "Goodnight Grey."
[02:48] Mari Dominic says, "My power grows."
[02:48] Someone You Know says, "Gosh, everyone's so nice to me."
[02:48] Gwyndolyn P. Kasca exclaims, "Of course!"
[02:49] Gwyndolyn P. Kasca asks, "Why wouldn't we be?"
[02:49] Grey says, "Vigil's a good place with good people."
[02:49] Someone You Know says, "I dunno! It just makes me happy."
[02:49] Marfons Emeraldi says, "I'm going to go perform risks now."
[02:49] Christophore Garijn says, "And if you don't have questions concerning lady death, then that is also fine."
[02:49] Mari Dominic fixes her gaze on Maria Malibu, and though neither of them know it, their fates as eternal, bitter rivals have just been sealed. A highlander situation, really.
(Mari Dominic)

[02:49] Someone You Know asks, "Do you think it's the hair?"
[02:50] Gwyndolyn P. Kasca says, "It's because of all the memories we made together."
[02:50] Maria Malibu feels a stern gaze staring at her....
(Maria Malibu)

[02:50] Someone You Know blinks, then nods eagerly.
(Someone You Know)

[02:50] Kip says, "Maria... Understood. Please excuse that I'm not, much of a conversationalist."
[02:50] Someone You Know exclaims, "Of course!"
[02:50] Someone You Know says, "I'm just joking around."
[02:50] Grey yawns.
(Grey)

[02:50] Gwyndolyn P. Kasca exclaims, "Heehee!"
[02:50] Mari Dominic says, "..."
[02:50] Someone You Know says, "You've always been so fun to joke with."
[02:51] Mari Dominic says, "Mm. What do you know about Lady Mortyl."
[02:51] Mari Dominic looks now to Christophore.
(Mari Dominic)

[02:51] Levius W. Malibu says, "Hi-hi, little outlaw."
[02:51] Grey asks, "... Do you want me to have a look?"
[02:51] Levius W. Malibu ruffles his sister's hair and pulls her for a side-hug.
(Levius W. Malibu)

[02:51] Someone You Know asks, "Huh?"
[02:51] Grey says, "Ah, nevermind. Doctor's habit"
[02:51] Someone You Know asks, "Is somebody injured?"
[02:52] Gwyndolyn P. Kasca exclaims, "Nope!"
[02:52] Levius W. Malibu asks, "Keepin' your gun well-maintained, mm?"
[02:52] Grey says, "Probably somewhere."
[02:52] Christophore Garijn says, "I'm a priest of her. So decently enough. Also caught a glimpse of her in the past."
[02:52] Gwyndolyn P. Kasca asks, "Grey just gets worried all the time, remember?"
[02:52] Gwyndolyn P. Kasca says, "He's such a worrywart."
[02:52] Grey says, "..."
[02:52] Grey says, "Fair."
[02:52] Grey says, "Accurate."
[02:52] Someone You Know exclaims, "You should take a break sometime, Grey!"
[02:52] Levius W. Malibu says, "Should probably get that stuff written on it by Lavenza when they're available, Mari."
[02:52] Gwyndolyn P. Kasca says, "Yeah, totally."
[02:52] Someone You Know says, "It's like we never see each other anymore."
[02:52] Mari Dominic says, "Oh. That's nice."
[02:52] Grey says, "We've never met."
[02:52] Someone You Know says, "You can't save the world without saving yourself first-"
[02:52] Mari Dominic asks, "How did it happen. Did you die?"
[02:52] Someone You Know looks shocked and concerned.
(Someone You Know)

[02:52] Maria Malibu nods toward her brother!
(Maria Malibu)

[02:52] Someone You Know asks, "What?"
[02:52] Maria Malibu exclaims, "Mm!"
[02:52] Levius W. Malibu says, "Good, good."
[02:53] Levius W. Malibu asks, "I'll teach you some sign language when I can, oay?"
[02:53] Grey asks, "Pretty sure?"
[02:53] Someone You Know says, "Oh. Oh, okay."
[02:53] Gwyndolyn P. Kasca pat-pats Someone on the shoulder...
(Gwyndolyn P. Kasca)

[02:53] Someone You Know says, "Um. Sorry. I must've gotten you mixed up with someone."
[02:53] Christophore Garijn says, "Me, your father and a good few others went on a trip to babylon, a city build by the sisters of mortyl, aspects of her."
[02:53] Snapshot stumbles back over the cushion by the red carpet after having himself greeting the wrong person, doing the exact opposite of what he was told by Levius to do.

"Iz pleasure to meet you." He bobs his head towards Kip, until noticing Maria approaching him, the Goblin does not say anything nor greet her, he was pretty much just having a staring contest with the girl.

It's either the goblin have nothing to say... Or he thinks he already greeted Levius' sister after he mistook Kip as the sister.
(Snapshot Óir-Gaire)

[02:53] Levius W. Malibu says, "If you'd like."
[02:53] Grey says, "Oh, no, it's perfectly fine."
[02:53] Christophore Garijn says, "There, mortyl just appeared for a short moment. Enough that we could see her. Not enough that we could talk with her."
[02:53] Levius W. Malibu says, "...Snapshot, THIS is my sister, Maria."
[02:53] Grey says, "It's nice to meet you though. Gwynny's good company. "
[02:53] Mari Dominic says, "Oh. So you didn't die."
[02:53] Levius W. Malibu says, "Say hi."
[02:53] Someone You Know glances towards Gwyndolin, looking for some sort of assistance.
(Someone You Know)

[02:53] Mari Dominic sighs.
(Mari Dominic)

[02:53] Gwyndolyn P. Kasca exclaims, "It's okay, Someone!"
[02:53] Someone You Know exclaims, "Oh. Right! Yes!"
[02:53] Gwyndolyn P. Kasca says, "You can't know -everyone-."
[02:53] Someone You Know asks, "I can't?"
[02:53] Christophore Garijn says, "No. But I gave some people the experience of dying."
[02:53] Gwyndolyn P. Kasca says, "Yeah, it's pretty hard."
[02:53] Christophore Garijn says, "You could ask them on that aspect if you care about it."
[02:53] Grey says, "Mhm. Lots of people out there."
[02:53] Mari Dominic says, "I would like to do that too."
[02:53] Gwyndolyn P. Kasca asks, "Like I don't know the current King of Byson, you know?"
[02:54] Someone You Know asks, "You don't?"
[02:54] A beat. Kip turns on his heels, and strides over to Mari. Heavy, thudding steps, dull-grey eyes set on the young one with INTENT.

