They are also available through the Faction Crypts. Glyphs in the crypts will only be applicable to specific classes, so make sure to claim only ones that will work for your character. Rerolling
Rerolling is a process that involves replacing an upgrade item by another item of the same type. This alters its extra stats, but does not alter the level of the item or a unit's attachment slot. Recycling items fill up the progress bar, increasing the upgrade value of an item. There are up to six items that can be recycled in one go, and the amount of points accumulated for recycling increases with both the rarity of the item and its level. The upgrade is random and cannot be guaranteed.
Rerolling or not rerolling is contingent on the player's personal preferences. Some players reroll so that they have a solid set of characters to carry their game. Others might choose to not reroll because they prefer to play with their favorite character, no matter how powerful it is.
Rerolling is expensive and takes a lot of time, so it is essential to consider the pros and cons thoroughly. If you're unsure about which rerolling strategy to use consult with other players and ask suggestions.

Sets
When an upgrade is placed on a set or unique item, a bonus will be given to that set. The bonuses are contingent on the type of upgrade. For instance the boost in def is provided when an upgrade item is placed on an armor set for guardians or a ring, while an aoe damage boost is given when an upgrade item is placed on the weapon.
