♡ Position of the Chronicler (II. The past in the creative aspect, tool)

In contrast to the Author, the Writer is observing. He does not create, he does not realise himself, he fixes. If the past is a goal area for the author, then the past is a tool for the writer. The Writer's self-realization exists outside of the realm of the past, outside of the answer to the question "who am I?"

If the Author creates his past, the Writer employs it. He has an excellent memory and the capacity to see the sources of present events or make similarities to what is happening now in the past (especially if he has the 1st eternity aspect.) The author sees the past as something natural that does not need to be changed, but also as an endless storage of knowledge about the world. He enjoys talking and remembering the past in the company of others; it is a never-ending source of knowledge and joy for him. At the same time, he is not obsessed with his own past, but instead remembers and listens to others.

The past acts as a tool. The writer is aware of his talents and tendencies. This enables him to determine what he is and is not capable of. He quite easily picks up old connections and uses them, he never forgets a successful or unsuccessful experience.

The writer's past is not demanding on him; he does not have to answer the question "who am I?", it is not necessary to think about who he wants to become, it is not necessary to complete what he started.  The past is for him only a tool to achieve goals, but a reliable tool, a favorite tool that the writer uses often, with pleasure, with or without reason.