"Excuse me.

Guardsman Kipley Lagorium. Can I ask you a few questions?"

A beat. He raises a gauntleted hand, and lays it flat at his head-height. Squinting a bit.

"Are you a child? Excuse me. It's hard to recognise the scale, from... Up here."

Thin-lipped. There's nothing smug about it.
(Kip)

[02:54] Gwyndolyn P. Kasca exclaims, "No!"
[02:54] Mari Dominic says, "Give some people the experience of dying."
[02:54] Someone You Know says, "Everyone knows him, though."
[02:54] Mari Dominic says, "..."
[02:54] Gwyndolyn P. Kasca asks, "Well, what's his name, then?"
[02:54] Levius W. Malibu says, "Kip, you can be friendlier."
[02:54] Christophore Garijn says, "Hm... something tells me that what I do and what you'd do are not the same."
[02:54] Someone You Know says, "Well, it's..."
[02:54] Levius W. Malibu says, "Go by Kip, ask 'em how they are, an' all."
[02:54] Grey says, "... Anyway, about the break-"
[02:54] Someone You Know asks, "He's a king! How can you ask something like that?"
[02:54] Gwyndolyn P. Kasca giggles!
(Gwyndolyn P. Kasca)

[02:55] Gwyndolyn P. Kasca exclaims, "I'm a princess, I'm allowed!"
[02:55] Grey says, "I was trying to take a vacation, you know, but ahm... pirates, atrellya, you know."
[02:55] Someone You Know says, "Oh. "
[02:55] Kip asks, "Well, that's-- If someone doesn't have anything to report, they're doing well, right?"
[02:55] Gwyndolyn P. Kasca says, "Makes sense, Grey."
[02:55] Someone You Know nods along.
(Someone You Know)

[02:55] "Uwh...." While the girl was a mute, her vocal cords seemed to be in tact. She makes a soft noise toward the goblin, blinking as it approached her.

"..."

Why was she staring at him for so long?

"!!!" She nods, smiling and bowing to the goblin. She'd offer a handshake as well, if...not a bit confused at why he was staring at her so oddly.

She'd simply do the same

Either she found it funny, or she did not have the social cues to understand.
(Maria Malibu)

[02:56] The Dominic's gaze trails up to the giant's face, her piercing red hues as oxymoronically dull as his greys. She blinks slowly at him as he asks her questions about questions, and she narrows her eyes a little.

"You are already asking me a few questions," the ten-year-old says, haughtily putting her hands on her hips as she regards the Lagorium.

She stares at him as though one might stare at a cockroach! Then again, she did that to Everyone.
(Mari Dominic)

[02:56] Maria Malibu is in a staring contest with the goblin man.
(Maria Malibu)

[02:56] Grey says, "Well, you know"
[02:56] Grey says, "We have a bit of time once we deal with the pirates."
[02:57] Someone You Know says, "I've always disliked those pirates..."
[02:57] Grey says, "I'll get married and take it easy for a bit."
[02:57] Someone You Know says, "So mean."
[02:57] Grey says, "Oh they're dreadful."
[02:57] Gwyndolyn P. Kasca asks, "Who likes pirates anyway?"
[02:57] Grey says, "Really. Mean."
[02:57] Someone You Know exclaims, "That's the word I would use!"
[02:57] Someone You Know says, "Just no good."
[02:57] Levius W. Malibu asks, "Dreadful, because they're the Dreadfleet?"
[02:57] Levius W. Malibu says, "Ha."
[02:57] Someone You Know says, "Yeah! Grey's always been good with puns like that."
[02:57] Levius W. Malibu exclaims, "...Sure!"
[02:57] Gwyndolyn P. Kasca says, "Hohoho."
[02:58] Someone You Know says, "He's very clever."
[02:58] Levius W. Malibu says, "He's known for his great humor."
[02:58] Grey says, "I've been known to be a bit clever. I did win that poetry competition in Xuefeng."
[02:58] "Excuse me. I'll isolate it. Are you receptive to answering questions, starting from this moment?

You're not suspected of anything. I'm just canvassing for information."

There doesn't seem to be any motion involved. He just suddenly has a black-lacquered pen and a sheet of parchment in either hand.
(Kip)

[02:58] Grey says, "Because Marfons made me do it."
[02:58] Someone You Know says, "Oh, they're extra tough in Xeufeng."
[02:59] Someone You Know asks, "Marfon's so persistent, isn't he?"
[02:59] Mari Dominic says, "Ask and you shall receive, Jotunn."
[02:59] Grey says, "He sure is."
[02:59] Mari Dominic says, "I am a merciful Lady."
[02:59] Levius W. Malibu says, "Doubt."
[02:59] Levius W. Malibu says, "Oh, I said that out loud."
[02:59] Levius W. Malibu says, "Whoooops"
[02:59] Mari Dominic says, ". . ."
[02:59] Christophore Garijn quietly steps off of his position, sitting down somewhere. And taking care of the raven he was keeping in his coat. It seems old by now.
(Christophore Garijn)

[02:59] Grey says, "Well, I must go though... It's far too late for me to be up."
[02:59] Someone You Know nods.
(Someone You Know)

[02:59] Levius W. Malibu says, "Yes-yes."
[02:59] Kip says, "Have you been contacted by, or been made aware of, any 'gangs'? We've had reports of groups of youths attempting relatively small-scale robberies. "
[02:59] Someone You Know exclaims, "WAY past your bedtime!"
[02:59] The Goblin? He was waiting for the girl to say something towards him; His gaze was almost unblinking, it was half open even... With that boredom hitting him in the head and all that, he's got not much to do.

