What Is Color Anomia?

Color anomia is the inability to verbally name a presented color while being able to point to it when the name is given and to match colors correctly. Color anomia is explained as a disconnection of the cortical color centers from the language areas in the left hemisphere of the brain. ---This is completely unrelated to color blindness.

so.. what the hell does that mean?

Basically, taking away the scientific mumbo-jumbo, I cannot verbally say the right colors when their shown to me on occanion. For example:

(there is a green and orange hlighlighter on the desk and i want the green one)
Me: Can you pass the orange highlighter?
You: Sure (you pass me the orange highlighter as i requested)
Me: What? why did you hand me the green one, I wanted the orange one
You: What?!? I did hand you the orange one.
Me: (oh shit i mixed the colors up)
Me: Oh, i thought orange was blue, wait i mean green, sorry.

So basiclly, my brain cant comprehend colors to the mouth (verbal) well. The color combinations that affect my color anomia the most are:

White and Yellow
Orange and Green
Green and Purple

End of thing, Among Us hard as hell
