Blood Priestess or Help, The Trees Speak Drakonic!
Synopsis
Despite everything, Mamet is in a good position right now. They have a great queen, competent henerals and geography is on their side. Trying to step into a leading role myself is to invite a needless conflict, not to mention quite ungrateful to Simka. What Mamet lacks is competitive military technologies, proper logistics and an access to the proper magic, instead of several half-forgotten temple collections.
The plan is to use my status to support Simka's rule by creating the unifying Mametian religion, the best way to achieve spiritual empowerment for everyone syncretized from all the modern and lost cult practices. Preferably with a sacrifice element minimzed, though I am not against using animals and specially created nightmare entities for this. Another part is to strengthen the connection with Doria to import as much specialists (especially elven) and modern military technologied (especially warmachina) as possible. We have Brastat on our side and a lot of ways to cut corners on the production, so Vtorusha's army composition of savages with the most advanced mechs in the world may see the use again.
The last part of the agenda is to use the Drakonic and mystical legacy of Mamet not as a standalone "I win" card, but to empower other aspects. Teleportation sygils need to be properly rediscovered, upscaled and implemented as stationary waypoints for non mages. Still easier an easier method than building roads through the jungle, that paves the way to the unification of the whole Mamet while providing us with unparalleled ability to reposition our forces against Ecumene. Drakonic control over all lesser drakes can be exploited to hilarious results with Thaumiel's nightmare crafting technique, I just need to make all created monsters dragon related in some way to give drakonids on our side an ability to properly direct the tide of abominations. And we can make A LOT of abominations, nightmare is an inexhaustible resource while I intend to share the knowledge with all my disciples.
I just need some time and soon instead of fighting a poorly armed guerilla resistance Ecumene will face a supremely mobile mechanised army of the whole continent, using the unending stream of nightmares as a battering ram. All of this directed by the prophetic visions and literal divine guidance.
Patron
SRTR - maybe the worst choice in the entire build, since my "empowering others, building systems" approach is vastly more appreciated by YMRD. The bet is that she is bored enough to play strategy with me through the Stigmata. Stigmata itself is a very good thing for a religious figure, not to mention the whole Archaia being a dungeon thing, so we can maintain a constant contact. Divine right of kings indeed.
Untimeskip, Extra Mentor x3
Parents and place in the world
Mother:Simka Citlalzo (Greater Yus) - I feel slightly guilty for tainting her motherhood experience by being a slightly malformed, godmarked, prophetic freak. Still, I'll try my best to help her and make her burden easier. Channeling as much of the worship as practical her way is quite important to not worsen a disbalance between us .Greater Yus is kind of a free pick here, since it simply says that eventually Simka will settle into a role of a queen.
Father:Taexx (Cherv' - Zhivete) - Taexx is extremely important here. He is an influential drakonic warlord moving to Mamet to marry the queen, I'll give a good odds that he brings some supporters with him and we can attract a lot more people from his home country eventually. He is an expert in drakonic biology, carryiong at least some of Pantorai's knowledge. He is the best teacher of biology that I need for both nightmarish and drakonic projects, while still being capable of easily solving most of my medical issues by himself. His letters will elevate him even further in this regard, ensuring that he eventually discovers a method to cure his affliction.
Race: Drakonid
Languages: Benewhisper, Entramitraic, Drakonian(Quitened), Everman, Sylphid (+1 Mentor). Tutored(Everman) x2
Location: Archaia (Untimeskip + Dice Fudge), Mamet Interior.
Gifts
Noble Inclination, Royal Claim, Intelligence, Wisdom, Caster Intuition, Spiritual Feel, Ethereal Beauty.
Wereplague +4A - will be easily cured by Thaexx as soon as he notices it.
Missed Shape (Arm) +3A - a more challenging problem, but it was either this or Bitter Sickness. Here I can at least create a nightmare replacement if all else fails and we can't solve the problem together with father.
Meandering Thought+3A - it simply sucks. I am going to meditate a lot though, so managing it should be doable.
Memory, Wisdom, Attentiveness -6A - all are important for a prophet, relying on All-Glimpse to save the day without me putting in the work would be a folly.
Icon of Icons -5A - I have a good presence, a royal status, soon to gather my own cult and 6 companions. It is simply perfect for this situation, turbocharging my future seeing and mental talents. Beating Charlie will require a lot of clever thinking plus every mystical insight that is possible to discover.
All-Glimpse-5A - research ancient secrets without going mad? All-Glimpse. Navigate court politics and diplomatic negotiation? All-Glimpse. Study mechanics and biology, sort mystical practices, pull of impossibly insightful combat tactics? Still All-Glimpse. It doesn't solve problems by itself, but it is the greatest power multiplier, allowing to apply everything I have exactly where it is needed. I am a royalty after all, my greatest contribution is in organising systems, not in slinging fireballs.
Kneeling Twilight-1A - sleep equivalent to talk with SRTR whenever, a way to escape All-Glimpse for a while, a treatment for Meandering Thought and a way to analyze the future even better all in one? Sold!
Stigmata x1 -1A - I hear voices in my head. It is a hyperactive adrenalin-junkie goddess who wants me to do interesting stuff. She is also one of the most knowledgeable people in the entire setting who is eager to talk and give some advice simply out of boredom, so we'll probably manage to establish a good relationship. I just need to avoid the advice that sounds suspiciously like Outerverses version of "Do a barrel roll!"