His attention shifts towards Levius for a moment, and then back to the younger Malibu.

"..." Then he stares at Levius once again.

Maybe he's waiting for him to explain why the girl was staring at him saying absolutely nothing? Or maybe he's just! Not sure what to do here other than having a staring contest.

Until finally.. "Lev." He calls out. "Why'z she staring'z?"
(Snapshot Óir-Gaire)

[02:59] Someone You Know says, "Always overworking yourself."
[02:59] Grey says, "It is"
[02:59] Grey says, "True."
[02:59] Grey says, "Definitely true."
[02:59] Someone You Know exclaims, "Straight to bed!"
[02:59] Someone You Know exclaims, "Bye bye!!"
[03:00] Levius W. Malibu says, "...Uh."
[03:00] Someone You Know waves.
(Someone You Know)

[03:00] Grey says, "Mhm, straight to bed. See you around! Be well."
[03:00] Levius W. Malibu exclaims, "She wants you to tell her what kind of things you enjoy!"
[03:00] Levius W. Malibu says, "As do I."
[03:00] Mari Dominic says, "Gangs? I'd do no such thing, but I was robbed by a man who was angrily referred to as 'Philip' and accosted thereafter by a ruffian named 'De'Marcy,' who I later wrung an apology out of."
[03:00] Levius W. Malibu says, "Bye, Grey."
[03:00] Levius W. Malibu says, "Be well."
[03:00] Someone You Know blinks.
(Someone You Know)

[03:00] Grey asks, "Philip?"
[03:01] Levius W. Malibu says, "Again with that guy, guh."
[03:01] Christophore Garijn says, "Phillip."
[03:01] Sterling Starling enters a staring competition with Gwyndolyn.
(Sterling Starling)

[03:01] Levius W. Malibu says, "We should patrol for him soon."
[03:01] Kip asks, "Philip... We've received reports of a 'Philip' staging robberies on the roads. Can you remember the location of the crime?"
[03:01] Grey says, "... Philip."
[03:01] Someone You Know says, "Careful, she's good at those..."
[03:01] Mari Dominic says, "I nearly beat him too, but De'Maryl took his arm."
[03:01] Levius W. Malibu says, "She's not."
[03:01] Levius W. Malibu says, "She's easy to distract."
[03:01] Snapshot Óir-Gaire asks, "Who iz Phillip'z?"
[03:01] Someone You Know says, "Oh."
[03:01] Levius W. Malibu says, "...Some guy robbing kids."
[03:01] Someone You Know exclaims, "Yeah, you got this in the bag!"
[03:01] Levius W. Malibu says, "Get 'er, Sterling."
[03:01] Alas, the girl did not have the ability to communicate with her lips. She frowns, hoping that the goblin man would understand that she was merely a mute.

She stares harder, flicking her gaze at her brother for a few moments before staring back at the goblin.

She analyzes, delivering a blank expression before smiling.

She gestures to her brother...

'He's kinda cute.' she remarks with a smile and through mere hand gestures.
(Maria Malibu)

[03:02] Mari Dominic says, "Mmmm."
[03:02] Grey says, "Cielia."
[03:02] Snapshot Óir-Gaire asks, "Can I'z throw pine cone at Phillip'z?"
[03:02] Grey says, "That was the name"
[03:02] Mari Dominic says, "The boarlands south of the Volcanic Moore."
[03:02] Kip says, "Common location... But it widens our sample size..."
[03:03] Kip says, "Thank you. This is useful information."
[03:03] Someone You Know asks, "Who's winning?"
[03:03] Levius pat-pats his sister as he sits on the ground, and nods to Snapshot's question.

The tiniest of pushes is given towards the little girl, at her remark, accompanied by a quick nod.
(Levius W. Malibu)

[03:03] Mari Dominic says, "I knew it would be."
[03:03] Levius W. Malibu says, "Sure."
[03:04] Kip says, "Levius. Do you have the prior report on Philip on you? Best to just add an additional location to his area of operations, rather than issue an entire new report."
[03:04] Levius W. Malibu says, "I'm Nilhirra's resident staring competition champion for years straight now."
[03:04] Levius W. Malibu nods, a little too proudly.
(Levius W. Malibu)

[03:05] Levius W. Malibu says, "Sorry, I'll see."
[03:05] Levius W. Malibu says, "Yeah, sure."
[03:05] Levius W. Malibu says, "Gimme a paper."
[03:05] Levius W. Malibu asks, "Kip?"
[03:05] Kip says, "Operations now include the grasslands south of Glufdor's Peak."
[03:05] Levius W. Malibu says, "...Right, okay."
[03:05] Levius W. Malibu says, "I'll give you your own copy."
[03:05] Levius W. Malibu says, "No need for an additional report."
[03:06] Christophore Garijn quietly pets his crow, while feeding it some more meat.
(Christophore Garijn)

[03:07] Levius W. Malibu says, "Yours."
[03:07] Levius W. Malibu says, "Keep it."
[03:07] Levius W. Malibu says, "Remind me to patrol wit'cha sometime, or go with anyone else."
[03:08] Levius W. Malibu says, "Kipster, I have a consult for you later."
[03:08] Levius W. Malibu says, "A little too tired."
[03:08] Christophore Garijn asks, "Hm... Tell me, where were we when we got interrupted?"
[03:09] Kip asks, "...A consult?"
[03:09] Levius W. Malibu says, "Yeahg."
[03:09] Levius W. Malibu says, "Yeah."
[03:09] Levius W. Malibu says, "Hit a stump in a case."
[03:09] Kip says, "Well-- I won't keep you, if you need rest. We can follow up on this later, as you like."
[03:09] Levius W. Malibu says, "Yeah, sure."
[03:09] Levius W. Malibu says, "I'm idlin' around right now."
[03:09] Levius W. Malibu asks, "Damn, still goin' at the starin' contest?"
[03:10] Levius W. Malibu says, "Wow."
[03:10] Levius W. Malibu says, "New outfit."
[03:10] Levius W. Malibu says, "Nice."
[03:10] Levius W. Malibu says, "Yum, I guess."
[03:10] Levius W. Malibu says, "That has to be racist."
[03:10] Levius W. Malibu says, "Just because I'm an ookami does not mean I like pork."
[03:10] Levius W. Malibu munches on the cured pork as he speaks so.
(Levius W. Malibu)

[03:11] Christophore Garijn says, "Hm. Doesn't matter anymore I guess. Ah well."
[03:11] Levius W. Malibu says, "Okay, maybe I like pork, but it's not because I'm an ookami."
[03:11] The hand gesture towards Levius made by Maria was something the irises of the goblin followed, he just stares at those movement trying to figure out what sort of magic trick this girl was trying to do.

