[03:28] Slow steps, into his older apartment, and some of the materials are retrieved- he had forgotten he left them around... despite his own whispers to Hina just earlier.
It wasn't until Niemh brought them up did it click into his consciousness.
Still! The Ualdir's son would move closer, towards the older Nephilim, producing to her just two artifacts; one a chalice, while other a more familiar, broken piece he had acquired ages ago.
"Technically, it's just one. The chalice is what we found during the battle against serpent- the other one? It's something I've had for a while. It's a... broken piece; a fragment. More than likely related to where the map is pointing us."
Their next destination- another expedition.
"Feel free to poke around some."

Relic Of Ualdir [ENLIGHTENED] [SHIELD]
"After embracing the trials and tribulations set forth by Altan's Few, this relic of Ualdir, pulsing with enigmatic energies of lightning has been realized. The power that comes from it extends it's lightning like a storm that wants to destroy everything in its wake. Manipulating it may cost the likes of the wielder's personality to steadily change, and because of it, the power that they hold. Wary those who holds power and not know what to do with it."

A Sip Before War [SHIELD]
"A revered artifact that holds a special place in the hearts of the tribe’s people. According to legend, it was once drunken by the God of War himself. The chalice is infused with a metal that is only found in sites where wars of massive scales are fought. It is bathed in gold, diamonds, and the blood of varying warriors, making it a powerful symbol of Ualdir’s legacy.
The chalice can be used as a ritualistic nod toward Ualdir and his teachings, but it holds a special mark for the adventurers who partook in the adventure to meet the people who hold it dearly."

[03:41] Niemh carefully examined the chalice and the relic, her fingers gently tracing the intricate designs on their surfaces. As she turned them over in her hands, she marveled at the craftsmanship that had gone into creating these items. Her fingers lightly tapped the chalice, producing a soft, melodic resonance.
Eivor's explanation about the origin of the chalice and the broken piece piqued her curiosity. She leaned in closer, studying the fragment with a keen eye. The broken relic held an air of mystery and potential significance, its fragmented state hinting at a larger story yet to be unraveled. She couldn't help but wonder how this piece fit into the larger puzzle of their ongoing journey.
When Eivor mentioned their next destination and encouraged her to explore further, Niemh nodded, acknowledging his suggestion. She then reached into her bag and retrieved a piece of paper, holding it up for both Eivor and Hina to see, her fingers delicately handling the item.
"This..." Niemh began, "I obtained after our fight against the Skydrifter. It's a blank spirit contract, and a potent one at that."
Her eyes flickered with excitement as she contemplated the possibilities this relic held, wondering how it might aid them in their future endeavors.

A Blank Parchment of Paper [SHIELD]
"A seemingly ordinary piece of paper that holds a powerful secret. To the untrained eye, it appears to be nothing more than a simple sheet of parchment. However, those who are well-versed in the art of summoning know that it holds the key to contracting the higher echelons of spirits and linking to them.
The process of summoning requires a willingness to sacrifice one's own blood, which is the cost of interlinking with a spirit of such power. Only those who are willing to shave time off their lifespan can achieve this feat. However, it is not an easy task, and those who attempt it must be prepared to wrestle with the spirit to show their unwavering strength.
If they fail, then the spirit may abandon them."

[03:47] "...seems like a simple piece of paper to me."
Was all he'd mumble, blinking a couple different times as a few steps are taken. Arm does lift upward, finger lightly grazing at the parchment there- didn't feel much different to touch, either, which usually wasn't the case for the Holy Mage.
But he'd nod at Niemh's words; she was a hel lot more knowledgeable on the subject of summoning than he was.
"For the relic, I plan on going on another expedition soon- to see what it belonged to, and then to see if we can recreate that thing; retrieve the other pieces. As for the... Chalice-"
He'd pause, lifting it upward in his hand.
"...I talked to some of the locals before we left. The legend goes that it was drank by Ualdir himself. The metal is... rich. But I don't want to melt it- or forge it into something else. It's a symbol of my god's legacy."
A slower pause, then.
"An embodiment of his... teachings, and tenets. I have some plans for it, but they're bit... vague. Maybe to see if we can unlock whatever magic- connections are tapped within? Maybe with help of artificers and alchemist alike... to create something; a chalice still, where only those who are worthy. Only those whom he'd approve of would be able to drink from it."
The aim itself might be confusing- although it held a special place in the heart of Eivor's ambitions. Long-term, at least.
(Eivor)
[04:15] Niemh nodded in understanding as Eivor explained his plans for the chalice and the relic. She recognized the deep reverence and respect he held for these artifacts and the god they were associated with. The holy mage's hesitation in describing his intentions only served to underscore the importance of his undertaking.
She chuckled at his difficulty in expressing his vision, her eyes reflecting a warm understanding. Niemh was well aware that sometimes the significance of such endeavors couldn't be easily put into words. It was a quest that connected deeply with his faith and the teachings he held dear.
"I understand," Niemh began, her voice soft and reassuring. "You seek to create a symbol of purity and worthiness, a chalice imbued with Ualdir's blessing. It's a noble goal, and one that will require both expert craftsmanship as well as the help of those of faith."
"The idea of a binding vow to ensure that only the worthy can access the chalice is a powerful one," She acknowledged, her voice carrying a note of approval. "Such a magical enchantment can be accomplished, but it's a delicate and intricate process. We'll need to dive deep into the chalice's magic and connections to understand its essence fully. To ensure it recognizes the worthy, we must first learn what criteria the chalice itself recognizes."
Niemh offered Eivor an encouraging smile, emphasizing her willingness to support his aspirations. "The relic, too, holds untold potential. Together, we can unravel the mysteries of these artifacts and forge a future that honors Ualdir's teachings."

[04:24] There's a nod, those items lifted upward again, put back into his belongings- and by the time he'd glance back at Niemh, Eivor couldn't help but squeeze his eyes shut, offering a grin all the while; toothy in its nature, bold.
"Figured it'd be long term, but that's fine. The plans I have- ones that'd require such a chalice... well, they're to happen in distant future as well."
Another, slower pause, and then yet another nod as well.
"Join me on the expedition when it comes... it mentions the place with magma- ridden by a past of intense war. I think we both know what that might be," he'd shift his weight from one foot to the other, "Is there anything else I can help you out with, by the way? I could join you- though give me a bit to get some affairs on order first."
(Eivor)
[04:38] Niemh nodded in agreement, acknowledging her willingness to be part of the expedition to explore the location mentioned in the map. She was also pleased with Eivor's offer to help further, and she knew he could be of assistance in the unique magic-drawing process.
"When the time comes, I'll definitely need your assistance with the contract. Your lightning magic is crucial for drawing out the residual energies from our injuries, which will be instrumental in setting up the connection," Niemh explained, "We have time to prepare for the expedition, and I'll work on writing the contract in the meantime. I'll contact you when we're ready for that part."
With a nod and a friendly smile, she made it clear that she valued Eivor's support and expertise.