Thoroughbreeding-1A - establishing a dynasty of drakonic prophet-queens directly guided by SRTR is too useful to pass in the medium term and too hilarious not to do in the long term. I don't know what SRTR's views on governance are, but it is bound to be a good plot hook for several future Outsiders.
Mentors
Pukluxun(Dice Fudge)-4D - she has already done all the research I need to establish my cult and she is a knowleadgable, moral person who I would be glad to see by my side.
Thaumiel(Untimeskip)-5D - her knowledge is crucial for our armies, maybe even manual labor. Being friends with a ruler of Dis opens up a lot of interesting avenues of cooperation, especially with Thaumiel being so hell bent on fighting Ecumene. I think we'll be good comrades in this regard.
Nephinae of the Doria(Untimeskip) -1D - absolutely the most important mentor in the entire build. Her teachings are priceless in gathering the support I require and cultivating my religion, while her connections across all of Doria will open doors in all kind of places to me. Thaumiel is a ruler, but she is very diplomatically isolated. Nephinae has people everywhere and the best access to the elven specialists we desperately need. As a cherry on top, she also has an access to the information about hurting 0^0. I'll eagerly gift elves whatever land they want to build a new Orthrung and relentlessly lobby their interests for everything she brings to the table.
Reks -1D - I am going to fight a long, exhausting war against a far superior foe. The key to success is to ensure that with every exchange Ecumene loses more than us, bounce back from losses faster than them and never stop stabbing until Charlie's empire bleeds out. He is the man for the job.
Companions:
Araith -5D - war may be won by the competing systems, but a giant island sized dragon is a giant island sized dragon. We can solve mysteries plaguing her together and welcome her in a realm where dragons are not locked into a constant antagonism with everyone else.
Mocnaeth-1D - our army is mostly barely trained tribal fighters with some primitive magic. She brings several noble houses worth of mages and officers. With no caveats. Where do I sign in blood? I can add my firstborn as a bonus too!
Brastat-2D - Ecumene has an experience crushing all kinds of magical resistance. Well, good luck with mathemaging warmachinas. Procuring several of them for study through Nephinae is a top priority, slong with showering him with trophy materials and all the help he needs. Let's see how they will fight a foe who has better technology.
Encounters
Troll +2A/+2D - I am a dragon and the troll is not. I love the smell of burning Uruks in the morning.
Ogres +2D/+1A - preventing it is impossible, foreseeing it in advance and keeping a rescue party at the ready is within my means.
Just a Nightmare - Araith (Iotated Greater Yus - Zhivete) - she will overcome whatever is growing inside her and subdue it. No one turns our cute dragon comrade into another nightmare faucet.
Hidden Amidst the Clouds - Pukluxun (Iotated Lesser Yus) - the best company to research an abandoned temple, who also has wings. Her letter is strange, but more Pukluxun is better than no Pukluxun, right?
Wild and Wilder - Brastat (Lesser Yus) - camping together with him to find a lost tomb sounds nice. His letter probably has to do with some experiment to integrate dream coprocessor into the head or something in that vein.
On Full Stomach - Mocnaeth (Yer') - being eaten together is a fun bonding experience, taming an unusually large drake together from the inside is even better. The letter straight up sucks, I was low on good options.
Breaking and Entering - Thaumiel (Yat) - just like that we've got a portal to Doria! So many trade opportunities, such an improvement to logistics! It will probably make Dis into a very important hun, directly helping Thaumiel's cause. She knows about letters, so I think she will appreciate the one that gives the most control.
Upward Spiral - Nephinae (Iotated Az) - sure, someone will possess my friend and the most important contact. That someone is not fated to survive this experience or hide from the supercharged All-Glimpse, so they are going to get sacrificed on the altar with extreme prejudice to free Nephinae.
Remember About Death - Reks (Iotated Ouk) - he is the only character who will just be a mentor instead of a friend, so I just gave her the least sucking letter. If his ability to bounce back from defeat is really that good Reks have a chance to survive till I notice the problem and try to free him.
Future
Letter: Vedi - very risky, but immortality for a century can be a deciding factor in this war. If the 12th decides to kill me after reading a summary of my achievments, well, so be it.
Parental Support - I want them both to be well, the world already was cruel enough to both to see their own child ignore them for some nebulous greater good.
Journey of the Self - when if not then? A lot of time, new perspective, new cultures, new world. There is no point in making plans if I don't know who I am and what I want.
Magical Training - absolutely vital, every bit helps.
Treasure Hunting - Mamet is full of ancient secrets, the teleportation alone can be revolutionary. Who knows what can be found in the ruins of True Dragons before they became True Dragons?
Quest: Fundamentum - with everything that needs to be done to improve Mamet, bring nagas into the fold, fight off Ecumene etc, It is unlikely I'll even have time for taking on Charlie directly in the first 50+ years. Might as well make Kingdom of Kingdoms the best it can be with a direct support of fate. Maybe we'll to unite everyone to win militarily, maybe we just hold on till the next Outsider or build/discover something incredible that will give us a chance in a direct fight. Even if we fail, I'd rather leave something behind than bet everything on another all or nothing charge, so no E Nomine here.