He's just too confused to understand sign language at this point; In fact, he don't even understand sign language.

"Lev." The goblin calls out once again, his head tilts slightly with the confusion clear on his visage. "Iz she trying to dance'z?"

There's a brief yawn for a little. "Or iz she trying to say'z something?"
(Snapshot Óir-Gaire)

[03:11] Kip asks, "--Oh. Before I go tend to a few things. Levius, are you entering the lottery?"
[03:11] Levius W. Malibu says, "No, I fuckin' hate those."
[03:12] Levius W. Malibu asks, "How much for an entry?"
[03:12] Maria Malibu huffs!
(Maria Malibu)

[03:12] Levius W. Malibu says, "...She's trying to say something."
[03:12] Levius W. Malibu says, "You'll never know what, yet."
[03:12] Kip says, "Twenty-thousand. Maximum of five. Admittedly..."
[03:12] Levius W. Malibu says, "Yuck."
[03:12] Maria Malibu points at the goblin, pouting at her brother!
(Maria Malibu)

[03:12] Levius W. Malibu says, "That can go piss off."
[03:13] Kip tightens his jaw, and sets his gaze forwards. With the kind of hard-nosed determination a Serious Officer should always be able to bring to bear.

"I love gambling very much."
(Kip)

[03:13] Levius W. Malibu says, "...Wow."
[03:14] Christophore Garijn continues feeding and petting his old crow for a while longer.
(Christophore Garijn)

[03:15] "Now, now... no need to get mad! You just haven't seen sign-language or anything before, have you? She is indeed trying to say something with those little gestures, mhm..."

A head-pat is slowly offered to the goblin, as well as the younger Malibu... surely an attempt at remedying the misunderstanding, a universal beckon to compromise.
(Levius W. Malibu)

[03:15] Kip says, "I'll see you later. For the 'consult'."
[03:15] Levius W. Malibu says, "Sign-language might take a little to learn-"
[03:15] Levius W. Malibu exclaims, "Bye!"
[03:15] Levius W. Malibu says, "But it's very rewarding."
[03:16] Levius W. Malibu says, "You can talk to interesting people... whose stories often go untold because society cares not."
[03:16] Levius W. Malibu asks, "Right, Maria?"
[03:16] Christophore Garijn asks, "Gonna have to say goodbye to you soon, hm, little trouble maker?"
[03:16] Levius W. Malibu sidehugs his sister sympathetically, and a tinge of melancholy adorns his otherwise devil-may-care face... this is a topic near to his heart.
(Levius W. Malibu)

[03:18] Kip says, "Thirty-thousand crowns... I feel, so much better. I feel refreshed. Like a new year's begun, and a cool sea-breeze is on my face."
[03:18] Kip says, "--Hmmh. Resting. Sorry."
[03:18] Alas...

Maria does what she could, poking the goblin's nose and smiling. She was merely being playful, introducing herself ton the goblin.

She gestures to her brother to say her name for her, mouthing the words 'Maria' to snapshot and pointing to herself.

She nods at her brother's words, a sigh escaping her lips. Though it seemed as of late was she trying her hardest to escape her comfort zone. Without the ability to communicate regularly, did she try other methods to express herself. Alas, her disability did not define her.

There is a tinge of melancholy to Maria's expressions. She smiles softly, wishing that she could express herself better than through mere gestures and expressions. Though...it wasn't really her fault. Many goblins were just...

What was the word?

Challenged? Mentally?

Yeah...

She smiles at the goblin, booping him on those. Her gaze tilts to Levius, curious ofhis name. Perhaps she didn't hear before, with all the commotion.
(Maria Malibu)

[03:19] Snapshot Óir-Gaire says, "Wait'z here."
[03:19] Levius W. Malibu says, "...Oh, he's Snapshot"
[03:19] Levius W. Malibu can read his sister quite well... no handsigns are needed, only glances to deign what she wishes.
(Levius W. Malibu)

[03:20] Levius W. Malibu says, "Hi-hi, Majora."
[03:20] Majora Malibu says, "Hi."
[03:20] Majora Malibu exclaims, "Yo!"
[03:20] Aricles Alline says, "Hello.,"
[03:21] Aricles Alline says, "I can go grab the ore."
[03:21] Majora Malibu says, "Not sure if you got my letter or not.."
[03:21] Majora Malibu says, "Yea."
[03:21] Maria Malibu exclaims, "!!!"
[03:21] Aricles Alline says, "I didn't."
[03:21] Maria Malibu nods at her brother!
(Maria Malibu)

[03:21] Maria Malibu exclaims, "!!!!"
[03:21] Something lightly unexpected happens to the sour girl when she spies that old, moth-eaten crow that Christophore holds and coos to. As food is rendered to its beak, she watches shyly, carefully, with her sour and miserable expression.

She creeps closer, unabashedly coming up almost face-to-face with the Garijn, peering at the small animal with her dulled yet piercing red hues. Her brow knits.

