inputting an image

![image description, you can write anything here but i like to put any credits](direct link to your image)

links
[text](link here!)
which ill put an example that links to my resource site!
example link
you can link out of rentry links or other rentry links!!

headers

# hey
which is

hey

the hashtags go all the way to 6, going from 1-6
example, starting at 1 going to 6:

rentry

rentry

rentry

rentry

rentry
rentry

dividers

its just ***
but make sure the *** is on its own line or it will not work!!

special text
  • *italic* which looks like this
  • **bold** which looks like this
  • ***italic bold*** which looks like this
  • ~~strikeout~~ which looks like this
  • ==mark== which looks like this
  • !>spoiler which looks like this
    (highlight to view)
  • \*not italic\* which looks like *not italic*

coloured text

%colour% text %% which looks like this (example using blue) text
simply you put the colour you want within the first %%.

  • wait, it doesn't stop there!
you can only use the colours from the rentry colour list
  • but you can also use your own colours!
the way you can input your own colour is using HEX code.
example: %#B4745D% rentry %% which looks like rentry

underlines

there's actually over lines, through lines and combination of those in this section but oh well

!~simple black underline~! = simple black underline

  • but that's kinda boring... let's make it interesting!

coloured underlines
its actually pretty similar to our coloured text...
!~colour; text ~! for example, i'll be using blue
!~blue; rentry ~! which will look like rentry
it also works for hex! which is explained in the coloured text section so i won't explain hex again
!~#B4745D; this ~! will look like this

alignment

-> center alignment <-
center alignment -> right alignment ->
right alignment

bullet points

you can either use * or -
* example with astericks

  • example with astericks
    - example with dash
  • example with dash

checkboxes

- [ ] unchecked box

  • unchecked box
    - [X] checked box
  • checked box

comments

comments are a way to put in text without it actually showing up on the preview
[//]: (comment here)

there's text on that line above using comments!

inline code

inline code is done by putting a ` at the start and end of something, can't write it though without it showing up as inline code itself

image links make it so that if you click an image, it will redirect you somewhere instead of you having to use the usual boring link stuff

[![image desc](image link)](link to direct to)
my example will be directing to my resource rentry!