"Is he old?" She asks almost rhetorically, as though she could not see the creature's age right in front of her face.
(Mari Dominic)

[03:22] Lieryth says, "..."
[03:22] Levius W. Malibu says, "Er- hello-hello."
[03:22] Levius W. Malibu asks, "Any way I can help you, ma'am?"
[03:23] Lieryth says, "Hm"
[03:23] Levius W. Malibu gives a polite wave and the smallest of bows.
(Levius W. Malibu)

[03:23] Lieryth asks, "You have good manners. Are you employed?"
[03:23] Levius W. Malibu says, "Yes."
[03:23] Levius W. Malibu says, "I am a guardsman here."
[03:23] Levius W. Malibu says, "Levius Wanderheart Malibu, at your service."
[03:23] Lieryth says, "Ah."
[03:23] Levius W. Malibu asks, "Why might you ask, miss?"
[03:23] Lieryth asks, "Are you though?"
[03:24] Levius W. Malibu asks, "...Huh?"
[03:24] Levius W. Malibu says, "If it's anything I can help with, yes."
[03:24] Levius W. Malibu says, "I serve the people."
[03:24] Levius W. Malibu says, "Protect and serve, and all."
[03:24] Lieryth asks, "Are you able to guide me to the theater place?"
[03:24] Levius W. Malibu says, "...Uh, we have a concert-hall here..."
[03:24] For some time, he didn't realy bother responding. Instead, simply feeding him, as he lived in that little pocket on the inside of his coat. It doesn't look like there was that much strength left in the crow anymore. And yet, he was still taking care of the animal.

"Flew to me about… 15 or so years ago. It had a long life. Mostly kept him as a pet and occasionaly send him along to deliver messages."

A simple explanation, as he opened his coat a little better, to allow a better view of the critter. Even if it showed a few other trinkets hidden away on his person. Like an extra knife, giving of a distinct aura of death.

"Not sure what to do soon. If I give him a real burial. Or ask is spirit if he wants to stick around a little longer with me."
(Christophore Garijn)

[03:25] Levius W. Malibu asks, "So maybe that's where you mean?"
[03:25] Lieryth says, "Show."
[03:25] Levius W. Malibu says, "Follow along, please."
[03:25] Maria Malibu thinks, "brudder...."
[03:25] Maria Malibu thinks, "He's finally getting a girlfriend."
[03:25] Maria Malibu buzzes, "I'm so proud!"
[03:26] Maria was unable to speak nor does the Goblin able to understand what she's trying to say with her sign language, and then Levius wasn't helping by not telling him what she said!

The girl booping him causes the Goblin to squint, was she trying to say something else? He's unable to understand nor interpret.

For a brief moment, Snapshot stood from his seat, running all the way towards the forest to claim some materials needed; And then he returns, crafting a whole paper in front of the group before..

Handing the paper towards Maria.

"You'z write then, makez things easier." Snapshot extends his left hand towards the ground before collecting a small pile of dirt, and then melting it into mud to stick it behind the paper like a glue.

The'd then proceeds to stick the paper on top of Maria's forehead for no reason.
(Snapshot Óir-Gaire)

[03:28] Kapono asks, "Good day. Got a moment to spare?"
[03:28] Kapono says, "Curses, seems I scared em' off."
[03:29] Waits politely for a fair moment, looking for a better time to join the conversation..
(Kapono)

[03:32] Interesting. How could she explain herself to the goblin? She furrows her brow toward snapshot, sighing and grunting a little, stomping her feet as if this challenge to express herself were causing her an annoyance.

Alas, the little Malibu was dissuaded from a challenge.

She writes in the notebook situated in her bag at her hip, taking it out and writing firmly upon it's pages. She was a swift writer, if not a little sloppy.

'I am Maria Malibu. It's nice to meet you. I am Levius's sister.' she explains, showing the pages to the goblin.

...He knew how to read, right?

"!!!"

Alas, the goblin escapes! Maria is left confused for a few moments, before he eventually comes back with a slice of paper. Planted directly atop her forehead.

...What?

Um...

She takes it giggling to herself. Surprisingly, she didn't react negatively. She was having a blastinteracting with this wierdo, giggling silently to herself and covering her mouth as she took the page from her forehead and would begin to write.

'You are silly.' she writes toward the goblin, smiling softly at his presence. She tilts her head, writing upon the same paper that was given to her. 'Do you want me to draw you?' she asks as she hands the paper to the goblin. Hopefully her writing was legible enough.

There was...the slightest bit of annoyance at the dirt now planted firmly on her features. The least the goblin can do was make it up to her and let her draw him...

Odd one, he was.

(Maria Malibu)

[03:32] * You have been awarded 2 Levels! * [03:32] Mari does not regard the trinkets very much, finding the crow the most interesting thing. In a coat pocket, she notes how weak it seems, and the frown on her face seems to soften slightly.

She tilts her head just a touch, leaning forward closer. "He is very near," she says, "I think it is wise to ask him when he wants to go, because surely, a free crow wouldn't want to live in a coat pocket for weeks just waiting to die."

The girl frowns a little more, a little less, as though unsure.

"If his spirit remains, then perhaps his love for you is unfinished business. Make sure to give him lots of love or he'll haunt you forever."

She leans back, giving the man and his beloved pet space.
(Mari Dominic)

{Maliland02das} Majora Malibu transmits: "Lav."
[03:34] [TRANSCEIVER]
{Maliland02das} Majora Malibu transmits: "I have your extra tranceiver, by the way."
[03:37] Curiously, it looked alot more as if Chris had already realised that this was going to happen soon. And didn't seem like he was in any grief. That emotion had passed already over his pet crow.

"It's not for me to decide when he dies. If he wants to hold on a little longer, then I won't just end him. It wouldn't be fair for him."

Finaly, he seemed to actually look away from the pet and back to Mari.

"A spirit staying around tends to do so for a reason. Human spirits at least. Wisps, like he would turn into, are a little more… how would one say… a little less likely to just stay without being asked or having the proper means."

"I have them as a spiritmancer. I just don't know if I should, or if I should let him pass on after a long life. We all have to die someday after all. And he is no exception."
(Christophore Garijn)

[03:40] Finally joined in the conversation after listening on for a fair bit. Stating in a simple tone.

"Greetings."

Hand raised, waving as he approached. Heavy rucksack over his back as he said

"Got a moment you two?"
A light smile rested upon his expression as he awaited an answer.
(Kapono)

[03:40] Mari Dominic asks, "Hm?"
[03:40] Christophore Garijn asks, "Hm? Wandering merchant?"
[03:43] In response to Christophore's words, nodding. Then lowered his rucksack in-front of them both. He'd open it as he said

"Cheap goods. Simple stuff. Things to mix with, some ores."

He reached inside his rucksack, taking out a few Poppylus, saying..

"Got bulk of these."

Then reached back in to his rucksack, taking out a small pouch, shaking it, it began to gently shimmer, adding..

"Got even a little fairy powder."
(Kapono)

[03:45] There was a moment where Mari contemplated the conundrum she'd faced just moments prior- when was it right to end another life? She held a very macabre and downright eager outlook on murder, but for mercy, it was another story.

Thus, she thought on it while she listened to Kapono.

"Amber," she asks- or rather demands, looking to him expectantly.
(Mari Dominic)

[03:46] "Hm..." He didn't seem to think too much, while he tended to his little friend for a little while longer.

"No, currently I am good. If anything, the only thing I'd look for right now would be very rare ores. And even those I have to some degree, sorry. I'm probably the worst person to try to sell something to."

Afterall, he had enough supplies to supply a small kingdom for a few years.
(Christophore Garijn)

[03:50] Normally, someone of his kind would struggle to read something that came from the common tongue; But Snapshot was a goblin born and raised in Meranthe, he's even educated than most who are from the shadowlands.

"So you'z Maribu Malia.." The Goblin nods in a sagely manner, confident that he got the name all right even though he's got it all wrong by all means necessary, maybe he's got some issues while trying to read letters in certain font?

It was perhaps the handwriting style he's inexperienced of.

The goblin places his hand over his chest, it's not that the she could see it regardless given the oversized robe he's got covering his entire form.

"I'z Snapshot Óir-Gaire from Serenity'z." A common sense is something the Goblin certainly lacks; Or maybe it's because of some strange goblin culture, with these things eating literal rocks for survival, he finds dirt to be clean rather than a filth.

He rose one eyebrow at the next question after the mention of him being silly; He truly is silly, the silliest of them all.

The silly billy of a gobby.

The cloak around his neck rose a bit, he was shrugging. "Snapshot'z don't mind if you'z want to draw Snapshot'z." As he nods, the massive floppy hat of his kind of swings around its' top.
(Snapshot Óir-Gaire)

[03:52] Shakes his head in response to Mari's words, seemingly not carrying any Amber, he said in return.

"I have fairy dust, Perdegrine, a bit of iron. A bunch of Poppylus.. Some lightning crystals..Sweet cap..Ky'iah, hmm.. Oh and glowcaps."

He recited his inventory as he presented the items one by one, then returning them back to the Rucksack.

Then glanced at Christophore, giving him a plain thumbs up, acknowledging to not bother him with more pointless offers.
(Kapono)

[03:55] Mari Dominic says, "The Ky'iah and the Lightning Crystal is useful to me."
[03:55] Mari Dominic gives a nod nonetheless, though she was hoping for amber.
(Mari Dominic)

[03:57] Takes out the called for resources, presenting a single sweet cap and three Ky'iah mushrooms, neatly tied in a bunch by a thin string. He'd offer them over. "It'll be thirty coins." he stated plainly, a light smile present on his expression.
(Kapono)

[03:57] Jaherr Valkynia would try to drink all his whiskey before it eventually spills over.
(Jaherr Valkynia)

[03:58] Thirty? This was a rather sweet deal. She counts out a few silver crowns from her coinpurse, before offering the change to the wandering trader.

In exchange, she tucks the tiny bundle of mushrooms into the folds of her coat, finding a pocket therein- of which, there appeared to be many, haphazardly stitched into the interior.
(Mari Dominic)

[03:58] [TRANSCEIVER]

[04:00] "!!!"

Maria nods! Her efforts to express herself seeming to work for the goblin. Luckily, this one was educated and actually situated firmly in modern society. Was Maria being a goblinphobic? Judging someone before even getting to know them?

She furrows her brow at the fact. It would seem that her tendency to stay indoors most of the time would give her stereotypical view on goblins. This one was different, however. Merely adopting the culture around him and staying true to his own. A newfound respect is formed, alongside a delicate curiousity.

"Mm." she nods, making a light noise with her lips to confirm. While she was mute, it did not mean she could not make a few noises to communicate.

He was...close, at least. She doesn't question it any further.

He got her name completely wrong, but in truth, Maria had no way to correct him.

She nods at his introduction, smiling gently to the goblin at her forefront. Itwas a fact of them all that all would seem to agree. This goblin was a silly one, as was typical of their culture and beliefs...

"!!!" She gasps as Snapshot agrees, clutching her notebook to her chest. She pulls the goblin to the side, tugging at his arm as finds a nearby canvas to draw on. She pulls him to the side, quite literally tugging at his arm.

Once situated, does she get to work. The canvas and tools available gave her ample colors and brushes to draw the goblin in all his glory. Her hand begins to flick, darting gazes flicking toward the goblin as she decorates his features onto the canvas in front of her.

A few minutes pass, perhaps several. Maybe even an hour! But eventually, does she express a finished product. The colors and scrawling's on the canvas depict a elegant depiction of the goblin. Sitting on a rock, she captures his features with pristine accuracy. While she was no master artist, she knew enough to draw people accurately. Capturing the details of the goblin's features and face, his lithe frame, and of course, the large ears and unique clothing he wore.

She'd color the canvas, painting a distinct shade of green to match his shade of skin. The drawing is shown to the gobbo, a tilt of her head expressed, as if to ask for approval.
(Maria Malibu)

[04:01] Takes the coins without counting them even, pockets them and says

"Wonderful, thanks for the coin."

A quick nod was given to show his gratitude.

"Have a good day you two."

The bald man stated, waving lightly and turning to leave, quick to pull the rucksack over his shoulders, preparing to leave.
(Kapono)

[04:01] Christophore Garijn says, "...he had no idea how cheap he was selling."
[04:02] Mari Dominic says, "Alas."
[04:02] Christophore Garijn says, "I'm not going to fill him in."
[04:06] [TRANSCEIVER]
{Maliland02das} Majora Malibu transmits: "My room."
[04:13] Even for a kid, the goblin can be moved easily by then given how small he is, although not as small as a fairy, he probably weighs like a school backpack that is full of textbooks carried by nerds who may have some swole back carrying those everyday.

Now at that canvas, the goblin just stood there in such a lazy manner, he wasn't even going to bother to move around to mess with the drawing of his that would soon be done by Maria, needless to say that he's got no goals nor destination to go for the evening.

He wasn't anticipating for any results at all, or he's expecting something rather simple given how basic he's dressed and covered, most of the details about the goblin are just hat and a robe, with his head being stuck in the center like a sandwich.

The lazy eyes stare at the canvas that was painted, by the girl.

He's got no experience in criticism therefore; A basic nod is given towards her imitating an approval, his energy was by far too drained to even give a comment towards it.

Or it's just that he's always got no comments on something at all, unless that something is an object that is too alien to him, something he cannot understand.
(Snapshot Óir-Gaire)

[04:14] Christophore Garijn says, "In either case. I should be on my way for now. I will see you eventually again."
[04:14] Mari Dominic says, "Goodbye."
[04:14] Christophore Garijn says, "Likewise."
[04:14] Christophore Garijn tugs his coat in for a few moments, to make sure his crow is comfortable, before heading onwards.
(Christophore Garijn)

[04:20] Maria quite literally YANKS the poor goblin away. Where she lacked in words, she made up for in boldness and passion.

Either way, Gravity magic would keep him in place to watch.

The drawing is finished, a light shade of red present on the girl's cheeks. She expresses it firmly, as if wanting to say 'ta da!' but not having much means to do so!

She turns the drawing toward the goblin, waiting for a much needed scrutinizing. A nod was enough to make the girl ecstatic! She smiles innocently, patting her chest proudly.

It was a pleasure to meet the goblin.

He was probably stupid and losing a few brain cells, which made him the perfect candidate to exentuate her ego.

Either way, did she find an interest and new friend in the gobbo. She takes the drawing, pocketing it firmly in her notebook before bowing and taking her leave.

As she leaves, however...

"..."

She would remember the glance from earlier.A mere flick of someone's eyes. A gesture of rivalry. Perhaps...

Jealousy?

She'd try to walk away, yet her eyes couldn't help but direct a gaze toward another with a similar, familiar name.

A mere glance, yet would the spectacled girl catch it?

"..." She flicks her gaze, staring directly at the cat at the woman's side instead. She would want too walk away, yet did curiosity beckon her.

Canary hues flick back to the girl again, a spitting image directly fervent in her gaze...

She'd wonder, if her curiosity would be the end of her...

"..."

A gentle flick of her gaze, a rivalry brewing. From what? One might wonder?
(Maria Malibu)

[04:26] Now, the square was empty save for but a few stragglers of the morning hubbub, some gone to bed and others gone to obligation. Mari is left standing, her expression that of disdainful boredom, before something catches her eye.

The girl who she'd looked toward moments prior walks toward her, and aims to brush past, yet the look in her eyes is unmistakable.

Mari was being looked at.

Dulled, yet piercing red eyes lock onto the mute girl as she walks by, undaunted by the prospect of social interaction. The Dominic was a special breed: A problem child.

Mari quirks a brow at Maria and folds her arms in front of her. Somehow, she was taller at ten years old than the young Malibu.

The cat at her side would appear to be a fakery, crafted from synthetic materials, but it definitely moved like the real thing as it paced around her legs, bumping its head against her dress on occasion in a vie for attention.

"..."

She squints at the other girl.
(Mari Dominic)

[04:34] Levius W. Malibu exclaims, "!"
[04:34] Levius W. Malibu asks, "Met my sister, Mari?"
[04:36] A brewing rivalry. The mere attitude and aura from the other girl making the younger teenager furrow her brow with annoyance. Were they jealous? Why couldn't they say it to her face?

Alas, did Maria have difficulty communicating. But she had a talent for reading expression. A talent for pettiness, as her gaze finally fixates on the peer before her.

Both Mari and Maria are left standing. A gentle breeze bellows against the empty square, as if to the two were in a brisk stand off. Gazes finally directing themselves to each other. Maria's was filled with curiosity, the selfsame gaze given to her before, being given straight back to the other.

A disdainful boredom. A desire for more. A similar gaze Maria would fixate. Why else would she talk with the goblin? There was almost nothing else for her to do at this hour besides shoot trees or practice Wayfinding.

Should she approach? Should she ask why she was staring?

Or should she leave?

"..."

She was always given a choice. And alas, she'd wonder if she'd make the right one today.

Piercing red eyes would mark the canary, delicate hues of the other. A tension fills the morning air. Those mere feet away from the young girls can feel it. It stemmed instantly, rumbling through the amber grass as if it were a quake of mana.

"..."

She pauses to gaze at the girl. Canary hues, eyes locked in amber fervent and direct toward the black haired girl. A problem child. A runt.

Just like herself.

"...Hm." she echoes. Eyes now lock onto her, darting back and forth between her frame. To her cat, and then back to herself. The Malibu was holding her notebook tight as she stared to the girl, close to her chest, as she was protecting it.

She approaches.

Curiousity, as was typical for all Malibu's. The very same that got her mother in somuch trouble and strife. It stares at the Dominic.

She wonders if their family knew each other.

She approaches, finding the courage in her heart to pursue this curious gaze. The mute tilts her head, a glance given to her first, before darting back to the synthetic mimicry that was a feline.

She smiles.

"..." A tilt of her head, as she gazes. A greeting. Or as much as the Malibu can perform, given her disability.

"..." She writes in her notebook. A swift writing, expressing the pages to the Dominic.

'I am Maria. It is nice to meet you.' it would express.

Yet there was more beyond those words, it would seem.

Curiosity.

Jealousy.

[04:37] Levius W. Malibu gives Maria a smile and a petting of her head, and soon plops down on the bench, tiredly... and shuts his eyes. Not quite asleep, but not quite awake, either.

[04:46] 'They stole my name. I can't have shit in this city.'

Mari's first thoughts are as such as she reads the message the mute has for her, and a lack of understanding for why the other girl writes in the book rather than merely speaking like a normal person soon follows. She frowns in contrast to the girl's smile.

"Why don't you talk?" She asks brazenly. "If you want to write, you may as well send it with the hawks."

There's a certain apathy and condescendence to her tone of voice, and it is not fully sure if she intends for it or not.

Mari wrinkles her nose.

"I don't get it," she adds before a response can even be uttered. Her arms fold in front of her, and she glances aside toward Levius. It is no surprise that they are siblings, though her reasons for thinking such are best left unspoken on.

A sigh of indignation escapes her, and she pushes up her glasses on her face.

The synthetic cat pitters forward to bump its head against Maria's leg, much more friendly than the girl it accompanied.

[04:47] Levius W. Malibu says, "Hey-hey, don't be like that."

[04:58] Maria was a soft girl. Her voice would be timid, if she had one. Her expressions and gestures, always kind and humble. Yet for this girl, did she find a different emotion bellowing in her heart. Perhaps she was jealous at a kindred soul, finding being the runt more than enough to cause her to want to challenge the Dominic.

'The Hel are you looking at me for? Do you have a problem?' she ponders. A furrow of her brow. The similarity of names was not known, until of course, the girl introduces herself.

'Why don't I talk? It's because I can't, you idiot.' she bellows in her mind. Mere words are a reminder of her disability. A kindred and soft soul, did she still find room for sass in her heart.

She furrows her brow at the girl's words. She huffs, breathing a mellow, soft sight.

She writes.

'I am a mute. I cannot speak.' simple words, given to her. Despite the annoyance and curiousity in her features.

She gestures to her throat, to make her disability clear to the other girl. Yet, was she able to still sound words and noises. Perhaps her vocal cords were still in tact...?

Not that she'd care.

Maria wrinkles her nose, the condescendence matched with a furrow of her brow and desolate expressions. Mari reminds Maria of her disability. Intentional or not, did it echo in her heart.

A reminder.

'I was born like this.' she explains, writing and expressing the notes to the Dominic. Something interrupts her words, however. A soft feeling brushing against her leg, as if rubbing against her.

"???" She tilts her head, finding the synthetic cat bumping against her. A gaze flicks between Mari and the cat in confusion. She gestures, waving her hands toward the cat as if asking to pet it.

"..."

Maria bows down, offering her palms to the mimicry. A smile finally forms upon her features. If the cat approaches, she'd pet it softly. A gesture of humility and softness.

Maria attempts to pick up the cat, coddling it in her arms beside the other similarly named Dominic. How would it react? She'd hope not badly...

[05:16] Mari was obviously younger than the Malibu she had offended, that much was clear. Despite being slightly taller, she was distinctly unrefined in the maturity department, socially or physically. This only partly excused the bothersome nature she exhibited, of course.

She pays attention to the writing after Levius voices his disdain. It makes her brow twitch slightly to be admonished in such a way.

Nobody did that and got away with it except for her mother. Levius is silently added to an ever-growing list of hers.

Yet perhaps Maria would in fact get away scot free if not for what she did to her cat. As the synthetic is picked up, it is revealed to be rather stiff, fairly comfortable in the arms owing to a copious amount of fluff yet its façade falls apart at the physical contact.

Mari stares at it with a burning sort of anger, more pronounced than the idle bitchface she typically sported. She does not act on this however, only expressing her contempt through her stare (albeit powerful enough to smite someone dead on the spot).

She crosses her arms.

It's absolutely jealousy. In particular, she was confused how the synthetic cat had chosen someone else over her.

Finally, she reaches her arms out expectantly, waiting for Maria to give it back. She does not offer apology or another word otherwise, only staring daggers into the girl's heart.

[05:24] Levius W. Malibu says, "...Maria, I'm goin' to sleep."
[05:24] Levius W. Malibu exclaims, "Take care!"
[05:27] The girl's palms comb over the little cat's patches of fur. It was a soft and delicate feeling, digits crossing over the entirety of it's frame. Maria even scratches it's chin, combing digits behind the ears of the mimicry.

She smiles and enjoys it's company, even chuckling at it's pure, unadulterated cuteness! She loved the little cat, happy to take it in her embrace despite it being merely a mimicry.

Yet did the other Mari pick up the copius amount of fluff across it's body. Cuddling against her chest, making a show of her cuddling right in front of the Dominic. Her gaze flicks, a smirk tempting and clear upon her features. While she could not speak words, it was clear what that smirk meant. The little Malibu was making a mockery of the Dominic! Carrying the little cat in her arms!

Oh, did she love to see her face. The burning, petty anger. A resting bitchface as the girl coddles her dear cat. Words weren't needed, for the little Maria was as petty and teasing as the other Mari.

They were rivals now. And mere words didn't need to show it.

She coddles the cat, gently flowing a lock of digits across it's pronounced, soft fluff. Mari would smite her on the spot, and yet would Maria merely smirk in retaliation...

Would Maria give it back? Or merely keep it to herself?

"..."

She ponders. Alas, the little Malibu was a petty thing. But she was not cruel. The synthetic cat is handed back, gently placed in the arms of the little Dominic. Maria flicks her hair, deciding it best to take her leave for the time being.

Yet would she remember the Dominic, and the similarities they shared.

A resting bitch face is flicked toward the girl, alongside a huff. Despite being slightly older, did the Malibu carry a level of sass as equal as the Dominic.

Rivals until the end. She'd remember her. And no doubt, see her again.

...She'd make sure of it.

There was more to this rivalry than the simple picking up of a cat.

She'd make sure to see her again.

For there was more to the both of them than this mere interaction would let on.

[05:28] Mari Dominic receives the cat wordlessly. She strokes her chin languidly, placing Maria on the list without another word or thought spared toward the matter...
